First visit here, wanted to try Korean. The food was good, but not quite worth the hour and 10 minutes it took to arrive at our table. Took almost 15 minutes for someone to even take our drink order. There was only 1 waitress on site for the entire restaurant. They were not swamped, but it was fairly busy. The only other complaint is that the very large a/c vent on the ceiling above our table kept dripping onto us and onto our food. I would not recommend sitting under any of the vents on a hot day. On the plus side, the fried dumplings were the best I've ever tasted!!! I will go back just for those and also the "appetizer plate" they serve to every table was absolutely delicious!!! It included cucumber kimchi, bean sprouts, potatoes, and cabbage kimchi. Thoroughly enjoyed all of it, with the exception of the cabbage kimchi. Did not care for it at all. But to each their own. They refill the "appetizers " at no extra charge. Which is a huge plus!! We will definitely eat from here again, however, we will be ordering pick up and not eating on site.
The food was amazing and our waitress ,Alita, was very nice and very awesome. Some of the best Korean food I have had outside of Korea. Would recommend to anyone. Stopped back several days in a row.
A 5 second wait to have our group of 3 seated. Drinks and food orders taking 4 minutes later. The appetizer arrived 4 minutes later, followed by the meal 4 minutes after that. Great tasting Beef Bulgogi, Spicy Beef Bulgogi, and Spicy Seafood plates. The meals included a sample of side dishes for the table.
Love this little place.... great korean food and the cabbage kimchi is absolutely freaking delicious. You can buy a container full for home!! I have yet to try a dish I didn't like from. A Restaurant that you must try. Just be aware that Dinner hours are 500- 830pm so it closes a little earlier that most other places.
This was my first time visiting, and I will definitely be back. It's a hidden gem for sure.
I had a lunch special and can't wait to make my way through the menu.
This is my favorite Korean spot! The food here is always fresh and tasty, and the service fast and friendly.
Great Korean food and service. It's definitely worth stopping in and taking in some great cuisine.
I have driven past Kimchi 2 thousands of times but never gave it a try, man have I been missing out! We stopped in on a Wed night at dinner time and the takeout business was hopping but sit dine in was empty. Our server was quick to the table, very friendly and got our order right away. I started with the dried dumplings which were probably the best I have ever had, Such a simple dish that had great flavor, were made fresh and had the usual dipping sauce. I ordered the Bibimbap with the fried tofu and beef, never had anything like this before I had to try it. The spicy sauce that comes with it has great flavor and isn't to overpowering with the heat. It came with a side dish of cucumber+cabbage kimchi, potatoes and a coleslaw which were all delicious. My friend got the Japchae which he said was full of flavor and not spicy at all. I would say that if you have never had Korean food this is a great place to start, the menu is very clear as to what is in each dish and the staff can answer any questions. I can guarantee you that I will be back.
I've been here multiple times and every time the food is incredible! The service is amazing and the atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. I always come home with leftovers!!
I'm certainly not an expert on Korean food but I appreciate the open layout and relaxed atmosphere while searching through the menu for something that might peek my interest. I've tried a few things here. I really like the glass noodles with beef. It's very soft and tasty. The fried potsticker style appetizer was fresh tasting and very crispy. The staff here are nice looking, friendly people. They're patient and the food comes out fast. I wish I could recommend other specific items, but I myself am still feeling out all that they have to offer, dig? I like the vibe and the big tvs with the K-pop playing in the background. I feel comfortable here and maybe next time I'll connect with something on the menu that makes my stomach happy.
Since moving to Savannah, this has been one of my favorite places to eat. Their food is excellent, but I always most look forward to the side dishes that they offer (free with your meal!). Even now that they do not offer dine-in you get sides of kimchi, potatoes, & cucumber. If you like Korean food, check it out. If you don't know if you like Korean food, this is a GREAT place to find out. My only complaint for takeout is the use of Styrofoam packaging. I promise you won't be disappointed and I can't wait to dine in again!
Nice place to go. Great food and service.
This was my first time eating here and I've lived in Savannah 45 years. I had been missing out. The food was very good and the service was great.
Great authentic Korean restaurant with friendly staff and very fair prices. Lunch specials are a fantastic deal and provide enough food for an average guy.
Have been coming here for years now. The food is so consistently good and the service is always delightful and friendly. Would not change a thing about this place.
Serving Korean standards like seafood pancake, bulgogi, and japchae (sweet potato noodles), with K-pop on several TV screens. Food was good and prices reasonable, but the dining room was surprisingly full on the weeknight we went and service was slow.
Honestly this place is a great reflection of Korean dining. The food is incredible, it is authentic and it's reasonably priced - particularly for the lunch crowd. The only real improvement I'd hope for is more than the four sides they have for lunch. Wish they had bean sprouts or something like that. There are some places that have more sides, but they're a bit more expensive.
