Awesome pizza! They have 3 types available - cheese, pepperoni, and a slice of the day. Can order a large or medium whole pizza as well. Drinks and beer available. Service is fast. Pizza slices are huge - could def share! Thin and crispy crust.
Good price on the strip. The pizza was hot and fresh, could of used more toppings on the ham we ordered. The single slice was large and cost $4.50 for cheese.
Our pizza was baked a bit long, but many people like it that crispy. Just may want to ask them to underbake it if you want a less crispy option. All in all nice choice for downtown area. Stuff can be expensive.

I have fallen in love with historic Savannah! Vinny’s Van Go is so worth your money, time, and super delicious! Thin, crispy, and robust favors. The spinach salad is big enough for 3 people to share and super yummy! The beer was ice cold. Server was spit on and great personality. We will be back!

If you're going to get pizza in Savannah, you should go to Vinnie's! Great location, atmosphere, and food. Pizza toppings are excellent (get the sauasage!). Outside seating with lots of opportunities for people watching, and many shops nearby.
Been visiting Savannah on and off for awhile and always passed by this area seeing people eating pizza out of these boxes. Finally took an opportunity to see what the hype was about. We were just up in New York not too long ago, so the taste of New York pizza was relatively fresh on my palate. We enjoyed the pizza, limited options, but if you looking for a slice of pizza you can order it here and won't be disappointed. You can order pizza and customize it, but we just wanted some cheese pizza and we were very happy. Thin crust NY style pizza, I definitely prefer New York's pizza, but this is close to it considering we are this far south, it is pretty good. Watched the guys throw some pizza dough through the window. Freshly made. You can either dine in and wait for a table, or order just to the right you can place an order to go or pick up. Can take awhile, they make them fresh and there are a lot of people ordering. So if in a hurry, plan accordingly.
If I remember right it was 4.50 a slice, .50 for each topping you want to add. They've got a handful of beers to choose from. Great New York style pizza. I saw the guy hand tossing the dough high in the air and laughing inside the side window. Lighter for scale.
A great and affordable place to grab a quick bite or a full on meal! Full disclosure on this...I'm not a huge pizza guy, BUT, when it's done right, I love me some pie!! Vinnie Van Go Go's is a Go back place!! From the great outdoor seating where the people watching is amazing, to the cool old bar inside (also, not bad a place to watch the peeps!) Seriously though, the staff here is always very polite, food is served pretty quick and the food is great! Thinner, crustier style pizza that comes in HUGE slices!!! Fold it in half and chow down. My only slight, and it's not one that would keep me from going back, I wish Vinnie had MORE local brews on tap? Maybe some Two Tides, Service or Debellation to name a few? So, when in the district and you want to grab some good pie, Go, go to Van Go-Go's
The best pizza anywhere ever. Get the slice not the pie. If you know, you know. Add garlic and extra cheese. You're welcome. All delicious and wonderful.
The pizza was pretty good. We ordered two pies to go and they were ready pretty quick. The pies are pretty dang big so keep that in mind when ordering. We had about 5 people and had leftovers.
Best pizza ever!!! I come every time I get a chance to come to Savanah Georgia is been 5 year coming everytime I come for my wedding anniversary as lunch or if I am taking a roadtrip to FL. Is a must stop for us.
The calzones we had were pretty good, but I bet the pizza is even better.
Good price for the pizza, reason why I am deducting a star is because we got our order wrong and we didn’t check it when we got it. We didn’t want to go all the way back to the place to switch it. We had ordered the pesto medium pizza and got plain cheese. As we were waiting, I did notice that a lot of people’s orders were getting mixed up (and of course ours lol) so this might be an ongoing issue that they need to figure out. They did ask “pesto pizza?” when we got it, so we thought we were okay with just this confirmation, guess not lol
The best pizzas of Savannah! An alternative place with a very particular atmosphere. The menu is limited but the quality is very good. You can build your own pizza with lot of different options.
If you want to grab a bite you can also order just portions.

This place has great NY style pizza! I am very critical when reviewing pizza because I’m originally from NY, so trust me when I say this pizza is really good. The crust was perfect and the flavor of the sauce and cheese was perfect. Best pizza I’ve had since Mulberry Street pizza in Beverly Hills when I lived in California.
After walking for a number of hours in and out of stores and historical sites, we happened across Vinnie's. It was almost like a mirage to me that it suddenly appeared before us around 1:00. Ordering at the outside was simple and straightforward, with a bit of a discount if paying in cash. There were not a lot of pizza varieties, but what they do offer will satisfy almost anyone. The slices are HUGE, so if you're feeling really hungry, order a 2nd slice once you've eaten through half of your first one because one slice seems like a half of a medium-sized pizza. Soft drinks and beer are also available. Dining tables are available just to the left under the overhang.
