Basils is outrageously delicious. Their quality is fantastic every single time, meat that’s so tender and juicy it falls right off the bone. THE best tzatziki I’ve ever tried. Their gyro is a constant craving I’ll think about for days after having. 10/10 would recommend to anyone that likes great food. Kosta works this establishment very wonderfully and is very kind and helpful.

I've been coming to Basil's since 1992 (year I moved to FL). It's one of my favorite "comfort food" restaurants! Although I lived in Charlotte County now, the 1hr+ drive is nothing when it comes to a delicious hearty meal!
Hands down the best place for ribs and chicken. The mashed potatoes and gravy are the best you will eat. Owner is always pleasant staff is always helpful and happy. Great place.

Food is always good. Recommend getting a dozen of the hot wings. My only complaint is that the restaurant could be a little bit better maintained.
I dined in after a nice gym workout and would go back here again, for a nice mom and pops place local feel. The food wasn’t the best I’ve had, but the flavor of the flame broiled chicken good enough for this type of place and very aligned with the price. I liked how I could add extra chicken pieces as a side. The best part for me though was the chicken soup! It was very much like a comfort food. The staff was also very nice and provided welcoming and attentive service. They also made nice recommendations because I was really, really hungry! Thank you!
This is a very fine business. I worked here when I was 17 years old and nothing has changed in 20 years. Every time I eat at Basil’s I get exactly what Was ordered, consistency is hard to find unless you go to McDonald’s.

This was some of the best rostisseree chicken I've ever had. The butter honey and pita bread was delicious and the baked beans were sweet and tangy.
Immediately friendly and professional service as you walk in.
Everyone was great to talk with and the food and seating is great.
I also saw how well the owner handles his customers over the phone. This is a place that deserves customers.
I'll be coming here again.

Looks like a casual, no frills fast food place. Surprise! Looks are indeed deceiving! The chicken is fresh, perfectly seasoned and delicious. You get a choice between dark and white meat. The coleslaw ,which I’m very picky about, was fresh and perfect. Even the iced tea was fresh, not overly brewed and refreshing. What a find in Sarasota. I’ll be back!
