What a feast for the price!!! My sister and I went and expected small portions based on the price and were overwhelmed by the amount of food! I ordered the chicken strip special that came with two sides, which I selected the macaroni and cheese and french fries. My sister got the pulled barbecue pork, a side salad, and coleslaw. Her meal also came with buttered toast. We tried the honey mustard, ranch, and barbecue sauce. All had great flavors. We were so full we couldn't even finish the meal, let alone consider desert. Would highly recommend this family-friendly location. The food and value can't be beat! Wish we lived in the area to try more menu options 😀

Upon our arrival through their double doors, We were greeted by their friendly hostess. We were seated immediately. The booth table, seats and floor was clean. Our Server came to greeted us immediately with and asked what we would like to drink? Once she returned with our drinks(Sweet Tea and water with Lemon), We placed or dinner order of three(3) items: Fried Shrimp, Oyster and Scallops aling with Hush puppies and side salads(House and Caesar) along with Cheddar Bake Potatoe. One word...DEEELLISIOUSSS!!! It had been a very long time since We'd eaten at Carey Hillard's and the food is still Excellent!!!(See pictures) The servings are Hugh and yessss...We ended up taking a lot of it home. Everything was sooooo, sooooo good! A GREAT Place to dine with the whole family or large groups! We noticed that they have several banquet areas for large groups or parties! (Call for more information) And Yesssssss, We've decided to come back and this time bring the whole family!!! This was an absolute 💯 best way to begin a long holiday weekend...with scrumptious fried Seafood served in a wonderful atmosphere with Fantastic Service. See Y'all again soon!

Food was great, even though I was a little skeptical. My server was sweet and nice, but was busy. Smoked fried hot wings were great

You must get the onion 🧅 rings‼️ and then, get the chicken strips. Excellent‼️ my wife reported the deviled crab 🦀 was mighty good.

Parked at the curbside ordering place, a friendly lady explained the menu and took my order and had it ready before two songs could finish playing on the classic rock station. Ordered one pound of pulled BBQ, onion rings and hush puppies, love their hush puppies. The rest of the food was good too.

Macaroni and cheese was subpar, pulled pork plate was good, though the bread was saturated in butter. Brunswick stew was really good and tasty to me. Fries were bland, you have salt them to your liking. Kids loved the kids cheese pizza. Baked chicken wasn’t available which was what my wife originally wanted. Overall place was nice. Staff was friendly and our needs were taken care of.

My first time at Carey Hilliard's. I was impressed with a wider selection of seafood (and non-seafood) on the menu and even more impressed with the story behind the restaurant. I ordered the OYSTERS Ocean fresh with two sides. The oyster was fresh and delicious. The waitress was nice and professional. I would return next time I am in town. By the way, the Carey Hilliard's on Abercorn St. is within walking distance from many hotels nearby.

This was a suburb dining experience. The food was so tasty, and portion size was plentiful. Honestly, it reminded me of days gone by when a restaurant was actually serving their customers.

Very good food! Our server was a superb young man and checked our table quite often, even though it was late night and fairly busy. The Brunswick stew was new to me, very delicious and quite filling. The shift manager was also very attentive to our satisfaction! Overall, a very good dining experience.

I called in my order because I was kinda in a hurry. They told me it would be ready in 20 min. I called to confirm that it was ready and they said it was. I was instructed to pull around the building and park in the take-out area which I did. After waiting about 15 minutes I got one of the young ladies attention and I started to explain that I already called my order in before I could finish she cut me off and said that I wasn't in her section I would have to wait until whoever was over my section got to us. 10 min later a young lady walked up and I gave her my card to pay (and yes I still tipped) and she handed the card back and said she would be right back. She proceeded to walk inside and come out with an order which I assumed was ours. Nope. Then she walks back in and finally brings us our order. However it was missing the sweet tea and I love their sweet tea. So she goes in and what seemed like forever probably 3 or 4 min she comes back out with our tea. But the food was absolutely delicious. So I recommend when calling in a pick up order just walk inside .

We always get curbside Togo. Its fast and convenient, the food is always great! I love the cheddar bakes with a rack of ribs! The fried catfish and shrimp will not let you down. Nothing to fancy but hits the spot!

If your food isn’t good, you won’t survive in Savannah. Hot, fresh, and tasty, this Savannah staple is still a budget friendly choice for some hot and fast familiars! Bring your wallets, they’ve got some hard working people here who deserve to be tipped! And best of yet, they’ve got that old southern charm, the kind that can hold a conversation through the hustle and bustle. You heard it here first - EAT HERE!

Very nice dining experience. Food was fresh and hot. Delicious sweet tea. My waiter Tyler provided an excellent experience. He was attentive and responded to my needs with a great attitude. This is refreshing in today's dining environment. Everyone here from the greeter to the cashier were exceptional. Thank You!!!

Shrimp salad and Brunswick stew are great. Burger well done but still juicy. My husband had the grilled oysters that were more stewed than grilled, otherwise all we ate as well as the sides were really good.

Food was great. Watched several people just standing around while waiting for someone to seat us and several others. The hostess was cleaning tables. Guess she was only one capable of seating people. Waitress was pleasant but never came to refill tea.

This was our first time dining here and our waitress Latacia was so sweet and helpful. She answered all my questions and was such a delight . We had the onion rings app. And I had the seafood trio with both kinds of shrimp and the scallops along with the Krinkle fries and the potato salad. My husband had the ribs with same sides as me . We also ordered the chopped pork to make sandwiches later . I was very pleased with the taste of our food and the portions are very large for the price . I will definitely be returning to this fantastic family restaurant.

Enjoyed the restaurant and the service. Had shrimp and flounder both good. Service I received was good and friendly. Cost was about as expected. Was not ask about dessert. So did not try any. Would have been 5 star if things were just a bit better. Over all good. Will try again soon when back in Savannah.
