Delicious curries and tasty noodles, when mango's in season their mango sticky rice is amazing! Service was a bit slow last time but they were busy and only have two servers.
Awesome Thai food! Got the papaya salad, laab, pad see ew, and green curry. Best Thai food I’ve had in Sonoma County by far!
This will definitely be one of my new go-to takeout places!I had the drunken noodles with beef, broccoli w/oyster sauce with tofu, and the sticky rice and everything was excellent. My partner said his shrimp spring rolls were really good but he did wish his tom kha soup had more veggies like mushrooms.
This restaurant is affectionately known as “Motel Thai”. I have been dining here for over 20 years and can tell you that this is the best traditional Thai Restaurant in Sonoma County.
I also live half time in Bangkok since 2009....some would say that I really know authentic Thai food.
The family that owns Jhanthong Banbua is the same from the beginning. They also offer true Thai hospitality. You won’t be disappointed!

Tasty food, nice size portions, amazing sauces with the perfect amount of spices. The atmosphere is not like most busy, hectic and noisy restaurants. It is peaceful, quiet and the service is lovely; as the family who runs it cares about people, quality food and service and taking good care of their customers. This establishment has a wonderful energy and a lovely environment where patrons can let all the stress go and enjoy healthy, tasty food and some peace of mind as well!
We have been coming to this Thai restaurant for many many years and in our opinion it is the best Thai restaurant in the North Bay. The food is excellent and consistent , all dishes have a unique flavor and every single dish we have ordered and tried has been excellent. My two adults sons and I are Thai food fanatics and we know our Thai food! PLUS the staff is very friendly and accommodating, we love love this restaurant. We highly recommend this restaurant, we are going to have dinner there tonight!

Food is excellent, but pricey. The service is atrociously slow. They simply don't care if you like their service or not. That said, I love the food and prefer to go at lunchtime, when they give you three small portions (3 items) for $10. Have been for dinner, but for the price, we often go to "Simply Vietnam" which also has great food, great service, and all for about half the price.
PS: I do think it's the best Thai food in Santa Rosa.
My partner and I eat here several times a month. The food is invariably excellent. The variety is amazing. We have never had an "off" meal or entree. Somebody out there in the kitchen has really mastered capturing some complex Southeast Asian flavors, with the use of kefir lime leaves as a good example. Service has always been prompt. Considering the variety of selections, this is rather amazing. The staff are very pleasant. And the building is purple! How can one go wrong?
Delicious! Great lunch menu options (this most recent time I had eggplant, satay, and the noodle of the day which was pad thai -- all very tasty). Kid friendly while still being pleasant for kid-free adults. Very pretty, clean interior!
