Ashley was amazing. She keep us very satisfied. We brought our service dog in training. He is very new to being out and they made him feel comfortable enough to settle. The tacos and nachos were excellent. We did have to wait but that was just cause the kitchen was full of orders. This place is hopping and serving great food. Bonus free parking. Get off your butts and come love the food.
I'm not from Savannah and would have never found this place. Hands down the best nachos and the best wings I've ever had. Will definitely be a routine weekend lunch stop from now own.
Super neighborhood bar, we live blocks down the road..first time there and it was packed...everyone seemed to be having a great time...loved the music and atmosphere. We were warmly greeted and seated right away, Aaron our server was engaging, friendly and attentive .... btw he makes a great Margarita! Food was fresh, hot, and served quickly despite it being super busy...delicious tacos and the fried pickles are to die for...we will b back!
From service to food to atmosphere, This is a must go to place! Been going there for about 9 years, that includes their previous location. You will not be disappointed!!
The service was phenomenal. The way they treated our dog was beyond exceptional. The way no one tried to run away because she was a pitbull amazing. Now the food, I can't remember the last time I had such original delicious cooking. I stepped out of the box and ordered things I don't usually order and I was pleased. The sweet potato salad was delicious and fresh the plantains were perfectly cooked and there are no words to describe the tacos. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Totally fun and unexpected place. My friend took me there for lunch, before I had to go to the airport. Best fried pickles I've ever had, and my pork was smoked with pecan wood. I've never had that, but it was really good. I would definitely eat there the next time I visit Savannah.
Those chilly lime tacos and minuto, OMG! My husband had the brisket with the Parmesan breaded pickle spears that were divine. We were passing by on our way to FL and would definitely recommend. Beautiful neighborhood too! We were happy to find a great spot with parking ;)
Had a great time out with friends at Blowin Smoke. Great atmosphere. The hostess was very nice and attentive. Our server was great! The food was very good. The drinks were good as well. Definitely two thumbs up!
Really enjoyed this place... first time here. I had the island hopper tacos, and they were amazing! My wife had the pollo loco tacos, and really enjoyed them.... the kids had chicken and cheese quesadillas.... which to be honest were too small... they NEED to be bigger.... charge another dollar if needed.
It's nice for the locals to have an awesome place to eat lunch and dinner downtown in a laid back and relaxing atomospher...
Went with a party of seven.we had pablano peppers stuffed with barbecue pulled pork with melted cheese.they were out of this world. We had spicy shrimp wraps with spicy solo sauce,frayed dill pickles ,BBQ pork taco with taziki sauce,deep fryed ice cream taco's.the food was fantastic. We will return
5 stars for the food, but service was bad unfortunately because food was so good. The tacos were excellent, just service was bad. It may have been just our waitress as she was ready to go back to school and maybe just did not care about the job. But go for the food.

Great place for a casual bite. You won't be disappointed by their tacos or BBQ. Their fried dill pickles have converted many of my skeptical friends. This place caters to locals with their happy hour specials. Their seating is almost all outside or exposed to the outdoors.
Great wings and margaritas and SUPER NICE staff!!! Had a great experience here. Southwest Mac and cheese was fantastic (said the 7-year-old).
Don't get me wrong: this isn't the prettiest place to go for Mexican food and the service was slow, even though the dinner rush hadn't yet started. That being said, the tacos were so delicious, it was the only place we wanted to visit more than once during our short stay in Savannah. Spouse had Island Hopper tacos-- the jerk marinated steak brought tears to his eyes, both due to spice and tastiness. I had the falafel tacos, and they were outstandingly yummy. Vegetarians and meat-lovers alike will find something tasty from the limited yet inexpensive menu. The margaritas were nothing to write home about, but the food far made up for that. Live music was just beginning on the patio as we left. A bit of a walk south from Forsyth Park, but it's doable, or utilize the free lot or street parking.
Loved this restaurant!! It does have a parking lot next to the restaurant. It was full when we got there but there was plenty of street parking as well. They do have outside seating in the front but they also have large garage doors on the sides of the building. It was a nice day and they had the doors up so even though we sat inside we could still feel a breeze. It was nice! The food came out pretty quick and it was delish!! They did have a kids meal and we got the fruit as a side for our little one (pineapples and strawberries). He ate his entire meal! We got the tacos and the fried pickles as sides (Love that you can get fried pickles as a side! And they're the spears..really good) The Memphis was good but I really liked the pollo loco taco! It was a little spicy (for me) but it was SO good! I will definitely get it again next time! I would recommend this restaurant for sure!
The space is great, the food is good, the service is... okay. Really cool atmosphere and pretty good food. If they can improve on the service, this place will rock! One unique aspect: they have a "voice of the week" discount. This means that if you place your order in the accent or voice of the week, you get a discount. It's pretty awesome.
Not your traditional southern BBQ. It is good tho. Service was assume and the Guy playing music was pretty good. Was surprised its a half Mexican place. I will def be back.
The waitress was awesome, very helpful and friendly. The salsa was great as well. I had the pull pork plate with 2 sides. Fried pickles and Spanish rice. I have no complaints about my plate. The portions are not small so you leave full. Loved the pull pork, very tender. I will be back!
Got a brisker sandwich and slaw and wife got a taco salad with tofu. Very tasty and inexpensive. Going back to get some Q.

GREAT BBQ. Came here with a group of 12 and was seated right away on a Friday night. The amount of food you get for the price is amazing! I had the fried pickles for an appitizer, pulled pork and mac-n-chz and then the brownie dessert.........it ALL was TERRIFIC! This place is a must if you live or visit Savannah. I will be back everytime I'm in town! Oh and tons of beer to choose from!
I had the beef rib. It was huge! It was pretty good but the size was gimmicky (1/2 slab = 1 rib). Sauce was just ok...Wiley's Championship BBQ has a much better taste. Fried okra was awesome as we're the fried pickles. Also had the pulled pork platter with onion rings and potato salad. Wife says subpar flavor with not a lot of sauce choices. I agree. Onion rings were good. The jalapeño biscuits must have been made wrong because they were god awful. I'd go back, but I'd try the pork rib.
Odd thing to say about a BBQ restaurant, but they have really good crabcakes. You can add one to any platter for only $4.00. Beef ribs were good but not exceptional. Nice atmosphere. Location is at the edge of where you'd want to go.

Delicious ribs!. We wanted to eat somewhere not in the heart of the touristy area and Blowin Smoke did not disapoint! Everything was delicious and the portions were huge! We ordered 2 entrees and 2 kid meals and ended up bringing enough home for dinner that night as well!
The highlight was definitely the beef ribs. As you can see from the pic the Corrie posted they are huge and unlike beef ribs I have had other places were juicy with flavor all the way through. this is very difficult to get right with beef ribs due to their thickness and they are often dry on the outside but Blowin Smoke gets them just right!
Liked the pulled pork, fried okra, collards, and peppery corn muffin; LOVED the sauce, pork loin, and apple pie. Fantastic, friendly service. Good sangria and a nice beer selection, too.
The best sauce anywhere. Never had a BBQ sauce like it Thick and fruity almost like a chutney. Brisket had a perfect bark. The pulled pork and ribs were good but unremarkable (before that sauce). Don't miss the cornbread or the fried mushrooms. Service was quick and attentive.

Great food. I had pulled pork and husband had baby back ribs,very good along with great fried pickles and okra and our waitress Erika was very attentive and gave us suggestions for seeing sights...overall great eating experience will definitely be adding to our list to come back!
Pulled Pork sandwich was great, the coleslaw was a little dry. The beef was moist and fell apart at the fork. We stayed outside so we had the main road traffic in the back ground. Overall this was a great lunch break. Food came out fast and hot.
Find your way over here. You gotta try the friend pickles... the BBQ is amazing as well. This is a clean and tasty stop on downtown's list of culinary musts. Try it and you'll add it to your top ten list too. The pulled pork is just absolutely mouthwatering!
Ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries... Delicious! Also tried the fried pickle. Great choices of beers. The waitress took her time getting our order though but other than that the food was great! Will come back again :)

Good but not great. Good food with a great atmosphere. For the space they have to work with, and their location, they are doing great. They have created a very nice outdoor eating area.
The food is good, though being a student for 5 years, I have tried a lot of BBQ in Savannah. Blowin' Smoke is up there, but not the best in town, in my opinion. They definitely picked up the slack when Sweet Leaf disappeared, but I still prefer the alley joints for their unique, superb flavor. Though, if I want a nice atmosphere, some live music perhaps, then it is Blowin' Smoke for sure.
Some of the best BBQ my husband and I have ever had! The ribs were ridiculously good and the pulled pork was delicious! Serious food coma leaving there! Wonderful waitress! The bill was bigger than we thought it would be though.
Great place for food & music. Great venue for an evening out. I've been here several times and haven't been disappointed. Great live music for Savannah. Glad the roasted vegetable sandwich returned to the menu.
All BBQ standards covered..pork, chicken, ribs. Extensive bottled beer selection and laid back outdoor seating. Always a great soul music soundtrack too ;)

Homemade BBQ, Fun Atmosphere. The bbq isn't the best I've ever had, but it's worth the fun atmosphere with live music, outside seating and a large beer list!
Traveling through Savannah with a party of 10 and decided to find some local barbecue. This was a great choice for us! Service was good, with the exception of the bar - I didn't get my mule until after the food came and it was not a busy time of the day. However, the food was great and just what we were hoping for. Everything from the pulled pork, grilled chicken, appetizers to tacos were great! The collards were especially delicious and tasted like they were cooked by a real southern grandma. Try the sweet potato potato salad if you're in the mood for something out of the ordinary. Be warned that even though you're inside, it may still be a bit warm. We sat by the fans and were comfortable, but if you're hot-natured you may want to sit in the bar area in summer. All in all, we really enjoyed our meal.
Really enjoyed the fresh food and so food my kids, which is rare! They gobbled up the beans and rice. It was refreshing to see them enjoy something other than chicken nuggets and pizza. The fried green tomato taco was pretty good.
I don't use this word often, but this place is exemplary!! Truly impressive, from the food to the service to the friendly accommodations of puppers. We brought my dog Solo here, and before our waitress even came for our drinks, the hostess had a bowl of cold water and a MASSIVE beef bone for my doggo. The beer selection was on point, and the tacos were some of the best I've ever had, and I live in Miami! A must have when in Savannah!!
I came here specifically for the fresh fried pork rinds and pulled pork fondue and it did not disappoint!! Used to be at East End Provisions, so glad to find it here. Pulled pork was flavorful and the collard greens were the perfect blend of spice, sweet, smoke, and salt.
An interesting mix of Southern BBQ and Mexican food. I had the single beef rib and it was delicious. Tender, juicy and fall of the bone good. The sides were done well. Collard greens were classically southern and the mac & cheese had a southwestern spice twist. She had two tacos. The Baja and the brisket. Both were delicious but she couldn't stop raving about the shrimp in the Baja.

1st time here & Casey was our server. She was great with the suggestions & the upgrades. We both had an alcoholic beverage, an appetizer & our meals. $35 is cheap for all that! The atmosphere is great & the food is amazing! Our appetizer was the parmesan pickle spears & they were DELISH!I did forget to take a pic of our meals but I had the tortas brisket sandwich which was DELISH & my husband had the catfish tacos & he said they were fresh & great. This place is a must try!
Came here on a cold night in late January. The coverings they have over the sides were still a bit flimsy for the weather. With that said, the food was good and I enjoyed myself. I'm sure this place is much better when the weather is nice and the coverings are up!

It was ok.... I asked for a sweetwater 420 but didnt have the beer although sweetwater was advertised on several posters around the restuarant. Food was excellent..
Food and service are excellent. The blackened fish tacos, street corn, plantains are all fantastic. Should be on Diners Drive Ins and Dives.
