This quaint little restaurant has a lot of atmosphere for its size. They have a full bar and the before-dinner coctails we had were outstanding. Even though the bartender was swamped, she still took the time to consult with me about how I could make my drink at home. The appetizers were very good. The waiters were very attentive. My friend's beef curry dish was excellent, however I was disappointed with the crab curry dish that I had as it was not very filling and it didn't taste like a crab cake should taste. My other friend liked the lamb chops but wished that they gave him a couple more with his order. I thought that it was a little bit too pricy for the quantity of food we received. But I think that I will be back again. By the way, be sure to get reservations as we had a 45 minute wait for our table (but the bar was very accommodating during our wait).

This place has the best atmosphere 😍 super modern, clean, and sophisticated. The giant paintings on the walls are incredible! The food was delicious and the staff super friendly. Highly recommend!! The cilantro chutney is bomb!!!

Food was delicious and the drinks were unique/yummy! My favorite dish has to be the cauliflower appetizer! Even though Covid-19 is affecting everyone, the atmosphere here was wonderful because our server, Long, was thoughtful and attentive. Would definitely come here again!

The food was pretty good in general. Lamb shank was very tender and peeled off the bone right away. Very tasty and the short rib uttapam was delicious too. Will definitely come back again

Probably one of Santa Rosa's coolest new restaurant's. The food there is amazing, offering a new twist on Indian cuisine. Their drinks are fun and interesting too. They have great vegetarian options as well as classics like Chicken Tikka Masala and Saag Paneer. Don't forget the Naan either! Their ghost pepper naan with side sauce is top notch! If you really want to go for it, get the smoked lamb chop, it is AMAZING!!! All in all, if your in the downtown Santa Rosa area and want a cool experience, hit up Bollywood!

Amazing food and ambience. We tried several options and were impressed with almost everything. The Pani Puri was innovative and fun. The crispy cauliflower was yummy. The grilled corn was fresh and tasty. The wild mushrooms was a bit of a letdown (we kinda assumed that it'd be tandoori mushrooms and this was a mushy chopped version). The garlic naan and the palak paneer made for a delicious combination. The food was a little on the expensive side but I guess that's normal for the location. Sorry for the bad pic, the plates were almost empty before I realized I hadn't taken any pics haha. (The pic shows wild mushrooms, crispy cauliflower and grilled corn left to right and doesn't do the food justice :) ). Must visit :)

Come here for a wonderful dining experience and new age Indian food. Notable items were the lamb korma, chicken tikka masala and avocado bhatura. Note that they also have a happy hour menu that ends at 6:30pm.

SO good. I love experiencing new foods from around the world, and Bollywood Bar definitely hits the mark on Indian food. On top of that, the cocktails are delicious - not only do they look good, but they have really creative & unique flavors I've never tasted at any other restaurant before. The restaurant has a modern ambiance and is located in a great spot in downtown Santa Rosa. Will definitely be coming back!

The restaurant itself is very beautiful, inside and out. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, which tasted good, but was a little too watery for me. I enjoyed the combination of tikka masala and rice, I just wish there was more rice so that I could eat it with all of the masala. The butter naan I ordered alongside it was very good. Solid restaurant. The price of the Chicken tikka masala + rice was very good and affordable.

We were here on a work conference and Bollywood was recommended by a local. Wow!!!!! The food was spectacular and our service was beyond perfect. From the second we arrived, till we left, we could not have asked for anything more. Try the crispy cauliflower.. it is to die for!! And, although I hate avocados, the avocado pancakes were delicious!! Give yourself a treat and stop by-you will not be disappointed!!

I haven't been inclined to review anything for quite a while...our meal at Bollywood has inspired me to share! Covid-19 has made the restaurant experience challenging at best (both for the guest and the operator!) We had low expectations of finding anywhere to have a sit down meal on a recent trip to Santa Rosa..we were pleased to find that 4th st. downtown was closed off to traffic and many of the restaurants on the block were serving in the street! After looking at all of the menus from the various places, we were drawn back to the intoxicating smells wafting out of Bollywood. We were greeted warmly and promptly, and given a table within a minute or so. OUr server (I forget her name) was on the ball and had our table sanitized and ready for us. The entire staff was friendly beyond expectation, even given the hassle of mask wearing and having to serve out in the street. it was a cool, breezy evening, so I had doubts that I could relax enough without a heater to enjoy a meal..I was beyond content with the experience! The food? outstanding. Traditional flavors with a bit of modern flair. We really enjoyed both the crispy cauliflower and the local vegetable pakoras for appetizers...The flavors were bold but not overwhelming..complex in their simplicity. For entrees we hit the classic Chicken Tikka Masala, which refreshingly had lots of moist, dark meat (too many places use only breast meat which is usually over cooked!) and we really enjoyed the Kerala Beef Curry...amazing flavors in both dishes. Of course a Garlic Naan was necessary and we tried a ghost pepper cheddar naan as well ...that was enjoyable, but definitely seemed out of place flavor wise..more akin to a quesadilla than naan really. At some point our server departed and another young man took over who was equally charming and very efficient as well. He recommended we try their little ice cream sandwiches made with a traditional "biscuit" and a lovely cardamom-ish ice cream. we took those back to our b n b and downed them later. The entire staff made us feel welcomed and valued as guests... and the food really is amazing. Without doubt, next time we are in the area we will be stopping by for a meal! to the owner/manager and staff: Thank you! you really made our weekend special. You took the challenges of Covid head on and really delivered!

Excellent! I brought a group of 9 to Bollywood for lunch today, and the whole group was impressed with the flavors, atmosphere, and service. I especially appreciate that they were sensitive to food allergies and reviewed what was safe and what was not for those with nut and avocado allergies. I loved how easy it was to book a reservation for a large-ish group online, too.

Bollywood Bar and Clay Oven is a great Indian Restaurant in Santa Rosa. The food is very tasty, the decoration of the restaurant is amazing and the service is great. If you like Indian food, this is a great place to go. They have a very nice selection of dishes and deserts. It is not super expensive. Worth your visit.

I had the pleasure of dining at this establishment as the last stop of an app crawl with friends. We tried two different types of naan and the chicken tikka masala. I did not try the spicy naan but the garlic was delicious! The chicken was cooked and spiced perfectly. I also had the Bardoli Buck drink which was very tasty and definitely insta-worthy. We had fantastic service from the host to the wait team and I personally enjoyed the cozy and vibrant decor. If I lived closer, I would definitely be a regular. Loved this place and WILL be back if ever in the area.
