Upon arriving in Savannah for the first time, we decided to support a local brewery, and tried Moon River Brewery. It’s in the heart of the historical district and a short walk from the river.

Always wanted to go since I seen the episode of Ghost Adventurers when they went to the Moon River Brewing Company. I felt an instant calmness when I entered into the restaurant. Nice atmosphere and the waitress we had was very friendly and courteous. Highly recommend.
This is a MUST for any Savannah visit. This historic building was the first hotel, post office and bank in the city and has been standing since 1821. The atmosphere is incredible. Reportedly haunted, as it has been featured on Ghost Adventures etc, but I had no encounters of my own 😊

The food tasted great. We had the pecan chicken and a moon burger with fries. It was not as much food as you get at the Pirate House, but not as expensive. The waitress was very friendly and the food came out quick. My only complaint was I asked for the burger well done and it was pink in the middle
Well we didn't see a ghost 👻. But, we did have some great adult beverages and food. Overall I think everyone had a good time and our server was very attentive and even brought us ghost tour brochures which I felt was above and beyond. Well done!
Great brewery down by the river, outside patio perfect for a place to lounge with your dog. Full menu service also on the patio. Definitely recommend starting with the beer flight which is only $20 and helps you identify the perfect beer for a full pour
Really cool spot with good drinks and lovely outdoor seating. The staff are okay. The bartender was on the phone while we're waiting to order at the bar but she was nice after that. It's a good spot to stop for a drink if you are in the area I would recommend.
Easily accessible on Bay St, we hit this place twice for a quick appetizer and some beers. We were seated quickly and service was attentive, even with some large groups in the restaurant. We didn’t do a beer flight, but did sample almost all of their offerings nonetheless. All were superb. My least
Great dog friendly patio, covered outside bar with TV's, vegetarian options, great food, beer, and service. Parking garage is more expensive than I thought so try to find a meter. Very walkable area.
Not sure why Moon River was only 3.9 stars. The service was awesome! Why? Erin, our waitress, made our experience at Moon River Brewing Company quite enjoyable and memorable. This wrap was filled with flavor. Every bite was accompanied by delicious parmesan and juicy bites of chicken. The Ceasar dressing was so so good. I thoroughly enjoyed the crispy French fries. I love a good fry!

DELICIOUS food! Our group ordered the Moon River Burger, Bratwurst, Chicken sandwich, and pulled pork, and everyone was extremely satisfied. Crispy fries and amazing slaw! The service was very friendly, food was cooked quickly and accurately. CLEAN restrooms!!!
