Very nice outside atmosphere. There was alot going on but the foot traffic wasn't bad at all. The service was excellent. The food, well the chicken salad croissant wasn't very good. There was absolutely no seasoning of any kind. The coleslaw salad wasn't very good either. The lobster and crab bisque was great thought. The other two dishes were also very good.

An excellent meal and service! The stone crab was amazing, as well as the dip that came out with our oysters. We got our Apple Tatin a la Mode to go, and it was still perfect when we got back to our hotel. This is our number one recommendation for anyone visiting Sarasota and wanting the best food! We’ll definitely be returning. The pineapple chocolate slices were the best little treat on our way out!

It is rare that I give a 5-star review to anything. Especially to a restaurant and more specifically to a seafood restaurant. I have eaten a lot of good seafood meals in a lot of locations around the world. I have also eaten a few really good seafood meals. And among those few really good seafood meals...there are even fewer of them that were outstanding. This was one of those outstanding meals. Not only was it a pleasure to dine in this restaurant, it is a pleasure to remember having been there. I highly recommend Crab & Fin.

Excellent, fresh seafood and good drinks. Highly recommend the Wahoo! It was perfect. Get it with green beans and risotto. Those were wonderful as well. the salmon looked excellent too. Really everything was good!

Arrived around 5pm. The hostess was very nice and seated us immediately. Our wait staff arrived and we all requested water because it was very hot out. She brought water than left. Finally arrived back, got a partial drink order, and left again. When she arrived after 3rd time, we were able to ask questions and order our food. After that, the food was amazing. Clam Chowder was the best I've ever had. Scallops were fresh and cooked to perfection. Braised shory ribs were top notch along with filet.

With so many wonderful choices, we could not decide on entrees. We decided to sample a variety of small plates. We started with the oyster sampler of a dozen oysters from three different regions. We then enjoyed a delicious bowl of gazpacho. We finished with grilled Portuguese octopus and PEI mussels. Combine that with excellent service, and it was a wonderful experience.

Surf and turf was good but warning the crab legs came ice cold I was not expecting that, unfortunately my mashed potatoes were also cold and my medium steak was definitely medium well. The crab cake appetizer was delicious, others surf and turf with lobster was very good. Salmon was good, crab claws very good. We would not recommend the shrimp scampi, very plain. Clam chowder was very good, and my husband loved the Low Country dish. Service was average for an upscale restaurant not super friendly.

Nice spot for our anniversary dinner. Started with cocktails at the bar. Vodka martini and Manhattan. Both were made well but I was a little surprised they did not have Bulliet Rye or Basil Hayden. Used Angels Envy for the Manhattan instead. The bar only seats about 8 people and they have a happy hour menu that we were to late to try. After a short 30 minute we got a nice table outside which is on a first come first serve basis. John the waiter was efficient and did not rush us throughout the meal. I had the shrimp Cocktail and had to order more horse radish as the cocktail sauce was not very spicy. My partner got the crab cake and bisque which had a very good flavor and chunks of seafood and a salad for dinner. The bisque could have been a little warmer but still good. For dinner I had the whole snapper which was excellent. A few bones along the way easily navigated. No desert as we were both full.

Always have a great experience here! For the first, I ate inside because of the heat. The menu is updated daily. Today, my friend & I both enjoyed the GF Mahi tacos. The fish was fresh, presentation great & our server Katie was seamless & attentive.

Our first visit to St Armands. A friend recommended Crab and Fin. I had the Wahoo ceviche and the Wahoo entree. Would have preferred more vegetables, but the fish and service were divine. Pleasant weather made the patio a delight.

From the minute we walked through the door, until we left, this was a fantastic dining experience! The hostess (Greer?) was so friendly and personable and quickly seated us at our preferred table. Our server KG was amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable and provided excellent service. She quickly brought us waters and a smoked fish dip with crackers to start. The wines by the glass menu was extensive and impressive. Far Niente and Plumpjack by the glass? Yes. We started with the Martha’s Vineyard salad and stone crab claws for an appetizer. Crab & Fin has an extensive raw bar menu. For mains we chose the Chilean sea bass and fresh swordfish. Both were presented beautifully with fresh herbs and vegetables. The fish was cooked to absolute perfection. We cleaned our plates with those delicious sauces. For dessert we chose the peanut butter pie which was fabulous. Served cold and with an Oreo crust it was the perfect ending. With little touches like a warm napkin and lemon wedge after our stone crab, incredible service and amazing fresh seafood this is one of new favorite restaurants in all of Sarasota. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Not every place should get a 5 star rating, in my opinion. It must go above and beyond in all facets of the dining experience, and this place hits the mark. Great service, delicious offerings and wonderful presentation of the dishes. Many different varieties of fresh seafood, blended with individual flavors, most that seem unique to Crab & Fin. Our server was polite and professional. Everything was fresh, wonderful ambiance and we were delighted to have such a wonderful dining experience.

This is the best restaurant in Sarasota (St. Armands Circle) hands down. The menu is fantastic and full of local seafood options. Lunch, brunch, and dinner are all amazing. You do not get stuck with the standard Florida restaurant menu that so many places have.... There is no Grouper wrap here..... We went this time for brunch and I had the grilled octopus salad and the stone crab. Both were perfect and the crab was not over cooked. The wine list has great choices and many pair perfectly with the seafood. There is a piano player on the sidewalk playing jazz classics, and the profit starting makes you feel like you are in a cafe on the French Riviera.

One of the best dining experiences we have ever been able to have. The service from the reservations to our waiter were excellent. Staff truly knows and understands the quality meaning of customer service. The fish and shellfish are locally sourced, and the menu changes daily. Our waiter recommended the stone crab claws, oyster tasting (3 different sets of oysters, 6 total), and the sushi grade yellowfin tuna. All were excellent and beyond what we were expecting. If you are a martini aficionado, I highly recommend a dry grey goose martini with blue cheese stuffed olives to accompany the raw selection. This will be our go-to spot when in the area from now on.
