La Bodega - Sarasota - Photo album

First time at the bodega. I had two tacos carne asada with rice and beans. (#3 on the menu) Flavors were good, produce was fresh, steak was juicy, and the staff was very kind and patient. I will be coming back for more tacos!
I'm rating this place as fairly as possible for what it is, a Mexican market with an old Mexican cantina style restaurant. What the restaurant lacks in flair when it comes to decor, waiters, and creative cuisine, it makes up in basic, authentic flavors. I ordered the Menudo and was not disappointed
Tiny Mexican grocery store with excellent food and service. We came in for lunch with no expectations and left very satisfied. This place will not disappoint. The food portions are good they use a lot of cilantro with homemade hot sauces and salsa! So yummy! 😋 If you like Mexican food you have to ch
Came in to this unassuming little restaurant tucked in this Mexican market and I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of flavor, portion, and fair pricing of my meal ! For lunch, I am definetely coming back to eat my way through the menu because it left me invigorated and wanting more !
Haven't dined in but the fresh tortillas have me coming back!
Listen, this ain't no high class place, and you do have to grab your own drinks out of the fridge... The food is phenomenal and service is great. Best food you'll have all trip!
yum!!!!! this is a great lil mexican joint, cant believe it took so long to find some good rice and beans
Picked up Carnitas for dinner. Came in a kit including cilantro chopped onions and wedges of lime. Got some delicious home made tortillas. Fantastic and affordable!
My husband love this little Mexican market to go and eat mexican food! The food is very reasonably priced, tasty, and the girls speak English, too. It's one of those hidden jewels to enjoy! Our grand daughters loved the food, also!
Very Authentic. Had the Taco plate. Both the pork and chicken were delicious. Also tried the tamales. 3 for $5. Great prices. The condiment bar was well stocked with salsa, pico de gallo, cilantro, and more. Adela was very helpful and knowledgeable about her food. Made us feel right at home.
The food is superb, the service is excellent, the interaction of servers with customers is to be commended i visit every chance i get, not only for for the attention i get but the food ahh! The food so tasty.!!! Only problem it's always busy!.
Chipotle/Taco hell/Grasshopper people, time to try some real food! Authentic, cheap, friendly, and full of atmosphere. Get the giant corona from the attached grocery and order anything from the menu - it's all good. The made-in-house hot sauce at the salsa bar is killer (and killer hot).
My husband loves their menudo! Only place he will get it. I love the steak fajitas. Our go to place for homemade Mexican food!
I went for the little street tacos Carnitas is my favorite. I wood post a picture but they were so good LOL. It's also a Mexican grocer with meat counter. And all the different kinds of peppers you could think of. Check them out!
Holy YUM. Picked up some carnitas for taco night. They give you the meat, cilantro, onion, lime and tortillas if you want. It’ll make your taco night the best you’ve ever had.
I go there because it reminds me of Mexico where I lived 16 years ago in Merida Yucatan and that's where the owners are from great tacos and Latin American foods and the tortillas are Amazing for a 1.50ish hot moist I get a pack every time I pass by I have a massage studio in gulfgate next door so
