Our first time here. What an unexpected surprise. Food was delicious. Fun family place to dine. Christina was awesome with some great food recommendations. Must try the fried chicken and I’m not even a fried chicken person. So good.

I had the margarita pizza and Caesar salad. Both were amazing. Service was great and atmosphere was nice. They had made some extra corn ribs and so I had the luck of trying them as well. Super good. Will head back when I come back to Santa Rosa again.

I've been coming to Rosso for maybe 10 years. It's a great pizza place but they have also pasta dishes. Great selection of nice wines. I think the first time I came here I had heard that the best pizza in San Francisco was not in San Francisco, so I had to go. That might not be true anymore but it's still a great experience here and solid 4 stars. When you come here with kids they will give them a small plate of dough that the kids can shape into anything they want, and they will bake it and bring it back with some delicious pizza sauce and this keeps the kids entertained until the real food arrives.

Busy spot with good service and good pizza and many other choices. The soft polenta with pork belly is a nice plate to start with as a shared appetizer.

So quaint. Service is friendly and the food comes hot and quick. They use a brick oven for their pizzas and I think they do an amazing job getting the food out with wonderful quality.

DELICIOUS- this pizza is incredible. Had the olive and sausage pizza and I loved every bite of this wood fired goodness. The service was friendly and the place was casual to eat alone, meet up with friends or bring the whole family. Definitely will keep this one on my favorite list when back in the area. They also have nice variety of wines to pair with your selection.

I'm blown away by the service we receive here. The servers are attentive, and the food is delicious. My husband loves to order a margarita pizza with raw prosciutto and I like to try all their different amazing pizzas. My kids LOVE the kids menu too.

Great casual dining spot for solid Italian. The salads are beautifully crafted and the pizzas are full of well-curated flavors with a nice crisp crust. The surprise hit of the evening was the linguine vongole. A bit of a riff on the tradition, but absolutely delicious.

Wonderful food and atmosphere. As soon as you step inside, you'd have no idea you were in a strip mall. Simple but wonderful decore'. Open and airy, yet still intimate. I've been here a number of times but today I've decided to leave a review. My son and I are on a mission to visit every pizza restaurant in Santa Rosa. Last night Rosso's was due for our visit. We arrived at 5:30 and found the place mostly empty. We sat at the long bar where there was seating for probably 15. Soccer was on the TV, but upon request, the bartender switch to game 1 of the World Series (come on, I had to ask for that?) The menu was a simple one-page piece of paper with food on one side, beverages on the other. I like this because some places give you a book where you have to flip through pages of menu items, and crumbs fall from it onto your table or lap. My son had a simple cheese pizza, and I ordered a small wedge salad and an appetizer of calamari. Wedge was delicious. Not the typical wedge but it's too difficult to explain. Check photos if you want to see it. Calamari was fresh and not chewy or over battered. My son prefers a pizza more in the style of Round Table, but I thought it was really good. A bit thinner than he's used to but more in the style you'd expect in Italy.

Really enjoyed the meal. The Capo salad was simple but the flavors were light and delicious. The green beans that came with the Calamari were equally delicious. We ordered 3 pizzas: Margherita, Salumi, Moto Guzzi. All 3 were good.

First time here, and the food was awesome. Only downside, was not being able to decide what to order. The highlight had to be the Italian donuts.

This is not typically the type of restaurant that I would go to but after reading the reviews people seemed to like their pizzas and what’s better than a wood fire pizza? They do have a few select beers on tap and a few more in the bottle just in case you want to grab some food but aren’t into the whole wine bar thing. Pizza was great and would be the perfect size to share with someone. Very cool atmosphere and the bartender was very nice and welcoming.

First time visiting Rosso since the Petaluma location closed. The food was really incredible. I tried the polenta with roasted winter squash, and sauteed greens. The saltiness of the veggies and cheesed perfectly complimented the creaminess of the polenta- It may be the best polenta I've ever had! The pizza we ordered was also on point, perfectly crispy with slightly blackened crust and delicious sauce and fresh mozzarella. Rounded out the dinner with a local small production Zinfandel. We will definitely be back soon. The service was great and the atmosphere inside was festive and welcoming. Bravo Rosso...

I honestly can not believe I didn't know this place existed until a couple of weeks ago. The food is so delicious and Joel is awesome! My partner and I went for the first time and shared a pizza and an app. The pizza is delicious and the calamari was too! We went back 2 weeks later and we were not disappointed. We will definitely be going back for date nights. I can't wait for the weather to get a little warmer so that we can sit out on the back patio, which is next to a running creek.

We walked in here in the middle of a day of wine tasting at 1:30 in the afternoon. We had called ahead to make reservations, but they were not needed. The place was almost empty. Usually this is a bad sign but... Their pizza is delicious. Wow. I had their seasonal offering - a white based pizza with coppa, parmesan, and more. It might have been the best pizza I've had in the USA. The waitress was very laid back and pleasant, their drink selection was nice, and the wait for food short.
