First time at this restaurant for my hubby's bday and by far our best found spot! I had the spicy jerk chicken and he had the curry goat everything was finger licking good! This is a must ! Staff was very nice and personable! We will definitely be back for more!

Happened upon this wonderful place this evening. The staff is so friendly and lovely and the food is amazing. Can't wait to go back again, until then I'll be dreaming about the crab cake. My husband feels the same about the creole shrimp and grits!

Picked up an order "to go" .....have been here 4 or 5 times. ...I really like the fact they cook their menu to order. ....love the spice. .....food always fresh, hot, and you can taste the " Island love" that goes into every dish! Great job guys☆

The best Caribbean food in the city of Savannah, Georgia! If anybody tell you different, they are lying! I recommend this place to anyone who wants something different and original. This is the only place where the chef comes out greet you when your food is done. If you think you know a better cook than Chef Pierre Baptiste tell them to challenge him. They will get embarrassed!

How hot do you like it. My lovely wife and I were here for lunch. It is a small clean restaurant. Two of the larger tables were chained off to keep people from sitting in a place meant for special occasions and large parties. Menus were place on the tables in lines that were of military precision. My wife decided on the "West Indies Homemade Grilled Burger" and it was delicious. Has a light Caribbean flavor. Just right. A great burger. Now here is where I went off the tracks. I ordered the Spicy Jerk Chicken Bowl. Now the nice lady that waited on me asked if I wanted it spicy. I said "not to spicy, don't set my hair on fire." Well I am sure I did not convey what I wanted well enough. Don't make that mistake tell them you don't want it spicy if you don't want your hair on fire. The chef brought me my chicken bowl and said spicy is good for you blood pressure. That should have been and may have been my warning. Well It was soooooooooooo spicy I could not eat it. Now here is another curious thing and I don't know if it is meant to be that way or not but the chicken was as we say in the south pulled or shredded and it was also filled with bones. Little chicken rib bones different kinds of bones. You have to be careful. I don't know as I said if it is supposed to be that way or it was an oversight.
The name says it ALL! I ate there twice, yesterday and today. I really think I can eat there everyday. The food has been fresh each time and the staff is very friendly. If you're searching for great Caribbean food.. The BEST Caribbean Cuisine is where you need to go! The prices are reasonable and they even have lunch specials. Military and law enforcement relieves a nice discount as well!!!! Love this place. 5 stars!!!!!!!!!
Some of the best food you will find in a strip mall!! Not what you would expect in Savannah - but oh so good!! Would go back. Loved the Jerk Salmon with the mango salsa.
Fantastic food and friendly staff. In a strip mall, but the restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. The food was delicious (Beef Legume with rice and a side of black beans). When I didn't know what to order, thechef greeted me and offered his personal recommendation. I will gladly return!
It's a small place in a strip mall but don't be fooled - this is great! We asked the chef for his two favorites, and were very happy with our fish creole and beef legume. The sides are great - especially the Mac and cheese. If you order your creole hot, be ready because it is!! All in all a delightful place with great food and real friendly service.
Chef Baptiste and his crew are simply wonderful. The food is delicious. The customer service is impeccable. You will find every effort being given for your dining experience to reach perfection. Don't forget to order the fresh, fabulous desserts!
You can't eat here just once!. The atmosphere is great, the service is wonderful and the food in phenomenal. I've had the curry beef, jerk salmon, curry chicken, creole shrimp spaghetti and the homemade beef patties all were a taste of heaven. Great place to take a love one or friends.

VERY FRIENDLY AND GREAT FOOD!. I came in today for the first time, everyone was very kind. Everything was seasoned well and the meat fell off of the bone. I got the sampler plate w 3 meats and 2 sides (ribs,jerk chicken, oxtail, beans n rice, cabbage and carrots). The food was great. if in savannah and craving carribean food come here.
So good!. We stumbled across this place over the weekend and were soooo happy with it! The service was fantastic and you could tell they really wanted us to have a good experience. I ordered the curry coconut shrimp with yellow rice and red beans, and it was absolutely delicious. I don't live in Savannah, but I will definitely be back next time I'm in town.
Awesome. Stumbled across this while travelling thru Savannah. Fresh food, fresh ingredients, super friendly service. Amazed to learn after the chef came out to speak to us he uses no salt! So much flavor with all natural spices. I had the creole gumbo,hubby had the curry chicken which was so tender fall off the bone delicious. Will most definitely be back next time we're in town. The West Indies oxtails are fabulous. Fall off the bone tender and so juicy. The rice and beans side dish was cooked in coconut milk. Our appetizer was sweet potato salad. Delicious!

The food is delicious, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are extremely friendly and want nothing more than to ensure your dining experience is a pleasant one.
Be sure to try one of their Caribbean fruit juices and be adventurous when ordering from the menu. You will NOT be disappointed!
Wonderful. This was my first experience with Caribbean food and I was blown away. The jerk chicken literally fell off the bone when I tried to pick it up. I had to eat if with a fork. The staff was amazing, they definitely complimented the restaurant's atmosphere with stories from their home country. Very polite and helpful. The restaurant itself is very clean and bright with a island vibe. I will definitely be going back.
Fantastic - Must Try!!. The atmosphere, service and food are all 100%. Comfortable, clean, bright and warm decor with outstanding, genuine service. I felt completely relaxed and was so excited by the menu. What to choose!? We had the jerk chicken with rice and peas and the Fish Creole steamed with rice and beans. OUTSTANDING! Our meals and sides were perfect. Attention to detail in the spices, flavor, texture color - it's all there. I wish this wonderful little place so much success!!

Awsome. We've been waiting for this place to open for a bit now, finally had a chance to go in and eat. Got to say, this was by far the best caribbean cuisine I have ate so far. The chef was on the money with the flavors and the staff was excellent. Will be going back again very soon.
Try it even if u don't know if u like it. Went there with 3 friends from work. None of us has had much Carribean. I have had it but never cared much for it. I was adventurous and went for the oxtails, which was delicious! The shrimp creole, beef stew, and patties were also great. The owner/chef and staff were all extremely friendly and wanted to make sure that we had what we wanted. Give it a shot!
My boyfriend and I ate the buffet there. The food was exquisite and the service was amazingly friendly. Comfort food with a Caribbean feel and super affordable. Highly recommend checking this place out!

💞Support our Black-Owned Businesses!! On 7-6-2018, I stumbled upon Best Carribbean Cuisine while looking for a "Real Food" restaurant after finishing work. Sooo happy I found this place!💟😄💟This is a cute little restaurant on Hodgson Memorial at Eisenhower. Their hours of operation are first lunch, then they close to prepare their dinner buffet; then re-open later around 5-ish for the dinner shift.
😘😘Excellent buffet!! Here, they serve you whatever you wish from their menu. I had their Spicy Jerk Chicken, Fried Fish, Cabbage, Rice & Beans, and Mac & Cheese. The chicken & fish was cooked nice & tender; veggies were nice & fresh; rice & beans and mac & cheese was old-school flavorful; and ALL of it was seasoned just right (also loved the crisp breading on the fish). 😍 Sweet Iced tea was delicious (had two glasses!) & the cake was to die for!
This, is wonderful Comfort-Food to have after a long day's work and to prove it, I dove right into it and completely FORGOT to take pictures for this Post beforehand! 😶😁
The entire staff are lovely, down-to-earth people--very polite. And the entire restaurant has a calm, relaxing vibe--perfect as an after-work spot. I highly recommend this Caribbean restaurant and will definitely be patronizing them again!
Absolutely wonderful food, the buffet was fantastic . Seasoned perfectly and didn't require anything but your fork! The sweet tea was amazing. Most importantly the customer service was A+. The staff took excellent care if us from entry to departure. Highly recommend you try this wonderful hidden gem.
I ate here on a whim and was very pleased. They provided outside seating but frequently checked on my group of 3 to ensure we were doing okay. The staff was friendly and jovial.
We all ordered specialty house drinks and were pleased with them though they were a bit on the natural sweet side. The food was delicious and appropriately spicy. I had the creole gumbo which I was not expecting to be particularly good as I'm from Louisiana and have seen many bastardized forms of it. But it was exceptional and exactly what I would consider a creole gumbo with a slight caribbean twist.
We eat here often and always have a wonderful experience. The owner always welcomes us warmly and remembers our faces when we arrive. The food is consistently delicious, the team is so accommodating and the atmosphere is authentic. We are never disappointed and leave very satisfied. Thank you.
Food was excellent. Service was great. Family friendly. Everyone made us feel welcomed and at home. Their all you can eat buffet was a great deal. I usually stay away from buffets since they are usually free for all's but here there is one person who serves the guest. If you are in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by.
I really like this place. The food is great. The food is fresh and hot. It makes me laugh, I think back when I was a young boy, i had to blow my food before i put it in my mouth because it was so hot. That's a great thing for me to experience a good hot meal. And that Mango juice is awesome.
Expectations exceeded!!! Came here because the dining area is larger than the other Jamaican/Carribean restaurant that is nearby. Will continue to come here because the food is prepared fresh to order and is truly amazing. Very friendly environment. Felt like I was eating at the home of a close family member (that knows how to cook). Added the address and contact info to my phone book because this is definitely one of new favorite places.
Literally amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! The gumbo is just like the Creole gumbo in Louisiana!!!!! I was so shocked that it tasted just like my mamas!!! The coconut shrimp is amazing and the plaintains are off the chain!!! I would literally eat here everyday if I could. The chefs are so so nice and are personally from Haiti so it's so special!!!!!! I love this place and you have to try it!!!!!

The Food Taste Excellent BUT, DONT EVER GET CARRY OUT. I got 1 large oxtail and 2 little pinky tips. Black Bean Puree was Good. Not taking away from taste of the food but the quantity versus price do not match.
My husband and I love Caribbean food, and this truly delivered not only the flavors we have been searching for, but the Ladies who work here made the whole experience fantastic! You should definitely give it a try.
