Great food. I like Chinese food quite a bit, and Wen's is the best I've found yet. I'd like to see them offer some "more traditional" Cantonese dishes, but everything is excellent regardless. There isn't much pre-packaged food there; they make most of the items themselves. The atmosphere is humble, but the price and food more than compensate. They offer a rather speedy delivery for a large area, and usually arrive surprisingly fast. For "Take Out" Chinese food, I give it 4.5 of 5 stars.
I order some take out last night form Uncle Wens and was ver impressed. The dimmer portions are very large witch I dig. The prices are very reasonable. The staff, very nice. I will be getting my take out fron my boy Uncle Wen from now on.
Great Chinese Takeout!. Its not a big restaurant but the food is great! Not sure what the other reviewer is talking about, maybe they eat out in San Francisco China Town, but for Sarasota this is awesome chinese takeout! I go about once a week now.
Best Chinese Takeout in Town!. Uncle Wen's good is great. Not to mention there staff which are always happy and friendly. There is something special about the food - not to mention the fact that they have won an award for being in the Top 100 Chinese Takeouts in the Country!

Best egg roll in Sarasota: crisp, hot, bursting with fresh flavors. Wonderful General Tso's Chicken, with just the right combination of spicy and sweet; tender, flavorful meat. Loved it!
Second time I've gotten delivery from here and both times they were super fast with it. I got the dragon meets Phoenix and asked for extra spicy and it came with a ton of chicken and shrimp. I highly recommend this place if you haven't tried it yet
Such sweet and wonderful people! This is my first time ordering from this restaurant and I will be back soon! The wonton soup is delicious and fresh and they were very generous with all the ingredients that came in our meals!! :)
Good service. It was fast. From order to walk out was 10 minutes. They have the door blocked and the counter is right there so you order at the door and car wait off to the side or in your car.
Uncle wens in Sarasota is on point! Fresh, hot General Tso Chx and Shrimp Lo Mein pick up. This is the spot! So friendly and nice when I picked up my order. Thank you sir for the extra egg roll 👍 I am new to the area and found my Chinese restaurant 😁

I don't know who is leaving all these negative reviews. We have been eating here at Uncle Wens for 15 years. They are awesome, good food, plentiful portions, everything is fresh and tasty.
