Both Inside and outside of business aren't anything special to look at but that doesn’t take away from the friendly service the min you walk in. I went with the reviews and got the lamb but the gyro platter. It was good carved out fresh in front of you if you’d like to see as the kitchen is right over the counter if you’re curious the hummus was good some of the pita bread were stale so take away some points there the salad wasn’t anything crazy. I also ordered a shrimp gyro wasn’t anything to rave about little breaded shrimps thrown in a pita with some greens and sauce. All in I would go back for the lamb it is good the rest ehh
The gentlemen does not know only about middle eastern food but a lot about history, culture and politics. The food was delicious and it tastes more like a home cooked, the lady cook is really good at her job.
The gentlemen has a cozy shop and can sit almost 5-8 people in a tightly packed area.
The shop has historical pictures of medina and other locations.
Be sure to strike a conversation with him and you`d learn something new.

Food was good! Especially loved the baba ghanoush and smokey flavor in it and on the lamb meat. The owner is so kind and checks in with every customer. Definitely worth a stop!
Wildly delicious!! Small (hole in the wall type) place.. very authentic!! By far the best gyro I’ve ever had.. and I’m a big gyro girl. Everything about this place is wonderful. Will never be able to get a gyro from anywhere else after having one from here. **A+ 10/10**

Hole in the wall and the food was absolutely amazing! Omg I literally finished it in 5 mins. I got the beef gyro and fries. Also had a side of falafel! Sooo good! Can’t wait to come back and try more off the menu!
This is an original Arabic restaurant. The owner came from Jordan. It is a small place but very interesting to visit. I had a Gyro which was good, lots of meat on it and made fresh. They also have a variety of other dishes and products from the Mediterranean for sale there.
It's a place you should visit at least once.
The owner is very hospitable.
He says they have been at that location for over twenty years.

Been going to this place for years and years. A very hardworking family grinds to make the best middle eastern food I've had since. It's very clear that this is a place where the owner cares about the quality of their products, and the people that eat them.
I had the falafel pita, baklava, and dawali. I think the pita was grilled with oil before being served, and it was both crispy and savory. The falafel inside was tender and flavorful. Overall, I feel that Al Salaam's owners put in that extra bit of attention to their food to make it special.

Absolutely the best. Tasty kebabs and other items. Family ran. Small place but cute a my d cozy. You feel like you are in the Middle East. Pride in the place is evident. I am going to cater a move release this Tuesday and this place has my business.

I've lived here for years and driven by this place so many times! Finally I decided to stop in for lunch. Food is delicious, fresh pita, friendly service. Great take out option for lunch especially if you're looking for something fresh, quick, and affordable. Also, good spices and grocery items if you're looking for specialty items that are hard to find (zataar, sumac, etc.) I definitely will be back!
Very friendly atmosphere. Lots of locals eating there at lunch. Only a couple small tables. Most people get their food on the run
