Stopped next door to this place to grab a few tools... though I'd check it out that Meatloaf hit the spot without a doubt in my opinion best Mac and Cheese I've ever had... dude running the counter was real cool...
I Highly recommend this place! If you haven't eaten here you haven't eaten good food. The owner is kind and courteous and the food is phenomenal. The restaurant is clean. If you live in the Windsor Forest area you must try this...if you don't live in the area come by whenever you're on the South Side you won't be disappointed.
Although not on the menu, you can order a veggie plate consisting of 4 sides or more. Doesn't disapoint. My daughter ordered the fried chicken. The breast was huge I tell you, huge.
Yum yum yum yum yum! The food is good, the service is good, and the dessert is delicious. You definitely have to try this out.
Everything was great! The tea wasn't your original southern sweet tea but for $1 who's complaining. I had a few refills. My wife had those yams. I must say the best I've ever tasted and she said the same for the liver besides her moms but who does admit that. Mac n cheese was perfect. Just the right amount of cheese. Price for 2, can't beat it. Thanks for a wonderful meal. We will be back

The food is excellent the service is outstanding and very friendly if they don't know you by name they definitely knows you by face. I eat there 3 to 4 times out the week because the price is so cheap.
Got the chicken philly, I have never been so impressed with a sandwich. Simple and so delightful. The staff was sweet as could be and I will be back. Yummy!!
The word "Cafeteria" threw me off, because this place is beyond far from a cafeteria!

I always enjoy dining with my daughter. She had her customary burger.....which overlapped her bun. DELICIOUS. I have probably everything on the menu since they opened. Excellent food at mire than excellent prices. You will not walk out hungry. Try their deserts. YUMMY.
Best burger, fries, wings and everything! Y'all cook lima beans like my grandmother did!!!!

I visited this place because I was looking for a new place to eat that was affordable and good. This has to be one of the best places to get food on the go while still looking for that good southern cooking. I got fried fish and I have to say that it smelled and tasted amazing. I was a bit skeptical at first, but I'm going back for more.
I’ve been coming here for 4 years. Everything is delicious, fried chicken is super juicy, and the collards are perfect. Never had a bad experience here. Also Marcus is the homeboy and he hooks every order up to make it perfect. Highly recommended
Great food that I don't have to tolerate, but I actually enjoy. Desserts are great also as well as the prices. I like the small town feel of the business here where they seem to actually care about their customers. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
Very nice Simple place. Clean. Food was delicious and you can't beat the price. 5.99 for meat and 2 sides. Great deal. I tried the fried pork chop, fried okra and lime beans. Delicious.

Every time I come in, it's always jammed packed, with only 1 or 2 working. The man that runs the front counter who i assume is the manager or owner is always pleasant and friendly. The food is hot and fresh and portions are large. Their hard work is definitely not going unnoticed
Good Southern home cooking.
One of the best places to get affordable and quality southern food in Savannah. I usually work during their open hours and my lunch break is after they closed so the days I get to go are special ones! Great fried chicken, fried okra, and fish is great too. Recommended!
Delish southern food at a great price. We had the fried chicken, country fried steak and meatloaf. We really liked the vegetables too: okra and tomatoes, fried okra, mac n cheese, collards, squash. Everything yummy and reasonably priced.
Seriously the best fried pork chops in Savannah. The choice of sides are all wonderful. I usually roll with mac n cheese, and fried okra, but all the sides are delicious. I can't speak to the other entrees as that fried pork chop is too good not to eat every time.
My grandmother fell in love with this place. The home cooking down to the amazing costumer service. I myself just got dinner there and it is by far the best meal I've had in a while. I will be going back all the time now. Thank you to the staff for your hard work and dedication.

Great food.. Great prices.... I live about 15 miles away, but it's well worth the trip... Wish they had a location on the west side of Savannah... The liver is very tender and the yams make you want "slap to momma"😇
Good service!! The owner is a very polite and generous man. The food is simple comfort food. I go there specifically for the fried pork chop. Excellent quality.
