The food is delicious. The service is fast. It's got a cozy, comfortable feel to be in there. I recommend the steak and shrimp soft tacos, they are so good. Add a nice, cold beer and you're all set.
I have now visited 45 states and had Mexican food in most of them and this place is in the top 5% of all the Mexican restaurants I have visited. The food is authentic and delicious. The margaritas (I am a Margarita snob!) are truly delicious (you can! taste the tequila!) and the service is friendly, fast and efficient. I've visited twice on my trip to the area (would go there more if I lived here) and I totally recommend this place! Photos are Pollo Texano, Texas Margarita and Street Tacos. Oh, and one more thing: Prices are absolutely reasonable!
This place was recommended by my coworkers. I tried planning a surprise dinner for my sister. I called ahead the day before, but I was told that they don't take reservations on the weekends because that's when they're at their busiest. Whoever answered the phone did tell me that they would probably be able to seat a party of 10 once we all got there.... so, much for the surprise 🙄 However, I did try talk to the manager once I got there and after explaining to him 5x that I was trying to surprise my sister and the rest of my party was 15 minutes behind us, he finally got us seated. I tried telling him that I wanted him to seat us at a smaller table but get a larger table together for my party, who was on the way. Anyway, we were seated, and to my horror, the server kept trying to get us to move to a smaller table. After ordering drinks, the secret birthday party members began to arrive. So, I was able to pull it off, but I wouldn't suggest anyone try to pull this same surprise 😆 In any case, my Blueberry Margarita was great. Everyone enjoyed their food, and the serving crew even came out with tequila and bid my sister a Happy Birthday. This place was really lively and they had quite a few birthday parties there. We all joined in to giving other patrons birthday wishes. This is a great place to meet up with friends, go on a date or even solo. I plan on coming back to sample some more drinks and food.
Definitely my top choice for Mexican food and margaritas in Savannah. Best service, friendly staff. Large restaurant, but I always sit at the bar.
The food is good, try the mojarra frita! Took one star away because they women’s bathroom almost always smells bad!
Traveled to Savanah to visit a friend. We wanted something different after Thanksgiving. She had never been to this restaurant. So,it was a new experience for all of us. The food was fabulous. I had steak enchiladas that had a mushroom cream sauce. So good. My husband had 3 different type of tacos all delicious. My friend had the guacamole. She was impressed and said she would be back. The service was attentive and friendly. The beer was good and cold. The prices reasonable.
I have always eaten at a different local Mexican restaurant. This was my first time here. The food was delicious, and so was the service. My only negative is that it is very dark inside. This is probably not a problem for most people, but I have blind/low vision issues.
This Mexican Restaurant is amazing. It was my friends and my first time visiting this place. We were greeted from the moment we walked in. There was no wait time. I want to make a recognition for the amazing service that Mrs. Patricia Pineda (Waitress) provided to us during our visit. The food was delicious and it didn’t take long for us to get it. You have to try the White Queso Dip, its great. Their Margaritas are also good. The restaurant was clean and organized.
Overall, I had a good experience and I will definitely go back soon.
My favorite Mexican restaurant. Staff is always nice. They may not be perfect but always willing to get it right. Cause I may not be right, but it is okay they'll try hard to find a good solution. But I've been going there for about 16yrs Love this place and the margarita are delicious 😋
Omg!!! I love this place.. In town for eye surgery . Got a room at quality inn. Googled Mexican food. They popped up. Right around the corner. This place is amazing!!!!! The food the service the wait staff the vibe the customers. The decor. The prices. The mixed drinks.. I seriously found nothing wrong.
Went for my birthday and our waiter was so cute with braces and all. He barely spoke English but he did well. I was even surprised when the waiters and everyone sang me happy birthday. I'm really glad we went there.
After all those years of passing by we decided to stop in asked a guy walking out with a to go order if the food was good he replied yes it was . Walked in the place was clean quick service friendly staff and the food was the best . Thank you
For the most part everything here was fantastic. Service was great and food was delicious, some of the rice was a little crispy, but that's to be expected with large batches being made and held hot. Other than that I highly recommend this place.
The best Tex-Mex food in Savannah! I love this place! The food is excellent, the atmosphere is cozy, and the service is excellent! Limited parking but overall the best! They have tamales!!! It's hard to find a place in Georgia that has them but they do, wish they had green chile but it's okay. I get the Pollo Texacano and its crazy good, 5 stars!!!
The best Mexican place in Savannah. Authentic and determined to deliver quality food to you. I always get the texanas fajitas because I can share it or take some home. The staff are lovely and the drink specials so great! I’ll always come here and support as long as it’s here! Thanks for the food and smiles!
I haven't been here before, so I decided to go out on a limb. To my surprise this place has really good food. I preferred the Platillo Del Mar and it was really good, the fish was not dry, my shrimp was made fresh and not left out to freeze. Overall I highly recommend if you want good Mexican food
Hot, fast, and tasty. All this lunch special for only 10$
