Gabriel our server provided friendly attentive professional service. Gina really blessed us with her attention and care for my wife's service dog even bringing her a bowl of water on a silver platter and took her out for a short walk. Oh, the food. The food was delicious with beautiful presentation, savory and filling. The ambiance was wonderful and well appointed. I wonderful experience for our anniversary. Beautiful! This mansion turned restaurant is absolutely a wonderful dining experience. Each room is individually decorated and presents the diner with an artfully appointed decor that is rich with history. Our server was not only well acquainted with the menu but also took us on a tour through the home ... thank you,Mccall. The food was perfectly done and artfully presented. A great place for an Anniversary dinner while in Savannah. Dinner for 2 w/o alcohol ~ $145. Look forward to another trip.
The service, food and ambiance were excellent. The wait staff was very nice and accommodating to our kids. Food was well done. We left very happy. The building is great to explore. I would definitely walk around the building after your meal. The location is central to Savannah and the neighborhood is great to walk around in. Would definitely visit again.
The food & service was fantastic! The host relayed that the “house” was once used as a convent and we were allowed to tour the establishment. Sheena (event manager) showed us the wine cellar … everyone went out of their way to make certain we had a great experience. Would highly recommend
What can I say? It's not just about the food but the experience. It was raining and we were greeted by this beautiful woman who let us in a little early before they opened so we wouldn't be drenched. They served us their home-made bread which was amazing!! It was so thick it looked like a piece of cake. Our server Mel, was so attentive and recommended a wonderful northern italian wine. The food was so incredible but the experience was a memory that will last for a long time. I can't wait to come back!!!

From being greeted at the door to exiting happy and full, the service, foods and ambience is wonderful. It is our 41st wedding anniversary so La Scala was a genuine treat. Our server was Gabriel. Always smiling, polite, attentive without being invasive, Gabriel assured our evening was special. House baked focaccia with seasoned olive oil to begin our culinary adventure, Creamy Crab Soup for me and an authentic Caesar Salad (real and present anchovy!) for appetizers, and Mediterranean Chilean Bass for my husband with lasagna al forno for myself. The lasagna was completely and delightfully reminiscent of my Nonna 's. Because we're both involved in the hospitality / tourism industry in Savannah we like to introduce ourselves to management, get menus, business cards, etc. We met Gina - a very gracious host. My service dog was well behaved, and Gina took her out for a walk! I was born nervous and thrilled. I am happy with the entire experience as is my husband and my trained service dog. ☺️ Gina brought Nyla a bowl of cool water - yes - on a silver platter! Me and my fiancée celebrated our engagement here and we couldn’t have had a better experience!! The server we had, Jacob, was absolutely phenomenal, hilarious, and very attentive to our needs and meals! He’s got an amazing personality and a wonderful smile, and made sure that my partner’s food allergy needs were met as well!
The manager on staff, Lisa (I hope I remembered that right!), was fantastic and it was lovely to meet her! Same goes for Shena who is the event coordinator and we were able to exchange information for future venue endeavors!! (Plus her website is super cool 😎)
The food was not only delicious but wonderfully plated and as someone who also works as a cook, I thank the BOH staff personally for the great work they put forward 🖤
The decor and atmosphere is impeccable and I love the maximalism inside the place it’s truly stunning- especially the upstairs venues! Every room is modeled after an Italian city or period of time and it’s absolutely gorgeous!

Last night was our 2nd tune there! 1st time was in 2019 and we got to tour the entire property. Both times our experience has been incredible. Love the ambiance, the food, the little bar in a room... just the entire experience is just awesome. Our server John was so nice!
We had an amazing evening at the beautiful La Scala restaurant! The ambiance was enchanting, the service was superb, and the food was out of this world! The handmade pasta was to die for and the sauce, so flavorful! Our server suggested a lovely red wine to pair with it. My husband had the salmon and our friend had rack of lamb, which they loved! Unfortunately we didn’t save room for dessert. We will definitely go back again and again! The manager so graciously gave us a tour of the beautifully restored mansion. What a night to remember! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We waited briefly for our table and were entertained by a charming singer who took requests and made easy conversation. We were seated by the general manager who was friendly and accommodating. Our waiter, Kiki, was kind and attentive and did a fabulous job taking care of us. Try the watermelon cooler cocktail - so refreshing! The food was divine! We all ordered something different and enjoyed every bite. Excellent experience! Highly recommend.

We had a lovely dinner. Everyone was very pleasant and friendly from the kitchen staff to the hostess. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and was very attentive. The architecture was amazing through out the restaurant. If you prefer an outdoor setting they have a beautiful courtyard. Looking for a wedding venue for a small wedding this could be your place. Highly recommend!
Just wonderful!! The décor was beautiful. AJ, our waiter, was pleasant and cheerful. The food was AMAZING with so much flavor and cooked to the perfect tenderness/crisp. And oh my the portions were larger than expected - which is fine with me as I enjoyed my meal again the next night. I had the Eggplant Parmigiana as my appetizer, Mediterranean Sea Bass as my main course, followed with the Raspberry Cheesecake. I paired this with the Remo Farina red wine. Delicious... MUAH!

We actually had plans to go eat at another restaurant but really wanted to try this place out so we decided to hit it up for cocktails and appetizers, unfortunately we had called and they were booked! So we knew it was a long shot but we went anyways, when we walked in we were greeted by Candice the event coordinator and told her we had called and knew they were full but wanted to see if we could sit at the bar. When I tell you she was fabulous I mean it! She was able to get us spots eat the bar and made it possible to have dinner as well! When I tell you the food and service was FABULOUS I am not lying! Pierce and Cheynne at the bar were the best, we had the best time chatting with them getting to know them and just overall enjoyed hanging out at the bar! The food was top notch, from the drinks to the appetizers to dinner and dessert everything was so yummy! Candice took the time to tell us about the history of the house, showed us some of the historical side of it, which was amazing and the house is beautiful. Ms Diana Rogers, the singer, spent time sitting and chatting with us as well! She was such a sweet lady and had a life story to tell! We will 100% be back the next time we are in Savannah and can’t wait to dine with them again!

The linguini alle vongole was some of the best pasta I ever had and the bruschetta was incredible! Went here for my wife’s birthday and was immediately greeted by the nicest and friendliest hostess ever, Gina. Once we sat down, we were served right away with great servers and staff. They were so nice and even gave my wife and I champagne to celebrate the occasion as well as some desert. The manager and singer came and had a conversation with us and was above and beyond what you could ask for in service. I’m recommending this restaurant to all my friends and family and will be coming here all the time for now on! I highly recommend.
One of the best meals we have had! It’s pricey but delicious. Portions are generous. We opted to split our 4 courses and it was plenty. We had the bruschetta, caprese salad 🥗 , lasagna and tiramisu! All fantastic. Great, friendly staff with good advice and live music. Left feeling like we had made new friends. Atmosphere is beautiful, 1889 house with Italian art.
