Fun place with great food. Always love the dough here with a great sauce ratio. We ordered the House Special Pizza which is one of my favorites. Tons of toppings and a perfect amount of crust! Also, grabbed a small cheese pizza for my son and it was a wonderful pizza as well. My wife and I split a large Caesar salad as an app, it is plenty for two people and was dressed perfectly.
The service was spot on and the decor was fun as usual. I love how each location has their own vibe.
I’ve been to Mellow in many states and this has been one of the best, I still love them all.

The party I was traveling with might disagree (they were complaining about the server and the amount of bread chips that came with the spinach and artichoke dip), but I thought the food was good and the server was on top of things as best she could be. However, it took A LONG TIME to get our food, and it was pretty empty. I’m not sure what was going on, but I don’t think we would have stopped in if we knew it would take so long. They were also obviously understaffed which is a bummer for those left.
We got pizza, a burger, and a beer. It all was or looked good (I didn’t try the burger). I will say it was a bit pricey, but Savannah is a big tourist area, so it’s to be expected. As mentioned, for the little amount of food we got with a mostly empty restaurant, it took a long time to get the food.
The vibe is super chill and fun. I love the decor. Booth and chairs were comfy enough. The tables we had were quite wobbly, but we MacGyver-ed it to make sure we didn’t spill our beer.
The bathrooms are a bit tight - you need to do some dancing around the throne to fit. Actually just getting there you have to squeeze by a pole between tables or walk around someone’s chair while they eat to get to the doors , but it’s fine. I also thought the smell of the soap was pretty gross. Clean hands, though. You need ‘em, so, yeah.
My kids loved that the floor had so many swoops and slopes and little steps. Just be aware if mini parkour isn’t your thing.
This place was recommended to me by my uber driver and he could not have been more right! I couldn't decide between two pizzas so they made me a half and half pizza! The mushroom pizza and the Buffalo chicken pizza were delicious, I HIGHLY recommend.
I’ve eaten at many Mellow Mushrooms throughout the years and it’s always a pleasant experience for the most part. My visit to Savannah was no different! I had the pleasure of dining in with my server being Mr. Sunny. Sunny was PHENOMENAL. He was quick, friendly, attentive. He made everything EASY. 10/10 service. We will be coming back!!! Our bartender was such a delight! Food was consistent with our normal experience at other chains across the country. Would come visit this location again just to chat with our server. Staff was super kind and great at food and beverage recommendations.
Mouthwatering pizza with fresh ingredients and crust. Mellow Mushroom is a plus, and trivia night is always the best time to experience this family oriented hidden gem.
Our server was great. We went for lunch. Took a minute to get plates for our pizza but it wasn't a big deal. Everyone's food was very good. We ordered a half and half pizza, salad and a burger. Great lunch place. The inside is nice and I believe was remodeled (semi) recently. This was my first visit in several years.

I’ve wanted to visit a mellow mushroom establishment since a couple of months ago, finally did it and had a great experience, our server was super sweet and friendly, she helped us a lot with our questions on the menu. I ordered the sangria, which was great. And I ate a veg out pizza which was great, my friend got the holy shiitake pie, also really tasty. We’ll come back again because the menu looks delicious and I love that they do trivia nights.
In town for a conference, this restaurant is on the same block. It was absolutely amazing! Best bar I’ve been to in the neighborhood and the pizza was to die for! Service was quite amazing too! My colleague enjoyed her gluten free pizza too!
I ordered my food online, the young lady that helped me was very nice and she answered all my questions with an amazing attitude. I love this place 😁
Loved that the music wasn't so loud that you had to holler over it to carry on a conversation. My daughter is allergic to gluten and didn't have any problem with cross-contamination with the gluten free pizza that she had, great job! Atmosphere was great, very clean, waitress was very nice and polite and price was great. If ever back in Savannah, wouldn't mind eating there again.
Knew it was a chain going in but was surprised by the quality of the pizza. The mushroom speciality pizza was my favorite and I wished we had ordered larger pies, that way I could have saved some for later that night. The restaurant was clean and I was impressed by the service. They were very attentive and quick with refills for our drinks. Overall the experience makes me want to seek out other mellow mushroom locations when traveling.
I’ve mostly gotten takeout from here and it’s genuinely some of the best pizza you’ll find in the city. I’m a vegan and the vegan cheese is excellent, plus the crust always has a delightful slightly chewy texture that I love! I dined in once and my server was great, I sadly can’t remember her name now. We ended up ordering a non-vegan appetizer without realizing and when we ordered vegan cheese on our pizza she made sure to come back and let us know about the appetizer and offered some modifications to make it vegan for us. The restaurant was super busy so the wait for food was quite long but well worth it. My biggest gripe is honestly that their toothpicks are pretty terrible, they always snap in half when I try to use them 😂 Other than that, I couldn’t recommend this place more, especially for takeout!
The staff are all so friendly! Shout out to Harley! They really brightened my day when I came in to get some take out after a rough day. Very kind and thoughtful, especially with dietary restrictions!
Cool vibe, interesting murals, good service, good food; 4 instead of 5 stars because of long wait for food when it wasn’t very busy at all; we were so hungry when we got our dinner that I didn’t get a pic before we were half way through the meal
