Sunnyside Cafe - Sarasota - Photo album

Ate here 3 times on my 5 night visit. Breakfast (Hungarian Porkchops) was out of this world good, had the Goulash for lunch, outstanding, and the scallops with wild mushroom risotto and bone marrow for dinner- phenomenal!! Go here early and often!
We were looking for a lunch spot near Ringling. Sunshine Cafe had good reviews so we checked it out. Nice menu, very clean, very good service. I had the chicken panini and my husband had the burger. Plent of food, nothing pre-made. Eva was on the premises. Definitely worth checking out. PS the ligh
Tried for the first time on Friday at 6pm. We went for dinner and there was plenty of open seating. It’s like an upper scale diner connected to lower scale motel living. The place is very charming inside and everyone was quite friendly. We ordered the scallops (which was very delicious), and the Gre
My favorite Hungarian though not only Hungarian Restaurant. I craved for Goulash soup that comes with home made pita. First freshly sqeezed orange juice, that shamefully not many places offer right here in Florida. The rich soup filled me up so I took home a slice of delicious Hungarian Esterhazy To
We had breakfast here and the service and food was great! Lots of choices including a hot tea menu! The service was exceptional. Will definitely be back.
This is a hidden gem. Had dinner twice. Excellent the best grilled Octopus ever had. Bone marrow perfectly seasoned. Every dish cooked fresh from scratch. Veal schnitzel enough for 2. Scallops perfectly done. We were from out of town and just happened upon this restaurant - what a find.
Cute, local spot. We ate breakfast here on a Saturday morning, it wasn't too busy when we arrived but started to pick up by the time we left. The restaurant has lovely outdoor seating spaces with arbors and umbrellas. The inside seating was very comfortable too. I wasn't sure about the chairs when
Food is so fresh and made to order ! We went 2 days in a row it was so good. People are so friendly and wonderful.
Went to brunch today at this cute little cafe and was not disappointed! I had the greek lamb burger and it was excellent! The inside of the cafe is a bit small but it had some outdoor seating as well. The service was okay, pretty average, and the pork was a little dry, but overall it was a great vis
I loved this place! Fresh and delicious food! The best Hungarian goulash (I am sorry, mom).
Breakfast was good. A bit overpriced for simple breakfast. Service was great, very pleasant and helpful staff.
We've been coming to Sunnyside for 6 or 7 years now. We visit Sarasota several times a year, and lately have been staying near the airport so we're within easy walking distance of Sunnyside. Usually come for breakfast, but have had great experiences for lunch and dinner too. Chef Tamas is a master a
We sat outside and had a lovely meal. Hungarian run the place and they have great goulash and paprikash.
Stopped in today for a bite to eat while in the the area. Tried their special today Eggs Benedict with bacon, spinach and goat cheese. It was delicious! Loved my meal and will be back again when I'm passing through!
Awesome food and nice service! They have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. We' ve been there for dinner and would love to come back for breakfast. A delight after days of American fast food.
Looking for delicious French toast? Here's the place. We had the Vermont maple syrup to go with our French toast....yummy! There's an outdoor seating area which is pet friendly. The serve dinner here as well.
Best breakfast we have had in years! The ambience is delightful. Katie was our attentive waitress. She was pleasant, kind, and is an excellent communicator. The coffee was delicious. Meals were incredible. We seriously talked about moving to Sarasota so we could be regular customers here! If you're
