We've only been a couple times but it's been a solid experience. We had―you guessed it―burgers that were really good. The atmosphere is comfy and cozy. Both times we visited, it appeared to be especially popular among families with young children. Even so, it wasn't noisy and the service was great. It's tucked away off the beaten path but worth a visit.

Service good, food was good. I ordered the BBQ Bacon Cheddar burger medium rare. They brought out a well done burger. I sent it back. They brought back a perfect medium rare, bun was super fresh. Very good meat could have used some more BBQ sauce. Now I know for next time. The fried pickles were amd onion rings amazing. I will definitely come back, extra BBQ sauce next time.

Carmen's has THE best food! I used to stop in before or after a rehearsal or event (rural cemetery actor) for a burge and a beer but now I'm a vegan - still go with my peeps and can get a salad or veggie burger and a cocktail! Great service, nice ambiance, good prices...can't go wrong.

The burgers and burritos here are amazing! May just be my favorite burger burger in the area now, dethroning Buns and Burgers (which is no small feat!). The other location near the Luther Burbank Center is just as good food wise, but parking and seating (for a bigger guy specifically) is a bit trickier.

All because of my friend Jorge, who at this point is a fixture, is that I get to enjoy the food and company of him and others at this great American/Mexican restaurant and bar. You have classics like a BLT or Streak sandwich, or you can get a couple of Mexican based dinner options like enchiladas or tacos. You’ll like the cozy and inviting atmosphere there at Carmen’s!

Carmen's Burger Bar fulfills a vital niche in this cozy little neighborhood shopping center. They serve your usual all-American faire with a decent selection of beers on tap. The fried calamari was a little less crunchy than I was expecting, but their burgers are always satisfying. If you just want to grab a burger, catch a game, and enjoy a pint in the vicinity of Pacific Market, Carmen's will be right up your alley.

I love this place. I come here all the time, best patty melt in the county. And the Servers are sooo friendly. Great place to chill if you come after the lunch crowd say around 1:30

Great neighborhood grill with good appetizers, fresh salads, tasty burgers and a nice mexican selection. The open faced chili burger and the crispy chicken Cobb salad are my favorites.

Amazing burger and club sandwich! Friendly staff too. Have recommended this to many within the last couple of weeks since we found the place.

Great food, great service, reasonably priced. It is really too bad the landlord is not renewing their lease and forcing them out so Willie's Wine Bar can move in.

I ordered the Carmen burger /rare, it was phenomenal and it’s such a nice environment, pretty clean place. I recommend it if you want to have a drink after work in a quiet setting.

Love the Carmen's burger, love the fries. Staff is really friendly. We came on a Saturday at lunchtime, and they were way understaffed, so the service was really slow.
