Leon’s cafe was such a wonder place place to stop for our lunch! We ordered the Turkey Sandwich and Smoked Brisket Panini. The Turkey sandwich was fresh and the the brisket in the panini was delicious! The staff were so kind and friendly, making sure that we had a great lunch. I loved the atmosphere of the small little cafe and the music and ambiance had a “cafe in Europe” feel. The cafe is quite small with limited seating (there is both indoor and outdoor tables), so I can imagine it gets quite busy during peak meal times. I would come again!

This a great breakfast place. Businesses like this show you what small businesses can do when they are run with love. Leon himself is there walking around the cafe making sure everyone is taking care of. The customer service was great and the food was really good as well. I'm a big fan of the home fries and the cinnamon rolls.

Definitely a local business to support! I’m not sure if the person who left the negative review has spent much time in Europe or other foreign countries, but this place immediately struck me as warm, family owned, well run, and everything from the man behind the counter quickly doing everything himself, to the fresh quality of the food immediately put me right back overseas. The other foreign couple complimented the chef when she brought their additional order to their table. Small, straight forward, no nonsense, delicious menu. I had the latte (beautiful), and the breakfast panini with a side of fruit. The breakfast panini was flavorful and really good. The creaminess of the avocado balanced the saltiness of the bacon and bitter sweetness of the arugula. And the bread was reaaallllly fresh and aromatic. The sammy was pressed just long enough to melt most of the cheese without harming the avocado. The fruit was fresh and generous, served in an ice cold bowl. The coffee was strong and delicious. WILL BE BACK! Excellent little under-the-radar spot with extremely reasonable prices. Love.

My family and I were exploring Savannah while using a wagon for my two toddlers. We happened to choose Leon's Cafe of Savannah for a bite to eat, and I am so pleased we did! The workers held the door open for us while we were getting the kids inside and collapsing the wagon. Drinks were ordered and quickly supplied. They were so friendly and laid back. I loved the vibe, music, and artwork within the Cafe. Drinks were spilled and yet again, no big deal. They helped deal with the cleanup without any eye rolls or seeming annoyed by the children. Honestly, the best service and eatery experience we had in the area. And, the food! Oh my goodness, I had never had chicken salad that was so delicious! Everyone was highly satisfied with the food and service at Leon's. We will definitely revisit when back in the area!

The owner and the hostess, blonde woman, were awesome and so helpful in search of my next place to eat. And the panini was amazing too!

Really like this cozy, little place. They ran out of Banh Mi, but we'll order next time we're in town. Healthy and fresh choices sure energize yourself for more wandering around the historic downtown Savannah.

Amazing food, very friendly staff, owner is wonderfully accommodating! My wife and I were walking around Savannah and passed by, saw the menu outside and decided to give it a try. We were very impressed with the options they had. We were recommended the Smoked Brisket Panini and the Prosciutto Panini, to which I am glad we tried, they were fresh and well created artisanal sandwiches. Flavors were out of this world. Highly recommend trying this delicatessen!

This! Place! Is! Amazing! I was happy my family and I got our butts on over to Leon’s cafe in Savannah! My kids had been pointing at the sign ever since we came to Savannah to visit! Boy did this cafe NOT disappoint! I had the Prosciutto Panini! It was by far the yummiest sandwich that I had ever tasted! My husband had the Brisket sandwich and my youngest had the Turkey sandwich! My youngest didn’t eat all of his sandwich because well he’s 7, but I sure did and boy oh boy! I am not a sandwich person but my Panini was so good that I figured I would try his leftover half half of his Turkey sandwich! I don’t know how my son gained enough will power to leave that other half but I am sure glad he did! The owner was a very nice wonderful sweet man and so was Allison. All of the staff along with the owner were hospitable and personable and we had such a great time joking and connecting. So all of that prompted a second visit the following day. We visited again and the food was just as good. It was great to be able to dine at a place that had such wonderful consistency. I had the Panini again. My husband had the Chicken salad sandwich. My oldest son had the Turkey sandwich. My daughter had the Gazpacho, and my youngest two had blueberry muffins and fruit bowls. I also had the house salad with fruit I believe. Tummies were filled along with our hearts once again! Thanks so much for such delicious food! My butt and your kitchen steps have a date so don’t forget—but that will be only after I have another fantastic meal there! Ciao!
