all the food we chose were very good. our waiter was extremely busy but he still did a good job with getting everything out and was extremely helpful when we asked questions about the menus/our other requests. the food was well seasoned and very tasty. both the corn and flour tortillas were house made and very fresh. if you ask for the spicy sauce beware that it is really spicy. overall, i would come again

Arrived at 0830 on Sunday and it was empty. Mexican radio station playing. Nice ambiance. Ordered Mexican omelette with a side of mole. Partner ordered Mexican Americana eggs with corn tortillas. The bakery and store moved across street and rumor they may expand restaurant into that space. IDK. Brought a basket of home fried tortilla chips with a mild yellow sauce. Beans only no rice. Our choice. Very good beans! Just the right spices. Huge portions. Side of rice. I added mole to my order and it was delicious. Partner added caliente hot sauce. Be careful! I think they roast the peppers in it. Awesome flavors. I highly recommend breakfast on Sunday, or any day. Great place.

We were babysitting nearby and our son and daughter-in-law recommended this place so we ordered carryout. I've read some of the bad reviews so first of all this was the BEST Mexican food we've eaten since we moved here 7 years ago. And, coming from a city with a very large Hispanic population, this place is most like the Mexican food we are used to eating. The enchiladas were excellent and the homemade chips and salsa are the Best! Yes, the chips are a little thicker because they are homemade which I like. The sauce was very different and at first glance I wasn't sure if I would like it but Wow! It's flavorful and spicy, very good! Some of the staff may not speak the best English so be sure to check your order. Ours was missing an item so all we did was mention it and they very kindly rushed to add it to our carry-out. I can't wait to try another dish from their extensive menu and I want to visit their grocery across the street!

Excellent authentic Mexican cuisine. Big portions and very reasonable priced. Nice polite staff, and very cool Northern Mexican atmosphere. We had chicken burrito and beef enchiladas. Very tasty!

Authentic and awesome! Enchiladas and flautas are my favorites. I often opt for Al a carte tacos. Homemade tortillas chips and salsa are free with every meal. Great service and always a great experience. 100x or more over the years.

So so good enchiladas and super friendly and nice staff. Portions are great so it was easy to share. You can also pick fresh bread and dessert from the adjacent supermarket. Absolutely want to go back

This review is based on a visit to the grocery store. We saw the sign while waiting at a red light and hopped on over to take a look. They have a lot going on for such a small space. The meat section had good choices at good prices. We picked up $1 worth of limes (5). What we were impressed with the most was the bakery...especially the fresh and piping hot pan bono that was yumminess personified. The owner was there and we chit chat for a bit. Really nice lady. Worth a visit if you want to cook Mexican dishes or just pick up some fresh Mexican pastries. We have none of that back home. Thanks Guerreros!!

I just discovered this place. I have been looking for good Mexican food since moving to Sarasota nine months ago and Guerrero's is now my go to spot. Their chips are home made and delicious. The sopes are perfect, my wife had the shrimp and loved every bite of it. Their prices are more than reasonable and they have a bakery on site with out of this world confections.. The wait staff is amazing. I cannot wait to bring visiting friends and family here. I would give them ten stars if I could.

I just went to this place today for the 1st time and I'm in love! I was so happy to find all of the Mexican candies that we love available in bulk. They literally had everything! My main purpose for going though was for Pan Dulce. Some of the best memories I have from my childhood - waking up early to get Pan Dulce with my Dad! Oh my heck they had a huge selection and they're only .99 each! I seriously bought about 2 dozen! Everyone that worked there was so nice too! The lady in the market was SO friendly. Even the customers were friendly! >.< I drove from Port Charlotte and am so happy to have finally found my Mexican Market that I will be frequenting!

So I know I gave the food a 4star but I feel like overall it deserves a 5star rating. The only reason I gave the food 4star is because I got a fajita and I felt like it could have had a bit more meat. The peppers and onions were delicious but the meat was a bit scarce in comparison. Otherwise the food tasted amazing and service was great!! Our waitress was very helpful and friendly. The food tasted very authentic with delicious flavor. I would definitely recommend!!

Wonderful little authentic Mexican restaurant. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was amazing! Most impressive was the $12 hamburger... It was Huge! The first time I've ever had a $12 burger that was worth $12! I ended up taking half of it home with me.
