It's always a plasent place not too noisy, Mexican music in the background. Our waitress was young and new to the job and so very nice. We wish her luck.

Came here for lunch for the first time today, it was absolutely delicious! Couldn't finish my plate, so I got a to go box to take it home to finish! Portion size was great, staff was friendly and very quick! Definitely going to come back more often!

Hits the spot for $6..... We really enjoy cilantros on bay st. it has a new, clean, pleasant atmoshere, friendly staff and convenient location if you're wandering around the tourist area. mind you, this (as most "mexican" restaurants) is not authentic cuisine, okay? do not expect it to be. what it actually is...the common plate of hot refried beans, rice, that typical taco and enchiliada-common fare. it's good, hot, plentiful and it comes to the table fast. the inexpensive lunch specials come with a choice of chicken or ground beef and lots of chips & tasty salsa. seating is mostly tables and chairs with one long wall length booth in back. in more balmy weather, sit out back by the water fountain that separates cilantros from ruth's chris and enjoy a margarita or cold beer. just go & enjoy!

Great time except for the server on his phone. I came into eat his past sunday for a late lunch. We had a new server, but she did an excellent job. The food came out quickly and tasted awesome. My only complaint was that there was another server standing around on his phone. I wasn't sure if he was texting or playing a game. It seemed like everytime he moved he was using his phone. Found it distracting and unprofessional. Can't think that the manager would allow this. I would think there would be a better place to do this then in the front of the restaurant.Otherwise, the experience was very good. I do hope that this isn't a common practice.
Great food. My only issue was that we asked for their hottest sauce and it was mild at best. Otherwise it was great
My favorite fajitas!. My husband and I love Cilantros! I'm so glad we had eaten there numerous times before I read these negative reviews! Had I read them first, I would have never entered the place...
We moved to Savannah (Wilmington Island) over a year ago and have tried three or four other Mexican restaurants, but Cilantros is still our favorite. We love their service and their food. And, I don't have a clue who owns the place and I don't really know anyone who works there... so this review is "for real".. If you haven't tried it, you should give it a try!
Tasty Food - Great Service - Dog Friendly. Nothing beats a freezing cold beer on a hot evening while sitting on the porch at Cilantros. Tim, Lucille and I enjoyed the sunset on the porch at Tubby's on River St and then headed to Cilantro's for some very tasty and fresh mexican food. There are WAY to many items to choose from, but we had very tasty and quick meals with friendly service. There were 2 other labs on the patio to keep Lucy company.
The chips are fresh, salsa spicy and the beer FREEZING cold.
I would have given five stars, however, the margaritas are weak. Not much alcohol and the margarita mix tastes cheap. I had to order a shot for a margarita that I'd already paid too much for. The food is really good. I had the arroz con pollo and it was very well seasoned and the rice was delicious. The service is wonderful and the placed was packed full of people and my server still provided phenomenal service.

Good options are plentiful, but it’s cooked well and spiced appropriately. Good Margaritas as well. Salsa is on point too (which is a challenge for places).
We are frequent customers and enjoy the food and great waiters and staff. Stephan, Judy, and Gigi are among our favorites. They are always friendly, attentive and make sure that we enjoy our meals with them. Always a pleasure to eat at Cilantros!
We enjoyed it very much. Food was good and prices reasonable. The drink prices were not listed. We asked about the prices for small, medium, and large Margaritas and were told small was $5 and medium was $8 and it was unclear about the large size. We ordered medium Skinny Margaritas. Turned out when we got the bill, they were $12 each. Guess we should have kept asking questions. Anyway, we enjoyed our meals, of Vegetable Quesadilla with salad and Three Shrimp Tacos, both with a side of Refried Beans.
Been eating at Cilantro’s since they opened on Wilmington Island. Can’t say enough about this restaurant and their staff!! They are a part of our extended family! I’ve had to make some drastic changes to my diet that would keep me from eating most of the foods here. Marelyn the manager put together an amazing meal for me that not only fit my new diet, but was amazing!! Thank you Marelyn and staff!!!
Nice early afternoon meal! Staff is top of the line and really cares about customer service.
It was pouring down outside and a mother with 2 small kids was having lunch. Server offered to watch kids while the mom pulled their car up to the front door. Then 2 staff members walked the kids outside and helped them into the car. When they came back in, 1 discovered the mother had left a belonging behind, so the server ran back out to the car before they pulled away.

Cilantro’s is a great place to relax and have a good meal after a long week. It has a relaxing atmosphere, good vegetarian options, and delicious margaritas!

Best in my local area but sometimes I will drive further for that at home "Texas" Mexican cooking. I just feel this place has gotten to commercial for what it was a year ago. I will say that there is no hesitation to come here after a long day and not wanting to cook myself. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable about the menu. Very clean.
