What the heck just happened? I went into a Greek restaurant expecting some fairly typical fare and a pleasant evening... oh wait, look at that, they have a bouzouki player, how nice! We get dinner and some music! Atmosphere: So we order our appetizers and some drinks, and the restaurant is a bit on the loud side, but... hold on, it's getting louder, and now they're playing some dance music? Oh, it's Zorba the Greek! Sure enough, the waiters and waitresses line up and do a dance around the restaurant, but what I never saw coming was another worker running around tossing LITERALLY HANDFULS of cocktail napkins in the air. It's raining napkins, and now the napkin guy is carrying out a stack of plates... and yeah, he's smashing them! What on Earth is going on? We're not done yet? Nope, here comes a belly-dancer, a birthday, more napkins, etc. I wasn't drinking alcohol, but now I wish I was. The atmosphere was energetic, fun, and way beyond anything I could have expected. That's just the environment; what about the food? Food: Everything we ate that saw a grill was amazing - that includes the souvlaki and octopus. You could taste the charcoal, and everything was cooked beautifully. The pork was tender and juicy, and the octopus was just awesome. For dessert we had a heavily cinnamon-laced baklava, and it was great too, with a cinnamon ice cream. I avoided ordering anything I normally would, but I'm excited to go back and try new things. Service: aside from the noise making it harder to talk to and hear our waitress, it was wonderful. She had refills on the table at the right moment, was friendly and helpful, and was otherwise unobtrusive. Great job! Overall, an amazing experience. It was fun, a little outrageous, and exciting. Food was reasonable priced and delicious, and the service was great. We'll absolutely come back soon.

We are so happy they open this restaurant in Sarasota! It’s still 30 min from us but it’s much closer then St.Pete location! We tried our favorite Green Salad and the appetizer platter! The portions are so big - it was a lot for me and my husband! The service was good and fast enough... a lot of young girls were working.. but all of them were nice and kind! The place looks for me personally better - new style and more light and sun! We are pretty happy 😃 with this opening !

I've got to say I am very impressed with this place. The service was great, the atmosphere was great and the food was great. Simply put the taste matched the presentation. Acropolis, you now have a new customer... I can't wait to go back. Friday night is a must go... the entertainment is great. This place has moved towards the top of my favorites list.

Pros: large serving sizes, tasty flavorful food, good service, fun atmosphere -staff mini dancing, napkin throwing, plate braking ever hour. Highly recommend the spin artechoke appetizer & flaming cheese dip. Cons: the grilled chicken kabob was dry. Seating arrangment/ tables too close together.

Hands down.. best Greek spot in town! The location is very convenient and the staff are very nice. Happy hour was great pricing for drinks and very tasty drinks! I tried the gyro platter which was enough for two meals! Wife had the meatballs and little guy had he grilled chicken. We all shared and loved the food. The dancing and singing with plate smashing was a cool touch!! Can’t wait to go back!

Came for a Birthday Celebrationand had lots of fun. Great casual atmosphere, every hour server's dance, sing, and throw napkins. Stuffed Grape Leaves/Dolmades and Baklava are some of the best I have tried. The Greek salad though was disappointing and not my favorite. The dressing was on the sweeter side, and we prefer more of a vinegar flavored Greek dressing.

huge portions here! Excellent service and great seating. Daniel was our server and was exceptionally friendly. He even went the extra mile to put some ice in a bag so our food was kept cool in the car while we shopped afterwards. I would recommend splitting the souvlaki platters though, they come with 3 skewers of meat.
