I have eaten here many times 5stars- pizza is wonderful & staff is always helpful. Tonight I planned a takeout meal- my order took more than normally expected. Hopefully it was because they were slammed with deliveries & large orders. The restaurant was not overly busy but remember they found a way to make it better by giving free desserts with my order. I was not over happy about the long wait but again the staff stepped up without me asking for anything- that is service. See next time👍
Authentic Italian pizza and pasta right here! The food was AMAZING, and tasted just look food I've had in Rome. Portions were huge, and I will easily have 3 meals out of my 1 dish!! Five stars for food. It was also empty at 2:30 on Sunday afternoon so great find! I held back on five stars simply because we had to get our own silverware off another table since the server didn't check back in with us after receiving our food, and the music was a bit odd for an Italian place (current hits with too much explicit language for my liking).
Went in this morning to finally try Rico's as it's talked about so much on social media. Delish!!! I ordered 2 different slices and both were fantastic. Loved that there was minimal sodium tasting on the pizza. They have gluten free and cauliflower pizza crust too so we will be back for that.
I am in heaven right now. I just stopped here and got a chicken sandwich with roasted peppers and jalapenos, and the cheese Pull is out of this world.
The fries are seasoned and I got some chocolate dipped cookies.♥️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😍 The staff is super sweet and helpful♥️ Everyone in there is super cool💯🌞
What a little gem of a place. We were visiting the States from the UK and we had ride out to Venice and stopped at this place on the way back to our villa. Amazing food, huge portion sizes, great with the kids, we took most of it away with us! Reasonable prices too. Even made something not on the menu for one of the kids who is fussier than the others and he loved it!
Wow.. where to start... I was in the area looking for pizza.. this shows first on the list.. we we weren't disappointed! Walked in got a seat waiter was right there.. now you know when one says "we have the best...." You think okay... Well he was correct... Everything made in house... Very tasty and prices were not bad either... Definitely come here for pizza!
The pizza here in excellent. Every time we are in Sarasota or even close by, we will go out of our way to get the pizza here! Excellent!
Had pizza delivery to our office a few weeks ago & sadly it wasn’t the greatest.. Today gave em another shot & So Happy we did. Knocked it out of the park! Pizza was amazing & delivered HOT! It’s now dinner time & im still thinking how great lunch was. Delivery Guy was super sweet, even gave us plates! Thank You Bay rd Rico’s !!
Great pizza! Ordered 5 pizzas 2 weekends ago! Delivery driver did a great job making sure we were takin care of! Buffalo chicken pizza was awesome!
I went to Rico’s tonight for dinner and I want to compliment how the girls handled a situation tonight that I witnessed. I heard them getting yelled at by a customer over a price issue meanwhile another table yelling at the girls for talking to their customers, doing their JOB! I must say you can’t make everyone happy, but the the girl with the glasses who handled the unrealistic customers was very professional. I even got up to joke with her about it because I saw she was upset from being talked to like that not once, but twice. I’m sorry, but it’s noisy in any restaurant and if you don’t want to hear people talking, go eat at home or outside. It’s simple. Aside from that, the food was fantastic and the service was impeccable. All 3 girls working were very attractive, attentive, and smiling. Kudos to whoever made the cellphone rule at Rico’s! Job well done ladies and sorry you had to experience terrible customers tonight! You handled that well. I’ll be back :) Robert
This was so good, the pizza crust Is delicious, I'm not a big fan of pizza tails but I ate these ones! It was so well balanced! I ordered the Arugula personal pizza, and my mom ordered the penne with the vodka sauce. That sauce was amazing! Staff was so friendly and helpful and I felt like this was a home away from home.
It is worth every penny to come here and enjoy delicious food! 💕💕
It seems like every time I go to Ricos I always get the new girl that just started that week. He’s having a hard time hanging on the people. I guess it’s widespread throughout the industry but fortunately it’s not affecting the quality of the food. The food still good he just might have to wait longer than you should to get the food so before one. Don’t go too Hungry.
Went here for lunch today. They've been here for 30 years and nothings changed...Still great. Had the lunch special 2 slices and a soda for $10. The special is less money but I added the sausage. They also gave me some pasta sauce on the side so I could dip my crust. I requested this. Place is clean and the service was excellent. Daniel and Sue took great care of me. I've pretty much had everything on the menu but my faves are the meatball & veal subs. For the money you can't go wrong here.
Our favorite pizzeria in Sarasota. You can enjoy anything from pizza to pasta and anything in between. Salads are always cold and so fresh. Pizza cooked to perfection. Always fantastic service with a smile and very attentive. We love it here!
People were nice, the food was absolutely delicious!! We got a margarita pizza, Brischetta and a Caesar salad. They were all amazing and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Among the best pizza you can have in Sarasota. Always consistent. Service was pretty good in the evening rush. They had a birthday party and a homeless guy to contend with so I appreciate the effort.
