My family and I stopped here while we were on vacation for a quick drink and bite to eat, and everything was absolutely wonderful! I loved their drink selection and all of their food items sounded delicious. I ordered the fish and chips and they came out hot and were quite tasty! Our server/bartender (josh) was very friendly and personable, he definately knew what he was doing (: I also really liked the atmosphere, even the music they played was good. I definately recommended that people try it out while in the Savannah area, you won't be disappointed!

What a great experience! Had our own huge flat screen to watch Philadelphia Eagles play and staff was very accommodating. The best sports barfood ever... The chipotle wings were amazing. They were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside and covered in bacon bits, be still my heart,,,Wait!!don't be still keep pumping!!! There was an amazing jalapeno cheese dip served with soft pretzels and also some type of sausage served on flatbread. The best Margarita I've ever had because it was a "jalapeno" margarita. -----amazing!!! People were friendly and the service was great!! What more could you ask for in a sports bar? Wish I could move it to my home town in South Carolina.

This placed rocked! We celebrated our daughter’s 16th birthday there and the staff was so nice and accommodating to our large party. Very fun and friendly atmosphere and the food was delicious. Our food was out in no time after ordering. Tiffany was our waitress and she was perfect!! Thanks again Dubs for helping make our daughter’s 16th birthday celebration so much fun. We will definitely go back !!!!

My new favorite place in Savannah. Atmosphere was great and JT was an awesome bartender. Food came out steaming and yummy. Sports bar atmosphere with class if you can put those 2 words together.

For a guy named Dub, it was the perfect place for a bit of early evening noshing. Really liked the fried corn on the cob, great seasonings. Corn dog was good, fries really good. Very friendly servers, too.

We loved dubs when we lived in Savannah. We went almost weekly for trivia and dinner and always enjoyed the food, atmosphere and staff. Now when we visit Savannah we always try to stop by for a meal and we were excited to be able to do so today. Not only did we enjoy the great food but our waitress, Tiffany, was amazing with my little boys. My 3 year old even have get a hug when we left and it usually takes him a bit to warm up to know people. Can't wait to come back!

Came in because there was live music. Jeremy Riddle was excellent. Staff friendly and professional. Want to make it a regular stop in Savannah.

I recently had a private party upstairs at Dub's. The food was better was fantastic, the general manager Jared was great and even met with me the day before to ensure everything would go smoothly. The events coordinator Melissa made sure everything was in order leading up to the event and responded to every email and phone call promptly. The bartenders (Carlos especially) and the wait staff could not have been friendlier. There were zero complaints from guests at the party and it was even asked that I recommend this to next year's party planning committee to have it at Dub's again. I am a local Savannah resident and am always hesitant of restaurants that I have never been to. Dub's will now be a part of my list that give to everyone as a place to hold a private event or grab a quick bite to eat downtown! Thanks for making our graduation party a huge success!

I think that the food at this place is underrated because a lot of people wander in after drinking too much on River Street to appreciate it. Their hummus plate is tasty as are their shrimp and grits.

Decent for beer and chicken fingers. We dropped by on a Sunday afternoon for some beer and a snack. Buckets of beer are priced as you would expect for a River Street location. We split an order of chicken fingers and fries. The chicken fingers were good enough, but I would have probably cooked them a tad bit longer for my taste. We did like their hand-cut fries.

The atmosphere is casual and relaxing. Our waitress was prompt and attentive. It was not that loud even with TVs playing sports. All the other patrons seemed to be enjoying their meals and drinks. Dubs is on the far end of River Street so might not be noticed by many tourists.

Dubs - great food on River Street. My family and I went to Dubs for dinner on a Saturday night. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed! The jalapeño beer cheese with pretzels was the perfect appetizer, and our party of eight enjoyed a variety of items off the menu. Everything was fresh and arrived at our table within a few minutes off each other. The value and quality of the food is better than most on River Street and I was truly impressed. My only complaint was that the live band was a little loud, but we were able to sit towards the back of the restaurant and the music was pleasant. I would definitely recommend Dubs for a night out downtown!

Wonderful! Their happy hour is unequal and their food was amazing. Different from your "Savannah norm" it's nice to get a quality sandwich with homemade crisps (chips) instead of seafood galore. My husband and I both had sandwiches. They were so well crafted and absolutely delicious down to the last detail. Take the extra walk down river st and GO HERE! So great!

Good food, service ok. We chose to eat here based on other reviews and definitely agree that the food is good, but disappointing service. Ordered the wings, fries, and side salad - all were delicious. The bartender had the volume up for the Mets game and, being in Savannah, we wrongly assumed he would mute that game in favor of the Braves on the opposite tv. No luck. Even when live music started in next room, he did not adjust the volume. Weird. Also had to request basic items: utensils, ketchup, mayo. I come to Savannah fairly often and would give it another chance just b/c most of River St food is generic.

Lovely place!. Dub's is a hidden gem on River Street! Both my husband and I loved the atmosphere and more importantly, the food! Dub's was the first place we ate upon coming into town this past Sunday and our waitress was SO helpful in providing suggestions of where we should eat and places to see during the rest of our visit. Our favorite of her suggestions was Zunzi's! I can't disagree more with the reviews below about the service.

If you find yourself at Dub's, try the tacos! My husband absolutely died for the burger with their house beer cheese. Can't wait to come back to Savannah and eat at Dub's! Oh, the wings were amazing to! Perfectly cooked. I really regret not trying the cupcake...

Great New Hidden Gem in SAV!. This place is amazing, you have to venture a little further down the west end of the river than you might normally, but it's worth it. My friend from California was visiting and she said the tacos rivaled any she has had in southern cali--thats saying something. She had the crispy pork belly and the shrimp tacos and i had a tempeh reuben (so hard to find good veggie food in Savannah!). also the bartenders were super knowledgeable about all the craft beers and cocktails. Try their jalapeno vodka in their bloody-amazing for a sunday afternoon! new favorite spot in sav

Go here right now. If you like bars, this is the place for you. Not only do they have a great selection of beer, they have televisions galore, and then they have a game room featuring 2 ping pong tables, two dart boards, shuffleboard, and pool! If you are hungry, they have great food, and the bartender and server we had were excellent! Friendly and fun to talk to, and they even let us sample some of the new beers they got in before we bought them. Why there weren't more people there is crazy to me. Created an account just for them so get the word out!

Favorite New Restaurant and Bar. Third time I've been at Dubs and still haven't been disappointed. If you are a fan of local savannah bars such as the new B&Ds on Congress, WWings, and Churchills this a place that you need to stop for a drink and meal. Burgers are an incredible combination of short rib, sirloin and chuck which produce something incredible. Beers on draft are all on point and the sports bar theme with a TV in every corner makes it easy to view any game on. The second floor also serves as a venuefor bands they bring on the weekends

Biggest surprise in Savannah? In many respects, It might been Dub's Pub, also called Dubs, a Public House. It was near where we were staying, easy to access via stairs and an alleyway. They are advertised on Urban Spoon as a gastropub, though it was hard to tell when we went. They were down to only tacos when I arrived. Their beer selections are good, however, and they sell beer flights. A flight is 5 different selections of beer, 4 ounces each, all for a reasonable price. I had never had Tybee Blonde before, and sandwiching that between a Bells and a Allagash wasn't so bad at all.

Great everything! Had a Dub’s burger and it was cooked perfectly! It tasted amazing! I also had a Sex on the River cocktail, and it was great as well! They were pretty busy, and I appreciated how hard my waitress was working to accommodate her whole section. I will be back!

My husband & I ate at Dub's for the first time yesterday afternoon. I had the catch of the day (Swordfish) & my husband had the steak & cheese sandwich which is made from NY Strip. Everything was absolutely delicious! The service was great as well as the atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

Definitely not a bad place to sit, watch a ball game, and eat sports bar food ! We are staying across the street at the Marriott and wanted a “quick snack” before our dinner reservations at 7:15pm at the chophouse. I got the fried corn on the cob, pretzels with jalapeño beer cheese and my husband got the loaded tater tots. The food was exactly as expected. But the service was so SLOW. We waited at least 10mins before a waitress ever came and acknowledged us. Then, another 5 to get the cokes we ordered. The food came fairly quick- we only got apps… drinks took forever for a refil, and we waited forever to get our check and then also waited awhile to pay our check ! I finally grabbed another server and asked him if we could please pay so we can leave. He then disappeared and neither of them have come back yet. (Ok waitress finally returned. I won’t have to sleep here) So, I’m not knocking this place entirely but, you definitely need to know what to expect. If you’re in a rush, pass it up entirely. But, if not…. It’s a nice relaxing place for a bite to eat - just not a “quick” bite to eat. Nothing overly amazing. It’s sports bar food. I previewed their menu before coming here and so I knew what to expect. The atmosphere is definitely relaxed ! :)

Best burger I have had in a long time. The bartender was unsure at first how to make a bourbon old fashion but she made an excellent drink. The server was excellent and made you feel welcomed. I highly recommend you stop by for delicious food.

My sister and niece shared a nice dinner and cocktail here on a Wednesday evening. It wasn't busy, and we were quickly seated. The food was better than expected - we had the quesadilla, shrimp fries, and loaded nachos. The service was great, and it's located right across from the Riverwalk.

Adorable little place to eat and excellent food! My hubby and I ordered nothing but appetizers, including pretzels and beer cheese, fried pickles, cheese bites, and chips and blue cheese dip. O...M...G...they were delicious and we got full off of all of it. Gotta check out this little place for sure! Plus our waitress was super sweet and attentive!

Stopped at Dub's at 225 W River St, as a nice lady at a clothing store suggested Dub's to us, so off we went. Got there after the noon rush and we'd suggest you plan on scheduling your dining time away from the noon hour or maybe 5 - 7pm. I got the Dub's Burger, which comes with Dubs bacon, jalapeno beer cheese, spicy ketchup, and fresh jalapeno. An order of fries rounded out my meal, and my with had the Old Fashioned Cheeseburger (with bacon) with Tater Tots as her side. Our waitress was very friendly, served us promptly and gave us some tourist recommendations. The food was EXCELLANT. Clean restaurant, clean restrooms, and just a neat place to eat. Good job, Dub's !!!

It was a very nice diner and the service was very kind and pleasant. Ate 2 shrimp tacos, that I can highly recommend. To my mind there were too much televisions but all in all was it a nice stay. Also recommend it for larger groups (little reminder: 20% service charge for groups over 7 people)
