I’m shocked this restaurant is not five stars. I don’t often leave reviews, but this was one of the best we’ve been to—-in Savannah and back home in Texas. Every staff member, including the owner who hand-delivered our entree—was friendly and accommodating. Our server, Celine, had great recommendations. The key lime pie-inspired cocktail was crisp and light and not too sweet. Every dish was perfect. Our only regret is we didn’t have room to try more than we did. It will be a place we absolutely return to when we visit again.

We had a great dinner here with excellent service and food. Really nice pork chop and steak, with key lime pie and creme brûlée for dessert. They were great accommodating a gluten allergy as well. Zero complaints. Pricey, but we got our money’s worth overall.

For my birthday dinner I decided to go to Cha Bella after long research for the best place in Savannah. We were travelling from Germany to Savannah and I wanted to be sure that the restaurant really fulfills my expectations. So we went there one day before the reservation to check out the location. It was no problem to have a look at the restaurant, check the menu and select the perfect table for the next day. At my birthday we went there for dinner, and we experienced a very warm welcome, again. The table was perfect and the service excellent. We decided for Focaccia and Burrata as starter and it was no problem to get smaller plates and to share them. To all our extra wishes the answer was “absolutely”, and all my wishes were fulfilled. For the main course we had a ribeye steak that was cooked medium rare – perfect. As sides we can recommend the risotto as well as the mushrooms. Unfortunately, we had no more space for dessert but enjoyed some really good cocktails. Altogether it was the perfect birthday dinner with my husband at Cha Bella and we would definitely come back. Thanks for the warm welcome, the excellent service and the delicious food!

Dined in Saturday, Oct 14, 2023 to celebrate our one year anniversary. The restaurant was recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed, in fact already looking forward to visiting again! Daniel was a terrific server and made wonderful recommendations! We ordered hog chop and the bacon & whiskey board with a clean bullet and bullet with coke, all was perfect. Attire ranged from some in t-shirt and jeans to others in their Sunday best. You can go here for anything as there was a wedding reception and a bachelorette party there while we were there .

5 stars from Californian foodies! The seven of us absolutely loved every bite of our meal! The server was so friendly and attentive and the bartender made our one underage diner a fun mocktail. We ordered a bottle of wine, 4 appetizers, 5 entrées, 4 sides and 3 desserts and enjoyed every dish! The grouper cake was better than any crabcake I've ever had and the filet mignon was cooked perfectly. Our desserts were absolutely amazing. We are so glad to have discovered Cha Bella while on a girl's trip in Savannah and hope they'd consider a second location in the Napa Valley!

Went here for Thanksgiving. They were busy with large families and smaller families and handled it very well. Our server was very sweet and kind and was running crazy taking care of everyone. My prime rib was cold and not cooked to my exact liking, but also going to account for how busy they were. The frenched onion was amazing! I seriously wanted to order a big bowl to go! Everyone else in the group enjoyed their dinners as well. This was for Thanksgiving dinner, so I really can't say for their normal menu. The staff and atmosphere was amazing regardless.

We live in Savannah and had not been to the restaurant since before the pandemic. We had the carpaccio, which is one of the best in town. Beautifully and creatively served. The oysters on the grill Caesar were flawless. Loved the rich and creamy dressing on the salad. We had their two most popular entrées. I had the grouper, that is sourced from the best local seafood market in Savannah. My husband had the pork chop. That was a beautiful mahogany, perfectly cooked with a little pink and very moist. We ended the meal with their orange zest crème brûlée and washed it all down with a bottle of South African white. Tonight, nobody got a better meal, More warmly, and professionally served in the city of Savannah.

Cha Bella is a little jewel that’s not to be missed. Escape from the hustle and bustle, and enjoy a wonderful meal. My sister had the grouper and she said it was perfection. My other sister and I had the filet. Again, perfection. Tasteful and tender. We each had a different dessert and we were all delighted.

Eccentric in a great way; definitely out of the ordinary, and the food was FANTASTIC! Well worth the price! I was scouting out Mediterranean style restaurants on Google for our 24th wedding anniversary, and Cha Bella was listed, although we did not get the med vibe from either the food or the atmosphere. But the meal was heavenly from start to desert. Definitely a place to experience!

My hubby picked this restaurant and he did a very good job I must say! We sat outside and even though they had fans on the ceiling and the ground it was still pretty hot! They have 4 swings which are so much fun!!! Anyway they have complimentary focaccia which was yummy. I was tempted to get the vichyssoise but the server recommended the potato gnocchi instead ( be warned, the menu is different from what is on their site ). The gnocchi was EXCELLENT, the mushrooms in it were so GOOD! I had wanted to have the pasta which was roasted red pepper cream pasta BUT like I said the menu online is different so they didn't have it. They had ricotta raviolo instead which I didn't want! So I got the shrimp and crab risotto. I've had shrimp risotto that is too rich to have more than a few bites of but this one was PERFECT! It was a huge portion with generous shrimp. The tomatoes and green beans made it much fresher and the shaved parmesan takes the dish over the top! Hubby got the market catch which was pan roasted grouper with succotash. This was a huge helping too! Cooked perfectly. And the best thing was that NONE of the dishes needed extra seasoning! I got a virgin mojito which was good but not sweet enough for me so the barman remade it perfectly. For dessert we got the chocolate creme brulee which was good but we were so full we couldn't finish it! I would definitely come here again!

This was my absolute favorite restaurant in Savannah. The food was on a whole different level of delicious and satisfying. Our group shared an amazingly smooth hummus, rack of lamb, bacon wrapped scallops, and a jalapeño dip that none of us could get enough of. It's a beautiful little place. Felt intimate. The employees were all very friendly. The best part? It's farm to table. If I ever come back to this city, I will absolutely be returning to this restaurant.

This restaurant is a hidden diamond. The atmosphere and design is very romantic. We love the feel and the food this restaurant gives. We had the rice ball but mine was without the marinate sauce. Definitely will be reservation to go back.

Was on vacation and decided to stop in on a whim. They had no problem seating us even though we had made a reservation only an hour before Food was really good. Highly recommend the rack of lamb and the giant ribeye (24oz.). Service was amazing, drink specials were a little different, but very good. Locals and visitors alike really should make sure to stop by and enjoy this place.

Cha. Bella is the perfect place for a rehearsal dinner or special private event. The atmosphere is out of a storybook with the twinkle lights, white lines, candles, billowy drapes and swings for two. The farm and fisherman to table food is creative and ridiculously good. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly, and Candace Carver is such a pleasure to work with! She is so accommodating and leaves no detail, no matter how small, uncovered!! There are not enough good things to say about this restaurant!! We had our son’s rehearsal dinner there May 2021 and I highly recommend it!

Lovely restaurant, and good food, the ambience and the interiors of the restaurant make up a very cozy place for intimate dinner or get together, we visited for a birthday party and they had set up a table on the upper floor of the restaurant which gives you a feeling of a private party in a restaurant, the table was beautifully set up and our server was lovely. To start with the drinks I had the pomegranate liquor drink which was ok, they have a few selection of cocktails and and extensive drink menu with wines and the server can help you pair the drinks with food as well. For appetizers we had the gnocchi and the hummus plate, which was ok not that great but you can taste the freshness of the ingredients it's prepared with, the chips with the hummus can be less oily they were fried. The bread served for the table was amazing so soft and flavorful.our Main course were the shrimp and crab risotto which was also ok, the rice was overcooked with v less crab in it, they also offer vegetarian options if requested the veggie risotto was also ok not that great with huge portions of asparagus and mushrooms, although the tomato ravioli was tasty. If you are a steak eater, their steaks are good portioned, locally sourced and flavorful according our friends who had them. All in all a good fine dining experience to visit with your family and friends.
