Update: Dropped into Sophie’s with some out of town friends. Ditto on the previous review! The service team from the Manager Mark welcomed us back, definitely a nice touch. We went to Sophie’s for lunch. Definitely a favourite. Hadn’t been back due to the Covid open/close routine. In a word the food is DELICIOUS! Staff are amazing. Mark runs a great operation. Pics DON’T do the food justice. Ya gotta check this place out.
Hidden in Saks 5th Ave, great place to unwind from Shopping at the UTC Mall
Sophie's at Saks is a real gem. If you are looking for a cozy place to grab a delicious bite, that could double as artwork. The kitchen is amazing with the combinations and variety of menu options. The wait staff is attentive to your every need, and make miracles happen. Save a little room for the bread pudding, even if you have to take it to go.
The Avenue is the best burger I've ever eaten...the texture of the meat and the accompaniments were perfect, the onions sweet, the tomato just right and the cheddar amazing. The truffle fries were very good too. My friend had the beet and burrata salad which was very good too.
We had lunch. Everything was delicious. Service was 5 star. We enjoyed the special of day appetizer with baked brie, then sandwiches: lobster panini, and curried chicken, craft cocktails, proseco. Children’s menu was much better than typical. Kids loved the sliders. Very thoughtful service for the children. We travel extensively with dining at fine restaurants and we are critical foodies. We will return here frequently.
This is luxury dining but, believe me, treat yourself. I took cleopatra to lunch here and it was scrumptious. Waitstaff was very friendly and accommodating.
Wonderful experience! Excellent atmosphere, service, and food! The burger was delicious. My wife and I had the truffle fries, and started off outside with a great glass of “Rainstorm” white wine from Oregon.

Very easy to find on the 2nd floor Of Saks. Great atmosphere with a large outside patio that also includes a bar. Food is delicious and the drinks were perfect. Great place for a date, brunch or just to grab a drink.
Great service, good flavored salad, all staff wore masks, cleaned table & chairs between customers...enjoyable atmosphere!
