The food was good. And for a Friday night, the service was okay as well. Parking was tight. I had to park in front of the gun store. I'd suggest checking for refills and paying at the table instead of standing in line at the front register. Just our luck, a large table got in line just before us! And they each had their own tab! But the orders were correct and came out in a timely manner. In my opinion, with other similar restaurants, I can get a little bit better quality dishes with more pampering during the dinner service.
Hands down the best pizza place in Sarasota. My family loves coming here. We drive across town for the excellent pizza, the excellent customer service, and the small cozy family restaurant feel. You can't go wrong with the meat lovers pizza. My kids would have me bring them here 7 days a week if I could. Adults grab a glass a wine or chilled beer with your pizza and enjoy a family dinner.
We love this local place. They have been around for years. The long term staff and family are always welcoming. The food never disappoints.
We stopped here at the start of our vacation in Siesta Key (we are from NC). The pizza was delicious with fresh ingredients and the wait staff was so sweet and personal. They actually brought us the wrong pizza and ended up giving us that one for free after bringing us the correct one. We also loved the praise and worship music that was playing. It was such a nice lunch experience for us and we would highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

This restaurant has been a staple in Sarasota for at least 40 years. The atmosphere is very casual and clean. The owners / hosts are super friendly and very cordial. The staff is very fast and knows the menu cold. I especially like the lunch specials where you can get a salad, pizza and a drink for a reasonable price. The one main thing is if you don't eat lunch or dinner there, you have to try the desserts. The amaretto ice cream truffle ball is ridiculous. One of the best desserts in town for a family friendly restaurant. Thanks for reading this.
Loved it wonderful food and a wonderful atmosphere and waiter I recommend there cheese pizza but the eggplant Parmesan was good 5 the portions are generous we all had leftovers
Been coming to this location for 20+ years. It is an institution! The pizza is by far the best pizza in town, so great in fact, that I will take some to go back to Venice.

Great pizza, great service, and enjoyable dining experience! After a long day at Siesta Key Beach we found this place online and made the short drive. We ordered the large supreme pizza and it was brought to our table hot and fresh. The toppings were plentiful and we left fat, happy, and with leftovers!
I love dimitrios because they have an option for gluten-free on their menu. More restaurants should offer gluten-free.
My son and I were visiting from out of town. My son's favorite food is pizza so we have tried countless pizza places living in the northeast. This was hands down the best pizza my son and I had ever had! My son will comment on the sauce first. If he doesn't like the sauce he won't finish the pizza. From the first bite, he was silent (that in itself is a big deal!) and continued to eat the rest of the pizza. It was amazing! The service was awesome. The interior felt welcoming like you were dining at someone's house. We loved this place!
This restaurant has been part of a family tradition for years. On one occasion there was an old couple causing a scene because our party had kids. The staff were amazing and dealt with the situation so professionally. Most importantly though, their pizza and pasta is amazing!!!
