L’opera Bakery - Sarasota - Photo album

Everything here is homemade and delicious. This is the most authentic French pastries and breakfast and menu that you can find in Sarasota. The owners are super accommodating and friendly. Going here every time is consistently a treat and something new to try. Highly recommended if you appreciate go
Just stopped in after getting a massage a few doors down (I reviewed them too) and wow what an incredible find! The gentleman working, I assume was the owner, was kind and helpful and guided me to order the ham/cheese/egg croissant which was the most delectable breakfast croissant I’ve ever had. The
A welcome addition to Gulf Gate. Plenty of sweet treats like fruit tarts and Opera cake. I didn’t see the full menu so can’t say if they have savory treats like Croque Monsieur, Quiche Lorraine, etc. Fresh baguettes made daily. A good place to get a coffee as well.
If You’re looking for some FRESH homemade French pastries and bread, this is the place. I haven’t try the food yet, but the CROISSANTS are to die for… David the owner helps you practice your French if you’re looking for a place to go and show up a little bit of it. He don’t mind practicing. I didn’t
Wow. This place is awesome a gem of a spot to find with excellent service and delicious and authentic french cuisine. C'est bon! Seriously good and the bakery is nice too.
The food and coffee here is just the best! Almond croissant is to die for! We bought a full quiche for the family and the salad that came with it was delicious!
Absolutely delicious! We visit from Brooklyn every year and this place is fantastic. The croissants are unbelievable! Everything is so fresh and made with pure love. The owner is such a beautiful human. Thank you!
I have never had more delicious French pastries in my life. I wish I could come here every day. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
My first time here. I had the baguettin with olives and tomato and the cinnamon roll. Both exceeded my expectations, everything was so soft and delicious!
Fantastic croissants. I went with the almond and I was not in any capacity disappointed. Super buttery and the right amount of almond inside and out. I wish I had stayed and sampled more of the menu. I will for sure be back
This French bakery and restaurant is a great new addition to Gulf Gate!! We stopped in for coffee and croissants and went back the next day for coffee croissants and grab some pastries and a baguette as well. The food is extremely fresh and authentically French. They are very attentive and service w
Excellent French bakery and cafe. Homemade jam can be ordered with their outstanding omelette breakfast. Everything made from scratch. I really appreciate their attention to detail. Spotlessly clean!
This establishment is so great fresh baked french pastries and coffee. Owners are so nice a definite place to stop and enjoy. Nice breakfast peaceful atmosphere. Love it😁
The ham and cheese croissant is authentic and delicious. The plain croissant was not great, have had better at other French bakeries in Sarasota/Gulf Gate. I'm assuming the owner helped me and as both pleassant, accomodating and very French.
The pastries here, particularly the croissants, are the best we’ve ever had. They’re truly better than the ones we had in Paris. Definitely worth the drive from downtown Sarasota.
I have never written a Google review before, but then, my family has never had a food experience as special and wonderful as we've had at L'Opera Bakery and Bistro. To eat there is to be transported from a tiny strip mall in Sarasota to a quaint streetside cafe in the heart of Paris. The talented C
My husband and I enjoyed breakfast here this morning. The quiche was wonderfully light and fluffy with a flaky crust. The chocolate croissant was seriously the best we’ve ever tasted. The cappuccino was art in a cup. We highly recommend L’Opera
We ate breakfast here today. Absolutely delicious!! We had a raspberry and regular croissant and both were exceptional. We just returned from France and this boulangerie was just as amazing as any place we ate in France. The croissants were flakey and crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. T
