I'm not a vegan but was looking for lunch downtown and decided to try this place, based on the interesting menu posted outside. Had bean tostadas with guacamole and pickled cabbage, a unique combination that was really flavorful. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, as well as knowledgeable about the menu. The owner or manager was also very pleasant, stopping at our table to make sure everything was to our liking. Cool, creative place that you should try even if you're not a vegan.
Amazing place offering clean and delicious menu items. The zucchini linguine with pesto were incredible! Also, try the raw chocolate tart! So so good! Thank you Arthur for finally bringing this concept to our city! Cannot wait to try the "burger" � And the service/staff were so friendly!! �
Ate here yesterday for the first time and had an excellent experience. I found this restaurant while searching for vegetarian options in Sarasota and decided to give it a try. The restaurant itself is cleanly designed with an "open" kitchen concept. Menu options were plentiful and everything sounded delicious. It was hard to pick just one thing for lunch but I ended up going with the Summer Bowl! Mark, my server was polite and attentive! Can't wait to return and try something new!
Came all the way from Port Charlotte to Sarasota to have a vegan lunch. Was not disappointed with the food or service. One suggestion, enjoyed the tropical iced tea, delicious with no added sweetener, however wish it came in a larger glass at 5 bucks per glass. Will definitely be visiting again! Had the Buddha bowl, amazing!!
Great addition (and something different) to Main St. A vegan friendly place where both carnivores and vegans can enjoy a meal together without compromise. They even have pretty good options for the gluten sensitive folks. Enjoyed the Macro Bowel and Veg. Burger for dinner and good wine choices. I'll be back and might even check out the happy hour offering next time.
Great food! With so few vegan restaurant options, it's good to have a place that makes such good food. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere.
My cardiologist has "encouraged" me to explore a plant based diet...Lila was a great dining experience as I "transition" down that path.

Diane doesn't particularly like red meat so we were already focused on fish (easy here in FL) and chicken with slots of fruit and vegetables (also easy here in FL)

This place is on point. The best restaurant I've eaten at in Sarasota. Great service, clean and an excellent selection of Kombucha.
The food is fresh and tasty, the service exceptional. As a vegetarian it was good to have so many choices! Try the desserts they are amazing. As a new Sarasota resident, it’s great to find such a gem!
We were there on 9/30/16, no reservation, it was PACKED, and full of good energy! We were seated at the bar, which was very fun, watching all the chefs prepare the meals. I am vegan and my husband is not, so I am VERY excited to have a place to go for delicious food satisfying both palates. Asian stir fry, and soba noodles both dishes knocked it out of the park! Homemade tofu was to die for, cooked to perfection. Roasted tomato appetizer, also de-lish! We will be back and highly recommend.
We came here to celebrate my wife's birthday and were so happy to find such wonderful vegan options. We are already planning our return trip if for no other reason than to have that amazing vegan dessert. Service was fantastic and the entire experience was wonderful. Keep up the great work. We appreciate you as there are so few vegan places here.

Really well thought out menu and dishes. It all tastes like its designed by someone who honestly loves the food (esp. vegetables). We don't go anywhere else for dinner while visiting Sarasota.
Delicious vegan food with lots of options. Fair prices and good portions. Nice atmosphere and good service. Never had a complaint about this place and we have been eating here for years.

The blueberry cashew cheesecake had seed granola as the base giving a nice crunch. The dessert was 10/10 and I am not a blueberry fan😁

The restaurant was a nice laid back atmosphere. Our waiter was great, he explained the menu and gave us great suggestions. I ordered the Burmese bowl which was very bland at first but the waiter brought out some fish sauce that brought the dish to life. The presentation of the food was very nice. The food was pretty pricey but I guess that’s the price you pay for healthy clean eating.

I love to share my food experience with other people, as local guide I write reviews and share photos of the best restaurants, bakeries, pizzerias and caffes I have tried during my world trips. I travel a lot and it allows me to try many places in US and abroad. Especially I love to try vegetarian dishes, even I’m not 100%, but only about 80% vegetarian.
Surprisedly I found this very nice place almost next to my house in Sarasota. It’s not so easy to find restaurant with a very good sushi, colorful and 100% vegan in such small town like Sarasota.

The vegan sushi was just outstanding.... Thank you for the creativity! The flavors were amazing...even to my carnivore friend...he said he woke up thinking about it 😁😁 The Burmese bowl needed a LOT LOT of added things to make it flavorful but finally got there in the end. As for service ....try not to get Snarky Sean. He literally sucked the whole time and was so completely unpleasant. Ambience is absolutely lovely and I love the food and menu concept a lot : here's a bunch of amazing plant based food and you can add a protein if you must .😉 Only other note ....can't wait for inflation to go down and make healthy food more affordable. But thank you for the delicious option. ♥️
Beautiful restaurant with a great open atmosphere. Server had wonderful suggestions and very pleasant. Lovely culinary presentation and many vegan options with great play on ingredients, creative, flavorful, and tastes fresh. We will definitely be back!
I visited Lila with my family and a friend and we all loved our meals. We started with the brussels sprouts and the hearts of palm cake. For my main, I had the Chef roll special which was perhaps the best vegan roll I've ever had. Somehow Chef made it taste like crab! Also pictured is the orricheto with basil pesto, and desserts (vegan apple pie which was on special that night) and the vegan chocolate mousse cake.
What a great night we had at Lila! 😍 The food is high quality, you certainly can tell! The waitress was really kind and provided an amazing service. We did not have a reservation and were placed to the bar, which wasn't too comfortable to be honest. However, we asked to be move if they had the chance to do so, and they did! Our new spot was cozy, and super comfortable. Every item (vegan) we ordered was fantastic: Sushi, burger, med bowl, and cheesecake! Bring us all the vegan food!!!! We reserved our spot for the following week, while still being there. That's how good it was. The world need more restaurant like this one.
I picked this restaurant for my birthday because I saw they had plenty vegetarian/ vegan options for not so expensive. The food tasted amazing, nothing was too sweet or too salty like usual restaurant food. The ambience was lovely with tablecloth and real flowers. Another bonus is that you can download an app and play your own music in the restaurant! Service was perfect. I left the restaurant feeling light and happy. Excellent job !
Food was great! Some menu items are a bit more polished and delicious than others but overall it's well thought out and enjoyable. Service is great and atmosphere is warm and inviting. My husband and I LOVE the cauliflower starter. :)
Amazing grass fed bison burger , their hummus and pita was delicious as well. Definitely my go to place when I’m in Sarasota

Excellent food served with a very nice presentation. Very knowledgeable, courteous and friendly wait staff. We arrived early in the evening so there was no wait time for a table. The kitchen was on the ball too & got the meal out quickly.
The restaurant is neat organized & super clean. Decorated in a modern but relaxed atmosphere. They have professional photos of vegetables.
Rest room very clean also. 👌

Wonderful lunch experience. The rice tots are MIND BLOWING. I loved them so much, why doesn't more places offer this?? I enjoyed the kimchi bowl that was offered.

The decor was lovely and comfortable and the service was attentive and kind.
I’ve never dined at a restaurant that specialized in Vegan food and I was pleasantly surprised with the yummy non-vegan options. The mint tea was extremely powerful as described and tasted delightful. The eggs Benedict was very tasteful and the tomato soup was the best we ever had. A very clean and nicely done restaurant. Our new fav in SRQ!

This place is amazing! Friendly staff, great service, beautiful atmosphere, and modern design! I'm vegan and it's always a little bit hard to find a really good place to eat for me and have lots of options. My husband found this place for my birthday surprise dinner! We found that they change their menu every two weeks. Their menu is pretty big and it's a good place not just for vegans or vegetarians because you can add plenty of side options to your email (from eggs, chicken to seafood and etc). They also prepared the best vegan chocolate cake I've ever had! Really! And I'm a really picky person! The only one thing I would love to add - a little bit more options with big green salad options, not just small appetizers options. Thank you for the place like this!
Amazing place to go if you are vegan, vegetarian, or gluten free. We ordered the rice tater tots (must try), the Bbq tofu roll, the crispy crab roll, and blueberry cheesecake. My favorite was the cheesecake!! It was creamy and delicious. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly.
I love Lila! Hope to try everything but so far the Brussels sprouts are my fave, followed by the Tofu Reuben, and the Mushroom Burger is awesome too, all exceptional. It's nice that it's majority vegan and you can take your meathead friends there with menu items for them on the grass fed, free range side; I'm sure they'll love it too.
