I visit the cafe very often as this is a very relaxing place to enjoy breakfast, coffee, and I bring my laptop and get a lot of work done in the early mornings. This is a very interesting place to be and see all walks of life. From Artist to Savannah’s political leaders and group. Tourist love this spot as well.

A Savannah classic, Sentient Bean has an old school vibe that reminds me of the East Village (NYC), or the Mission District (SF). It's always got fresh baked scones and bagels, along with the best quiche in town. I love that it features art, and has a bohemian aesthetic. And, its prices may have gone up, but nothing close to other cafes. Their day old basket provides $1 baked goods, which is always nice to take home after eating there. If you're looking for something that feels authentic, not overly crowded, a friendly and uniqe staff, with a view of Forsyth Park, and an outdoor patio, this is the spot.

A great place to go for coffee or a snack near Savanna, Georgia. Located at the south end of Forsythe Park in the heart of historic Savannah, the Sentient Bean Coffee Shop is an oasis for coffee lovers seeking a cozy and vibrant atmosphere. From the moment you step inside, the eclectic decor and warm ambiance invite you to settle in and savor the experience. It is a very cozy and homey feeling. You enter through one of the 2 doors facing the park. There is often a line that forms as soon as you enter to the left of the door. The menu is on the East wall and includes a range of options from coffee to tea as well as food to serve most dietary needs. There are seats at the counter facing out the window, tables in the center, and some seating out the back of the room. Each time I have visited they have had at least 2 people taking orders. You pick up your order at the end of the ordering counter. The service at Sentient Bean is consistently friendly and attentive, with staff members who are knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations. The laid-back atmosphere and comfortable seating make it an ideal spot for both catching up with friends or finding a quiet corner to work. Bottom line, the Sentient Bean Coffee Shop in Savannah, Georgia, is a haven for coffee enthusiasts and those seeking a welcoming community space. Whether you're a local or a visitor, make sure to pay a visit to this charming coffee shop in the heart of Savannah.

One of the best cafes to grab a cup, sit down and work. Baristas here have a great taste in music. You never go wrong with any of the the classic brews here.

Stopped at this coffee shop because it was near my air B&B. There is a white line you follow to get in line. They were out of the syrup I wanted for my latte so I opted for a white chocolate mocha. Mocha was good but the star was the everything bagel. The bagel was absolutely out of this world! Loved sitting on the back patio to eat under the lemon tree. The shop is environmentally friendly. They have several selections of whole beans for purchase at a serve yourself bar. I was kind of taken aback though when I got the front staff because all over the city everywhere I’ve gone everyone has been so friendly and helpful and the front staff here had a very indifferent attitude. I guess the city has just spoiled me to friendly people and I know not everyone is rainbows and sunshine. All in all good experience and great coffee.

This is a college hot spot that's perfect for meeting up with friends, family, and dates! It's definitely one of me and my friends favorite local spots to get some coffee and a bite to eat. I even brought my mom, aunt and grandparents here before and they loved it as well! So cozy inside.

A favorite destination. We often stay just north of Forsyth Park when in Savannah, and a walk through the park to end at Sentient Bean for coffee, or better yet for breakfast, is an enjoyable part of every trip. They really do have good coffee. They also have good breads that we always get - like chocolate chip banana bread or blueberry-poppy-seed-lemon. And their breakfast burritos, omelettes, samosa and tacos are worth trying! The Sentient Bean is always on our list of places we go back to when we are in Savannah (typically more than one stop here)

I loved my vegan breakfast burrito. The shakeratto was disappointing flavor wise. Would come again but get something else. Staff was very friendly :)

Neat coffee shop right across from Forsyth! They have a ton of food and bev options including coffee, tea, smoothies, Italian soda etc etc. They have lots of vegan options and all day breakfast! The vegan cookies are super soft and legit good. Chill vibe inside, nice place to sit- or take your drink for a walk in the park!

We got a mocha, hot chíllate, breakfast sandwich, and big daddy sandwich. Everything was really good. And it is all reasonably priced. At the end of drinking my mocha it tasted a bit sour probably because the chocolate at the bottom. Other than that, really cute place and I love how environmentally friendly it it.

Very cool atmosphere, and excellent location. Staff is friendly, and fast. If you walk in to a long line, you'll be through in no time. There is a wonderful assortment of treats, and small meals. A lot of vegan options, as well as gluten free. Hands down some of the best coffee in Savannah. Always very robust, and tasty. Cards are accepted for purchases over $5. Great place to pop in for a coffee to walk around the park with, or hangout with a book or friends.
