Where do I even begin! All of that was above five stars I can tell you that!!! I actually reserved it for for my Groves high school Christmas party alumna event we have every year from all classes. Of course ladies we have been doing it for almost 10 years. We had been doing it for 9 years somewhere else and they decided they didn’t want us to come no more at the last minute very rude and inconsiderate after they took my deposit never no problem . So I called sweet LORI she was fabulous and she let us have the party there!! First class service LORI just went over the top for us and we had two waitresses Lillian and Kim and the Sweetest waiter precious Clayton…. They could not do enough. Our girls just love them we were treated with royalty and first class . The food was perfect every plate and I’m talking about they took different orders it was almost 50 people. The food was delicious can’t say enough . Perfect temperature . Steak out of this world . The atmosphere everything it was so festive in there. At the end they had to run over 50 tickets not one mistake just great always smiling .And first class!, just wonderful. The GROVES HIGH SCHOOL CHRISTMAS GIRLS classes of 1969 to 1993 Want to thank y’all so much for having us and everything just went THE BEST . And so smooth. We have our new home much better!! Cannot wait for next year Christmas party ! Again LORI thank you so much for having us. And we wish Sam Sneads a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to The number one restaurant in Savannah. The food was absolutely delicious. Great date night atmosphere. Felt a little rushed by the servers towards the middle of the meal, but overall, I will be back!
Where you were referred by the hampton Hotel, and it was very nice. The service was excellent.
He food was okay, just should have ordered something different. But everything else seemed to be good. They have a great bar area along with lots of seating for the family. The key lime pie was excellent.
Loved this place! Cool design, all about golf. Great service, our waitress Danielle was outstanding! She was helpful and very knowledgeable with menu selections.
The food was amazing! Super delicious!!! We ordered Grilled Ruben, Philly cheesesteak and kids cheeseburger with yummy lemonade. Also I substituted my side for the salad and it was super good. Coffee was on point as well! And prices are surprisingly now for these kind of services and food!!!

Stopped in for lunch today. Our server was friendly but service was slow. I got the Louie salad and the sauteed shrimp were room temperature, however the salad was tasty. My husband got the black n blue burger which was excellent and fries were cooked to order. It just took a really long time. If you are in a hurry probably look for another restaurant. We would eat here again if we were looking to hang out and catch up with friends. Nice bar, clean dining room, and outdoor seating on the water.
We stumbled across this place on accident yesterday looking for a good dinner option. Luckily we were the first ones to walk in without a reservation so only had to wait 20 min or less for a table (on a Friday night at 5:30 I consider this a win). We ordered the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer and scarfed it down before I got a picture. Then we ordered the shrimp Alfredo and lamb shank as our main course and they were absolutely delicious! Our waitress was great and the food was delicious. I highly recommend!
Service by Paul was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. It is a friendly golf theme atmosphere, with pictures and posters of Sam's playing . We like golf, so not being from his era, it was fun to think about how it was to play then. People genuinely seemed to be enjoying themselves.
We were traveling from Ohio to Florida and looking for a place to stop for the evening. Found them online and realized we were not going to arrive until 15 minutes before they’re published closing time. I called and they said sure will serve you. They stayed open and fed six of us one of the best meals we had in a long time. Service was excellent
Visited 1st time 1/7/23. Great atmosphere, good variety of food choices, adult atmosphere, excellent service. Choice of booths, bar or tables. Food came out quickly, attentive wait-staff. Greeted upon entering, good drinks, very clean. Exterior nice with FREE parking. Will go again. Highly recommended
An amazing place to grab food. F wendys come spend your money here. Especially as an uber driver. Plus the bartenders are amazing.
Found this gem by looking here on Google. Staying at a nearby hotel and wandered in for an early dinner on a Sunday. The decor is golf centric but the wood is classy and old school. Service was top-notch at the bar. Great beer selection, menu for every one and service with a smile. I had the sashimi tuna to start and it was absolute “melt in your mouth” good. I followed with the build your own pasta. Angel hair, Alfredo, blackened chicken, add tomatoes. I’m stuffed. I was scared when I walked in due to my 50+ years feeling young compared to the other patrons but glad I stuck it out. Great spot and I’m going back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My cousin surprised me - he and his wife were in town - let’s get dinner tonight! Most places in Pooler had been slammed recently, and I despise waiting for a table. Sam Snead’s takes reservations!! I made a reservation on-line, we met at the precise time, and our table was ready.
Food and service were fantastic! Prices were appropriate.
The four of us had a lovely dinner together catching up.
We will definitely return!
Beautiful interior. Far more classy than expected based on menu pricing. Prices are awesomely reasonable. Service is perfect. Atmosphere is wonderful. Even other customers are friendly and outgoing. Food was the best I've had in my local area. Will DEFINITELY be back!
There was a long wait, but thank God one of the waitresses got to us pretty quickly. Sweet tea was great, and everything else was pretty good for our first trip here! Loved the lighting and atmosphere of the place!
We used the private room for our annual Christmas dinner. We had several servers. Service was great, food delicious. The appetizers were amazing!
Came here with an extremely huge group of people all at once right at opening with no reservation but they were able to quickly take us all in tables of 6 or 7 which was perfect. Colleen was a friendly and attentive server. I was stuck on whether to get the shrimp or the chicken flatbread and she informed me I could do half and half. I was surprised at the size when it came out...it was twice the size of what I expected! Both versions were delicious! The 5 other people at my table were all very happy with their menu choices as well. Many of the people from our group went back the same night for dinner since they liked it so much. I will gladly return next time I am in the area!
