Happy Hour at Forno Bistro is great. Lots of food & drinks to choose. Highly recommend the rice balls and pizza. The gelato was fabulous.
Slightly off the Broadway beaten path but worth it. We thought their chowder during chowder fest was the best! Not a lot of parking next to the restaurant but there are parking garages a block away. We visited on the evening of 6/18/22 with a 7:15PM reservation (needed) for a special 20th Wedding Anniversary dinner. Despite the restaurant being packed, we were kindly greeted and ushered to our reserved table. Our waitress was over-the-top kind and a complete professional (name began with a J);
Went for Restaurant week and had the prix fixe menu for the week. Squash bisque, veal osso bucco and a delicious confection of shortbread, ganache, carmel, & ice cream with berries. The food was good. Service was good.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere... what else can you ask for?

Always a great experience here. Food selection rotates and specials are always good. Beware of the appetizer sampler as you may not have enough room for dinner.
Our first visit here Sat 3/12/22. We made a 5pm reservation so we weren't in a rush to walk to a concert @ UPH 7pm. Forno's has an Italian menu w/ modern interpretations. Snowy & windy earlier in the day, but fairly busy on Broadway in SS.
