I have been dining at The Villa Restaurant since 1986, when first I moved from San Francisco up to Sonoma County. It has always been one of my favorite place to enjoy a casual dinner or a celebration of a Birthday or Anniversary. I'm always pleased by an experience here.

My friend and I showed up at 7 PM and thankfully happy hour last until 730. The bartender was busy but got our wine right away and took our appetizer order. They offer the widest selection of appetizers I have seen in Santa Rosa with the best prices! I have memories of going to the Villa when I was in my 20s!

I went to get Escargot for my brother for his birthday to go. We got there at 3 even though the kitchen was not open yet they did it. It was awesome and they gave me bread for it. My brother loved it and said it was the best he had. My brother is in a wheel chair and almost died two months ago from a ruptured appendix. He can finally eat and is on the road to recovery his Birthday is two days from now . So friendly and thank you for making this for my brother. Over the top customer service. Thank you again.

We've been dining here since 1973 and yes sometimes things aren't always a five star experience. Have you ever worked in a restaurant? If you have you'll know that the team behind the kitchen doors rule the experience. We have never had a bad meal. The service is great. The atmosphere pleasant and we have some very special memories at dinner here. If you want absolute perfection every single time without a bump in the road... eat at home. I would say respectfully that the meals there aren't 100% of the time five star quality. This restaurant has maintained a strong, reliable reputation for good food at great prices! We love it there!!!

After reading the reviews I was a little skeptical but I just had to try the place since I've been driving past it for 12 years. Don't believe all the negative reviews it just could have been a bad day. We were seated at a table next to the window and the view was very pretty got to watch the sunset. Our waiter was very sweet and gave us great service. Our meal was excellent I had the veal marsala and my friend had the beef stroganoff. Both were really tasty and very large portions. The meal came out really hot just the way I like it. Yeah the place is a little older but it's got a charm to it and I couldn't believe how huge the place was. All in all we both enjoyed ourselves and left very satisfied and was an enjoyable experience.

Italian food with great views...indoors looking out the grand windows or outdoor patio seating. Classic menu with wood fired pizzas too. Separate bar with a great happy hour as a local favorite. Honest and fair prices. The raviolis and meatballs were fantastico...My girlfriend really enjoyed her osso bucco too. Minestrone soup and Caesars salad spot on. We had 'Ashlynn' as our waitress who was super friendly and attentive...Friendly hostess also. All in all a great midweek restaurant experience! Oh...the tiramisu was awesome! Salud!

What a cool and classy historical atmosphere! The views were absolutely stunning. We came when the sun was still up and got to watch the sunset on our favorite mountains. Service was outstanding, food was great. We had the absolute best time. This place is a true gem. I wouldn’t want them to ever update this! It’s perfect- feels like another world. Thank you Villa!

I love the Villa, been going here since I was a kid. But my favorite is the happy hour appetizers out on the deck. It has the best view. Food is still very good and service has never slacked!

Easily the best pasta I've had outside of Europe. I had the lasagna and I would highly recommend it to anyone, even people that I don't like!So soft and savory, simply the best. The staff are attentive and accommadating, the menu varied while modestly priced for the high quality, and the vaulted ceilings with the view of the valley are breath taking. Also: Full bar!

Good food, great service, lovely views. We really enjoyed our experience at the Villa last night. The service was excellent, and the food was very good. We enjoyed an appetizer of the fried calamari, and it was perfect. The sauces that accompanied it were excellent. We also had side salads, and although the salads themselves were average, the salad dressings were homemade and were delicious. The chicken parmigiana was a big hit, as was the steak and lobster. The prawns were a little overcooked but the flavor was very good. Desserts were also lovely and we were very happy with the chocolate mousse and two different gelato desserts. One smaller drawback was that we were a little surprised by how run-down things looked, and hope that they are able to invest in their infrastructure sometime soon. But overall we recommend dining at The Villa and look forward to going back again soon.
