Hard to find good bagel in town No More!!! Fresh and not air puffy, with many good flavor options. Croissants are melting in your mouth! New York style lunch selections are big hit too! Never too little! Family owned and operated cafe has been best of the bests for many years! Haven't try it yet??!

While the south has many fine qualities, an abundance of proper bagels was not one of them - until now! This is the only place that I’ve found in Savannah that makes good bagels. They’re prefect! A little crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. Plus they have a really great variety and their scallion cream cheese is killer!
I had lox and bagels, which isn't at the top most restaurant establishments in Savannah, GA. But the Everything Bagel was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside with a pleasant bready flavor. . . . and the Everything flavor was on both the top and bottom of the bagel! The smoked salmon was salty and just the right amount of fishy, and the shmear of cream cheese was perfect, as were the capers and onion. It does have a crowded Manhattan deli feel: elbow-room is at a premium during busy times. But if you're looking for an excellent sandwich and speedy service, even when they are busy, stop in and try it out. They do not disappoint.
As my husband and I were leaving Savannah we were searching for a place to have breakfast. Not having a clue as to which restaurant to pick on the list we were drawn to the Midtown Deli & Bagel Shop as we are former New Yorkers. We were pleasantly surprised with the excellent bagel sandwiches. We got back on the road and continue our journey back down to Florida. Four hours later we realized that my bag was not with us We backtracked our steps and realized we left the bag at the bagel shop we called them and spoke to the owner Lana. She graciously offered to send my bag to me. We are so thankful for her and her staff’s kindness on top of excellent food we received. Such wonderful hospitality we cannot wait to go there again when we travel back to Savannah.
Hands down one of the best little secrets of Savannah. This place has the best sandwiches i am not kidding. Ever since I randomly stopped in for a quick bite, I was quite impressed with the service. Friendly staff and the food was so awesome that I practically go everyday or every other day for either a breakfast or lunch sandwich. My new go to now!!!!
I stopped by because I heard so many good reviews and I had to see for myself. I ordered a large coffee and a plain bagel with ham, cheese, and egg and it was superb! I thoroughly enjoyed the texture and taste of the ingredients combined. The customer service and atmosphere was also very welcoming and friendly and I will be sure to return!
I have always loved this place from the mid 90's when I had to go to Savannah tonreport to the Marine Corp reserves. I drive up sometimes just to ho here. No where else that I know of within 100 square miles can make a real bagel. They can. Then they have amazing service for the huge crowds that are always there. Amazing sandwiches for lunch. Last time I passed a bagel up and got a Rueben and man was it amazing. Never had anything even leaning towards ok. Always amazing.
After trying to find a solid bagel in the city of Savannah, we ended up reading positive reviews of this business. Making a great bagel is a challenge, and this place makes a really good bagel! It's soft, but not gummy or undercooked, and enough structure to not be brick like. Excellent bagels options (and topping selections with cream cheeses or egg+cheese), and exceptional staff at this location. Will continue coming back for this in the morning/mid mornings!
Delicious bagels! The man taking orders this morning just wasn't very good at communicating or listening. For some reason he thought I ordered cream cheese on my bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. I was a little shocked to discover that when I got home with my order.
The food is great, would definitely recommend and come back. However, they offer 10% discounts to military, police and fire and NOT nurses. And they are adamant about that. And that’s just a bit offensive at this point.

My husband and I drove out of our way to visit this authentic bagel joint. I'd shown him a picture of a cream cheese and lox bagel the night before, and as a lox lover, his craving was tremendous enough that we were willing to drive forty minutes out of Savannah to give it a try. When they told us they were out of lox, we were crushed. The guys at the counter were kind enough to direct him to a lox cream cheese that had small pieces of lox speckled throughout, but of course it wasn't the same thing. So word to the wise - come early and/or call ahead if that's what you're gunning for.
My order was also a little disappointing, but that was mostly my own fault. I asked for a somewhat unconventional breakfast sandwich order. Since I don't eat meat, I asked for a fried egg in place of the cold cuts, and while my order raised a slight brow, they were able to do it for me. I asked for Cuban bread, which was my first mistake because they're clearly known here for their bagels. My second mistake was not explicitly asking for it to be toasted, which made for a super bready sandwich. Later, I overhead one of the workers wondering whether an Uber order should be toasted or not, and I heard her coworker directing her not to, since it was always best to "follow the orders exactly as it was stated." So it seems like these guys are great at follow through, so long as you're clear and direct about what you want.
There was plenty of seating space, and tables turned over fairly quickly even during a busy morning rush. A helpful table towards the front also has all the cups, water, napkins, and coffee refills you might need, which certainly makes the dine-in experience easier.
I eat Keto and LOVED the shrimp salad. One person with me had the cinnamon roll and loved that. The other two people with me had bagels and thought they were okay. The service was wonderful and they were very friendly.
I am not usually a bagel sandwich eater, but my wife suggested this place for breakfast while we were on vacation in Savannah, and I am so glad she did. The bagels were so tasty, every bite was more delicious than the last. We will definitely return when we are in town.
I called ahead to order the vegetarian beagle and I thought I would use the public transportation system to get there since I was visiting from out of state. Well the buss got me there an hour and a half late but when I showed up the staff was nice enough to make me a fresh sandwich at no extra charge! I was even pursuant about paying but they didn't accept. The sandwich was also very delicious I recommend it to any non meat eater visiting Savannah! Overall 10/10 highly recommend.

This place is incredible! Evan, Shift leader Chelsea, the other Chelsea and Taleiah were amazing to us. We felt like a nuisance coming in at 1:40 (right before they close at 2) not only was the food incredible as it’s a true NY style bakery/deli, but they treated us like family. I’m so glad my friend Alison recommended this place. 10/10 would recommend. We WILL be back!!
NYC instantly as soon as you walk in the door. I love the atmosphere, love the food, and the unlimited coffee choices when you dine in. If you haven't tried them out, then you are definitely missing out.
Did not even complete my very first meal from this place but i had to,had to leave a review. This lox smoked salmon platter is the best I've ever had. It is so satiating. Prep time was very quick. Service was great. I will definitely be ordering again.
