We had such a good lunch here today. We were able to sit on their patio and enjoy the beautiful weather. All the meals were wonderful except one dish the Shrimp and Grits which was just ok. The Crab soup was simply amazing! It’s a little pricey $81 for 2 people but the food and service was worth it. We will come here again.

Hands down the best bread pudding I've ever had! Loved the Fried Green Tomatoes and Calamari. Perfectly cooked scallops! The filet was a true medium rare and the braised short ribs were delicious!

Our first afternoon of vacation in Savannah and we chose this spot to stop in for dinner and drinks. We got right in, as walk-ins and Amanda was our server. She made the experience simply amazing- by making recommendations and she is a true sweetheart! Our food was lovely and the cocktails as well. We would recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area. We walked the blocks and visited the riverfront. This was the best start to our vacation and we can't thank Amanda enough for her hospitality and small talk while we visited.

My husband and I decided to have dinner at Belford's. He made reservations a few days in advance. Our waiter was very nice and told us about the filet Mignon with a crab cake on top, so naturally that's what we both ordered. They were amazing! They only thing I didn't care for was the potatoes, my husband loved them. It was still great!

My husband and I stumbled across Belford’s after touring the American Prohibition Museum. This restaurant is in a great location between Franklin and Ellis Square just down from City Market. We stopped in around 1:00 PM on a Saturday and it wasn’t too crowded but I’d recommend making reservations if you want to make sure you get a table. We were able to catch the tail end of bottomless mimosas. Our waitress, Autumn was great. She made sure our mimosas were in fact bottomless and gave great menu recommendations. I had the steak and mushroom pot pie which was delicious. The braised beef had a lot of flavor and was extremely tender. Along with the beef was carrots, peas, and mashed potatoes, all topped with a puff pastry in a hot ramekin. Delicious!!!! My husband had the steak sandwich which was also delicious. Chef Bobby stopped by our table and we told him how phenomenal everything was. He specifically asked if we liked crab cakes and I told him we were crab cake snobs and only order those in Maryland. He was up for the challenge and served us a complimentary crab cake. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. It was filled with lump crabmeat and just enough filler to hold the cake together perfectly. It’s served with spiced tomato jam and charred poblano lime aioli which complimented the crabcake nicely.

Wow! We had the best experience here! Stopped in with my daughter and niece for a late night cocktail. I wish I remembered the bartender's name! She was phenomenal. She made me the best fresh Pina on the rocks, and regaled the kids with ghost stories from her years working in restaurants in the historic district. A great time was had by all! She had the best personality and and made our visit here so much fun! She's a keeper, and with my many years as a small business restaurant owner, I wish we could find a bartender just like her!

This was an unplanned stop on our cousins trip but they were able to accommodate the 14 of us. J'Velle advised us he was not able to seat all of us at one table, since it was last minute but would be able to seat us at 4 separate tables, which we were grateful for. Our server was Amanda who was very attentive and kind. J'Velle checked on us and introduced the Executive Chef and the Owner to our group, who were all very pleasant! To top the experience off, the food was amazing! Please do yourself a favor and dine here if you visit or live in Savannah. I will be back! The food, the ambience, the hospitality were all excellent!

Words cannot express the experience I just had at Belfords. We stopped in for a drink & appetizer… needless to say we stood for more ! Our bartender Corey AKA Hot chocolate gave us the overall best experience. He was kind , funny , witty and professional. Made THE best drinks which one was created by *Cheyenne * A very crispy and refreshing drink that can be ordered back to back - it’s called the Berry bubbly . You cannot go wrong . We had charcuterie board which was colorful , flavorful , and bursting with texture. It definitely set the standards for a good charcuterie . 10/10 would recommend .

OMG!!!! Brittany the bartender and Bree (Bri?) the server made our day!!! We wanted a Peach Bourbon Iced Tea which was not on the menu nor in Britt’s repertoire. Between Bree and Britt, we got what we wanted and more. Excellent service, great personalities, super friendly .. you definitely want to go here. And the food was great too!!

Amazing food. Salmon on grits, Elk steaks, Rib-eye, and NY strip. The warm bread before the meals drizzled with oil, didn't last long either. Atmosphere was very relaxing, perfect for a date night out. The history of the building, and the fact its one of the last few originals, just adds to the meal.
