Shogun Japanese Restaurant - Santa Rosa - Photo album

I enjoyed the nigiri and specialty rolls.. not too much rice to fish ratio. It all tasted very fresh, and the place has a very authentic decor and vibe. It was reasonably pleasant in there despite the hot weather, but did get a little warm inside. Order came out pretty fast and price was reasonable.
Great service and food. We came in a little late, and they were more than willing to feed us a ton of food!
Ordered online for pick up and the gentleman, whom I can only assume is the owner, was prompt and professional. He took my payment and he told me he would find me outside and bring me my order when it was complete. Not very long after he brought my order. Mind you, in the midst of this exceptional s
Started going to Shogun when it opened in Montgomery Village. Favorite place for my son, Scott and myself to go. Left Santa Rosa and just went there on a visit after 20 plus years and it didn't let my son and I down. It was fantastic and tasted just the same - great! The best miso soup ever and I li
Ive been coming to this place for years. Sushi is delicious and fresh. My kid loves the bento boxes. Staff is always accomodating & friendly. 1 week later - Still my favorite place in Santa Rosa. Lemon Chicken Bento Box was 🔥. Rolls ❤️. Toro belly ❤️🔥💯
Our normal sushi place was closed so we tried Shogun. It was pretty good. Presentation was a bit of a mess. Rolls were good, but a couple tasted like they maybe had mayonnaise? That wasn't bad per se, but it was kind of strange. Shogun would be fine if our usual place is unavailable for some reason.
Excellent food and very nice atmosphere. I will definitely be back.
Amazing quality of fish and great service!
We love this resuturaunt because of the quality and service. Exceptional in all categories
Amazing quality and very reasonable pricing! The shogun scallop dish is definitely worth ordering. I have been coming here for years and am always impressed.
I eat here a few times a year. The food is good and the service is excellent. The atmosphere is warm and friendly like a neighborhood place instead of upscale and artsy which I tire of at sushi places. I always get a chirashi sushi which is always a bit different but generous and very good. I don't
Got take out and portions were small, sashimi was 3/5 quality. Rolls were good, but not worth the price. We've eaten here a few times before and portions seem to be shrinking.
One of my top two favorite restaurants. Traditional Japanese dinner house and Sushi bar. The food is always high quality and prepared to perfection. Best miso soup anywhere! Meals come with soup, salad, rice, entree and delicious veggie sides. Meat is trimmed thoroughly and we'll. Very generous port
Wow we were totally impressed with this experience. Very authentic and warm feeling with the inside decor. Im not sure if this is a family run restaurant, but all the staff seemed all in sync and very Japanese lol. The food was GREAT, very timely. The staff was beyond attentive, probably the best se
Well, this year my coworkers and I went for a new twist on the day, sushi! You heard right, yes sushi. My other single coworker( as am I) turned me on to the "cherry blossom" hand roll. It contains snow crab, avocado, sashimi, and rice rolled into one. 8 pieces in all! Oh snap, it's great with a tou
The atmosphere is great, and the sushi was amazing. The staff were attentive but not pushy. The only complaint I have is that the edamame was a little overcooked, but I think that was a fluke based on how good the sushi was. Eat here!
