Always fabulous food ... breakfast is my favorite. We had the lobster Benedict and it was to die for.... highly recommend!
Came for dinner with my love, the night before my cesarean. We wanted to enjoy some alone time away from our 3 year old and the house and we are sooo happy we chose Claytons for our special night. We ate the margerhita pizza as an appetizer along with the coconut shrimp. A cup of Clam chowder before dinner. The macadamia crusted grouper was delicious. My man had the rib rye which was tasty too, cooked just right. Josh was our server, ask for him. He takes pride in his role and made our evening comfortable. I had to switch tables to accommodate my big pregnant belly, the staff was helpful and ready to assist. We observed the rest of the staff and they were on top of it especially refilling my water and clearing plates. Super cute/fun art work, great ambiance.
Really great restaurant. Relaxing atmosphere, great service and fresh tasty food. As a vegetarian it was so nice to find real vegetarian options on the menu instead of the usual token salad. Highly recommend!

Everything was great - crab cakes, jam, pear salad, ribeye and ended with an awesome chocolate martini. Service was great. Highly recommend reservations.

My family and I love coming here for dinner, have been several times and the food and staff are always wonderful.
We just returned home from our annual girls trip to Siesta Key and we are so glad to have found Claytons Siesta Grille on our first night in town. We loved the experience so much, we dined there seven out of seven nights! The food.was amazing as well as the staff. Some of our favorites were the salmon, the fish tacos, and spaghetti squash tamales. The shrimp and grits special served on our last night was the best I've ever had! The blueberry upside down cake was the perfect ending to most meals and a must have if you eat here! We look forward to our visit next year!

Good food, loved the atmosphere!!!! I would go back no question. The server was nice, the manager stopped my our table & we had a wonderful family meal that was reasonably priced for what you got. The fish & fries was awesome!!!
Started rocky..the hostess was a high school girl with attitude. Asked to sit outside because it was SO COLD inside, 63 degrees outside and they had then AIR on :-(!!! Anyway we got the BIG SIGH and an eye roll then she came back and took us to our table. I was ready to leave right then but I didn't and I am SO GLAD I didn't. The food was spectacular. Four people we had the beet salad, Caesar salad and two shared the Greek. All were amazing especially the Greek!!! Fantastic!!! Two ordered the scallops, one ordered the grouper, one ordered the 8 oz filet. EVERY SINGLE DINNER WAS AWESOME!!!! Key lime pie and creme brûlée was delicious. All around fabulous!!!

We ate here twice in a week. Great food and atmosphere. The owner roams the dining room to chat with customers. We mentioned we were going to bring a friend with dietary restrictions. He gave us his card with personal cell number for us to communicate our needs directly to him. Our friend was very pleased with his meal. Terrific service.
Excellent. Went here after a long day at the beach and it was wonderful. The coconut shrimp were the best I've had, and I have high standards! Service was good, bathrooms were clean. Overall a great experience.

Great Food, Awesome Staff. The food is awesome here. Clayton's chef make some very creative and tasty meals. I love the pizza's even though they are not known for that they are awesome.
Since discovering this place I have been at least once a week for over six months now and the food and service have always been excellent.
Exquisitely prepared fish, a culinary masterpiece that has tantalized my taste buds in recent years. Meticulously balanced, juicy, and tender. I must commend the chef's wizardry, particularly with the accompaniment – young potatoes drenched in a delightful sauce. On the menu, this dish goes by the name "Fresh Catch." As the bartender informed me, on that day, it showcased the brilliance of Redfish, or perhaps Red Snapper. Regardless, the chef is truly a culinary maestro.
I tried the chicken dish with risotto, and I was nervous to try new food. It was made to perfection. Perfect portion, perfectly cooked and very well balanced.
There were two bartenders, both of whom didn't pay us much attention after our food was served. I also ordered a drink that never came. But once again, the food and the cocktails were tasty.
Last nite in siesta key and boy did we make an amazing choice! If karma is on your side, you will most certainly will be graced with Katie as your server. Tons of local knowledge for the asking. Also perfectly willing to hang back and give you space. Food is also amazing! 5 of 5 would come back and recommend!
Our party of four enjoyed dinner at Clayton's. Casey was our waitress, and she helped make recommendations. For appetizers, we selected crab cakes and calamari. Both were good. Three of the four of us ordered the grouper, it was very good. The salmon was the other entree that was ordered. Our friend said it was delicious. The pound cake and key lime pie were our choices for dessert. We were all very happy with our dinner choices. Overall the experience was great. Highly recommend giving Claytons a try.
The food was great and our server was wonderful. He made the evening even better with his great service. Highly recommend the calamari appetizer and the grouper entree.

I had a ceasar salad for dinner and it was pretty good, but I had the dark chocolate torte for dessert and it was soooooo good. I’m always looking for a new type of chocolate dessert and it was literally incredible. The raspberry sauce made it taste even better and it felt super fancy. They also have complimentary bread and the butter that came with it was delicious.
3rd time to the key but first time at Clayton’s. Very friendly staff, food was out quickly (we ate a later dinner). My mom got the bisque (said it was amazing) and I got the special soup of the day. We both got the Clayton salad and it was nice and refreshing. Left enough room for the key lime pie which was delicious! Tart but the whip cream on the side complimented it. Very affordable meal.
Amazing food and atmosphere. I had the macadamia crusted grouper and it was delicious. Large portions too and very fresh. The mojito was also very good. My husband had the fresh catch which was the Caribbean snapper and it also was delicious. Sam was our server and she was super friendly. Try to ask for her!
