For a breakfast spot, you have a lot of choices. The food was really good. The pork chop was seasoned well and cooked perfectly on the grill. The eggs were scrambled and has browns were not overcooked. Definitely recommend this spot.

Have been anxiously awaiting another breakfast choice in the Pooler area. Hadn't realized it had opened. Yesterday read comments and reviews, and was surprised by some of the snarkier comments particularly about the interior color choice...sort of a neon minty green, and the furnushing...it's a breakfast/lunch place for goodness sake. What I can share from my first visit is that: Henry's is clean, the wait staff are attentive, service us quick, though they weren't really busy...a nice steady flow, but on a Friday morning at about 9 a.m. not slammed packed. The decor was not offensive and they have a nice mix of tables and booths. It's seat yourself, which I prefer. Less than two minutes before we had our drink order taken and delivered. Food is very similar to another Pooler eater--the Omelette House--except the food, especially the meat, like bacon was nice and warm, not consistently cold like the Omelette House. The menu items are routine breakfast and lunch. Grits were excellent. The blueberry pancakes which cost a dollar more than the standard buttermilk ones, we're very chewy and dry. I had the Henry's breakfast, which was fine. My spouse had the bacon cheeseburger omelette, which he said was good, and again the meat was hot all the way through. The cost was a bit higher, but certainly not outrageous for similar dining placed. We will go backl to try the weekend buffet. Nice place, and nice to have different morning options.
Quick, friendly and great location. I'm not sure what was here before, this is a great little place for those that want good food quick, and on a budget. Apparently, lunch is great here.

OUTSTANDING. Ok...here is a wonderful place for breakfast! This place is CLEAN and the staff are GREAT. The food is simple and very well prepared with very reasonable prices. If your in Savannah and need a great breakfast - this is the place. The next time we are up we will try the lunch.

I don't agree with Nicki. This place is awesome every time. From the food selection to prep to service and cleanliness no better. The owners are hands on and their servers best. I think Nicki might be upset about their not being able to move the table.
For such great food and service, no lines like every other eatery in historic Savannah for brunch. Servers are so nice and courteous.
9 hours after lunch my wife is still talking about how much she loved this place. She had the raisin French toast with eggs and bacon. I had the shrimp and grits which were THE best I've ever had that we didnt make at home. Great service and good prices. Will be back!

Been here many times since they opened. Really nice to see a simple operation that reminds me of the diners up north. The food is simple, but made well. Had the eggs benedict, which is their usual special. It was made like it should. Now, it's not anything fancy, but that's not what they are aiming for here. Simple, did I say that already? English muffin, ham, runny egg on top and smothered in hollandaise sauce. When you cut into the egg, it runs all over the plate. And I love their grits here. The owner and staff are great. They really care that you enjoy your food by coming by and asking. I know this sounds silly. But they ask with a genuine interest. Don't get me wrong, if you are looking for a gourmet breakfast with fancy twists, then this is not for you. If you want a hearty breakfast made fast and right, then drop on by and order pretty much anything on their menu. I also appreciate their lunch buffet. Granted its pretty limited to a salad bar with a couple soups and fresh fruit, but again, it's simple and good. The best part of their buffet are the spring rolls. Keep it up Henry's!

Breakfast at Henry's while home for the Yule holiday was a very good experience. If you want a decent value on a classic breakfast, here you go. Lots of locals-in-the-know eat here. Everyone from the wait staff to the diners were all happy. Henry's has a great atmosphere.
The breakfast combo here is excellent! Three eggs, two slices of bacon, two sausage patties, and two pancakes will fill you up. They also have omelets and breakfast sandwiches. In fact, the Seafood Omelet and Philly Cheese Steak Omelet are both good choices. Do not forget their excellent Belgian Waffles and Cinnamon French Toast.
Everything is reasonably priced and we had ample portions. No one left hungry. Oh yeah, they have good coffee here, as well.
Great breakfast, bad coffee. Henry's offers a great classic breakfast for those tired of trendy breakfast places. Everything was fine until I'd finished my breakfast and drank the last half cup of coffee which left a bitter taste in my mouth.
Best Shrip Po' Boy. Absolutely the best Shrimp Po Boy at lunch. for under $ 10.00 sandwich,fried and drink. Good food- Good price- quick- clean and airy. Ask for DEBBIE to wait on you.

Henry's? Always yes!. I wasn't sure how picking Henry's for breakfast was going to turn out, but let me tell you, it's the only place that we tried and returned to during our short stay in Savannah. The service is absolutely wonderful. The restaurant is tremendously clean. The food is simple and always freshly prepared. You can tell that they take pride in the consistency and quality of their food. It shows. The coffee is delightful, with as much cream and sugar at the table as you would like. The pricing is the most reasonable I came across in town with the quality you are getting. It was our last stop before heading out of town and will probably be our first when we return. I highly recommend Henry's. It's the epitome of what a simply great restaurant should strive for.

Great Service, Great Food, Great Spirit. Henry's is a restaurant that Savannah has been needing for years! The South is known for its hospitality but Savannah's restaurants have been lacking in that department until now. At Henry's you feel like you are at home with a friendly smile from all the staff and every request being met with a "Yes".
I have been coming here since its opening and am proud to take all visitors (business and personal) here for a great food and local experience. The eggs, omelettes, and other items are always cooked to order. For lunch, the HAND PATTIED (yes Hand Pattied!!!) burgers are absolutely mouth watering and the best in town and at $7.50 with fries you can't beat the price.
Every table has an ample supply of cream, butter, jellies, and condiments and if you don't see what you need, believe he has it somewhere and will get it to you. My wife loves blueberry pancakes and they use real, fresh blueberries. Everything is fresh and he appears to take great pride in this and the fact that it is probably the cleanest place in town.
I love coming in and being greeted by name. Henry knows everyone that walks in and has an unbelieveable ability to remember names and make everyone, whether long-time patrons or first-time visitors feel at home.
As a local, I am proud to have Henry's as a place where visitors can get a true taste of our Southern hospitality.

Why No Crowd?. Word has it that Henry's is very busy for lunch 11:30am-1:30pm during the workweek, but based on a Saturday morning visit for breakfast, I'm at a loss why a line doesn't exist on the weekend.
The breakfast offeringsaren't complicated or unusual, and should be what many would equate to southern diner fare, but are done well.
An available buffet provides a variety of choices to build a morning plate, and you'll need to add coffee if there is any desire to exceed $10.
If the goal is a good, no-frills breakfast, I highly recommend Henry's as your destination.
Fresh and Friendly. We rolled into town at breakfast time and stumbled onto this place. Brightly lit and a little more cafeteria-like than we would normally go for, but we weren't sure what else we could find open and we were pretty tired so we stayed. The staff was very friendly and we didn't have to wait, even as people were steadily coming in behind us. The food was quick and excellent. Everything tasted very fresh with no greasiness, our hash browns were wonderful, and the vegetables in our dishes (omelets) were slightly crunchy so obviously very fresh as well. A great experience from a small, low-key place, we definitely weren't expecting.

This place is just your basic corner diner, but it might be the cleanest place in the city to eat. Just sit at the counter and watch the guys cooking and see how much pride they take in their work space.

Grabbed a quick breakfast at this restaurant before we left Savannah to head home. The wait staff was very friendly and the cooks had our food out to us in no time. Nice and clean inside and you can see the cooks working on your meal from your seat. I got scrambled eggs which were cooked perfectly. The bacon was nice and medium, not overly salty. The grits were smooth and buttery. Just delicious. My wife's waffle was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Great cook on it. The coffee was good as well. I recommend this place for a good breakfast.
My sister and I were passing through Savannah and decided to stop here about 12:45 p.m. for brunch. It was definitely worth the stop. We got the last 2 servings of grits, which were so amazing! There were 5 people that came in after us that tried to order the grits. We were so glad we got there when we did...LOL! The prices, the food, the service, the atmosphere...ALL AMAZING! I will definitely be going back when I stop in Savannah again. WHAT A TREAT!!!
We went on Saturday morning about 10:30 am, expecting a wait. There was no wait!! Our waitress was quick, and super friendly. I ordered the eggs benedict (added a piece of french toast), and my husband ordered the western omelet. I doubt our food took 5 minutes before it was at our table. Everything was delicious. They were generous with the hollandaise on my dish, which I greatly appreciated.
My only negative is that the eggs benedict doesn't come with a side. I would have liked some type of potato.

Less than a 1/4 mile to Johnson Square. Approximately 1/2 a mile to River Street shopping area.
Just off of Broughton street, this little diner is exquisite. Homey, clean, cozy, it feels like you're in a painting. I come here with my wife once a month as a treat. I come here when I'm feeling down and I need a pick-me-up. I highly recommend Quinn's when you want an authentic diner experience and a gentle place to rest while you eat.
In a town where everything is getting obscenely expensive and priced only for tourists, Quinns has managed to always be a comfortable spot, nothing special, just another greasy spoon. I have been charged for things I didn't order a couple times now, and it seems in recent years, they have begun to follow suit with higher prices. Solid 4 star rating.
