Everything is good. They use Boars Head, so you know it's top quality. Food cane fast. Very good!
I've never been to Southside Deli before, didn't even know it existed. Driven by it thousands of times but, well, no excuses.
So when I found myself with a hungry tummy and a desire for a good sandwich, I didn't expect Google to show me a place a block from SMH.

Good quality was actually really great and you can taste that it’s fresh! The staff was very friendly and inviting. The hot sandwiches are delicious and we got the Gelato which was excellent and made in house. Definitely recommend
Can honestly say this is the #1 deli in Sarasota. The atmosphere is so clean and welcoming as is the staff. Always greeted with a smile and a pleasant welcome. Good spot to stop in for ice cream and snacks. We came with a large group and the gelato was really good. It’s in a good location but a bit off of 41. Great outdoor seating as well. Stop in if you are in the area.

This place has great food! I got a patty melt with fries and it was delicious. My whole party enjoyed their sandwiches. We got crumb cake and a milkshake for dessert, which were tasty too. Nice atmosphere and clean.

Everyone working there was super nice. My sandwich was served quickly. I wasn't super impressed with the NY corned beef. Rye bread was awesome but the slaw and 1000 island dressing we're mediocre at best.
