I must say we had the absolute best dinner at Cafe Gabbiano! My wife (Devon Carr Davis) and I just happen to arrive at 5:01 p.m. last night and the staff was already operating like they had been open all day. We we're greeted by a very cordial young lady named, Kate who allowed us our choice of a private table. Inside the restaurant, I found it be very clean and charming with the multitude of wine selections and bottles literally surrounding you in all directions. Our waiter, Jordan Adams was very professional and well versed with the menu, wine selections, and specials. Jordan and his assistant kept our beverages, and hot bread (delicious) basket full. I had the fresh lobster ravioli and it did not disappoint, while Devon had a shellfish variety dish with homemade linguine that was prepared to perfection. We finished off with the homemade key lime pie, which was scrumptious, with the only exception that I would note is leaving the lime zest off, because it truly overpowered the pie itself. Bravo to the Chef, and the owner Marc Grimaud, who Devon presented with a Trip Advisor "Excellent Service Award" for Jordan Adams! Kate, the hostess, bid us a good evening and asked for us to return, which we will with friends in-tow. Highly Recommend!!!
What a great place to spend my last night in Florida! The food was delicious and our waiter Vinny was the best. Did a great job describing the entres!! Spent over two hours there and didn’t feel rushed! Loved the place!
I am a 1st generation Italian and I think Cafe Gabbiano’s was one of the finest Italian restaurants I’ve eaten at in a long time. Especially the risotto! The ambiance and our waiter made it a very pleasant dining experience!
WOW!!! I had the Filet Mignon with fresh veggies and rice it was amazing!!! The meat was so perfectly cooked it melted in my mouth! Awesome staff I'd be a regular if I lived in Florida! A definite MUST place to eat!!
Food was phenomenal! My husband and I had christmas early dinner here... We started with a calamari appetizer with marinara sauce. It was so good! We shared a ceasar salad, For the main course I had veal parm on a bone and it was delicious it melted in my mouth. My husband had 7 fish with pasta. He enjoyed every bite. No desert or coffee. I took home half of my Veal...can't wait to have my leftovers tomorrow!
The food is absolutely amazing! The staff is great & very accommodating to a party w/ children. The Parmesan Risotto is to die for!
My Husband came here for the first time last night. We had no idea what to expect, but it was amazing. The service was wonderful, our waiter was polite, and gave us great service. The food tasted absolutely fantastic and the wine! We’ll definitely be back!!

This is BY FAR our favorite restaurant in town! The food is divine and the staff is always attentive and professional. I would give it 10 stars if I could. If you are looking to enjoy a memorable evening with delicious food - don't go anywhere else.
We did our wedding reception there for a group of 21. Peter was great to work with in planning the event. And the staff did a great job with preparing and serving the food.
We’ve had a few meals there prior to our reception and the food and service have always been top-notch. We make sure to eat there every time we’re in the area.
Like eating in an old Tuscan wine cellar. Service was excellent and the food the best. Brought many people there for dinner and no one leaves disappointed.

Another above average Italian restaurant in Siesta Key.
As an appetizer, My wife had a pear salad which was soaked in white wine, cinnamon and goat cheese. Something I wished I tried. We both had veal entrees. (Milanese and Parmigiana). Very thin and tender.
Great service, great food and cosy feel to the restaurant.
My husband and I went here for dinner when we were visiting his family in Florida.the food was delicious and the team were very sensitive to our dietary restrictions. My husband and I are GF,DF and red meat free which makes it difficult often in restaurants. Jessica looked after us, being very clear on which options we could have and how the menu could be adapted.
We had the mussels and grilled calamari for appetisers and the the salmon special for dinner with a side of fries and veggies!
Food was delicious! Would recommend if you are in Siesta Keys
Wow!! Simply amazing! We had great service with Suri, Mike, and one other amazing young lady (I forgot her name). The garlic bread with melted cheese was divine. We loved our house salad with arugula and balsamic vinaigrette dressing. My husband had the delicious Linguine Pescatora, and I had the filet mignon which was loaded with delicious mushrooms, along with sautéed spinach. We had an incredible chocolate ice-cream dessert which paired beautifully with their superb chocolate martini!! What an epic meal!! We can't wait to go back again. Thank you!!
Delicious meals!! Orders lasagna and chicken parmigiana. My girlfriend said the best chicken parmigiana. Restaurant could use a little updating of dining area but otherwise, you won’t be disappointed.

Cafe Gabbiano in Tampa, FL is a cozy spot for a delightful lunch. The atmosphere is charming, perfect to have a great time with friends and family. The service was attentive, and the food was delicious. I had a lovely time enjoying their pasta dishes, especially the flavorsome sauces. The portions were just right, and the desserts were divine. A great place for a relaxing and tasty lunch!
I am writing this review because of the AMAZING service that we received from the manager Chris and crew. My wife and I were on our 1st wedding anniversary with our 3 month old son. Chris went out of his way to accommodate us and was able to create an experience for us that was memorable. Robby our server was attentive, pleasant, and a pleasure to have. I can't say enough about how a few gestures by Chris and Robby made this one of the best experiences I have ever had. Thank you Chris! Thank you Robby! My wife and I are truly greatful!

Jessica was Amazing & Attentive. Pear Sadad is to die for. Truffle & Cheese Ravioli was Incredible Rich & Tasty. Highly recommend Cafe Gabbiano.
Stopped in for dinner during our trip to Siesta Key. Food was good and service was friendly and quick. The portions were filling and left us with no room for dessert. Great selection of wines either by the bottle or glass.
The food was FANTASTIC! The best I've had in the area! Service could have been a tad better as I had to refill our Proseco & water glasses, ask for another bottle of water for the table & app plates weren't al removed. But the food was the star & worth the visit here. Our plates were so full we all had take home boxes for a redo the next night.
