Fresh food wonderful service. We got the special chicken and shrimp for 2. 2 sushi rolls and 2 drinks for $40 . Would definitely go back.

My family loves Hiranos. I am thankful to have a nice restaurant with reasonable prices. I usually get the Fish with vegetables, and sushi a lot of time. I normally ask for no onions and they accommodate me. If you want something fast and easy you should give it a try. They also have take out but I prefer to dine in.
Good food, great service, quick, reasonably priced. My wife and I have been eating there for many years. The owners are very nice.
Korean spicy pork is my favorite.
Salads crisp on cold dish. Fried gyoza is the best
Visited for the first time with some friends and food was good, they were out of most of what we wanted to order but what we did end up with was decent for the price!
What a wonderful hidden gem of the Southside of Savannah. The food was incredible. The service impeccable. The atmosphere felt like home. My lady told me Hiranos has been around since she was little. This is a well established restaurant that is my new favorite. Thank you Hiranos!
Excellent takeout! Chicken Bowl with fried rice never disappoints. Fast and Friendly - always great service! Would have shown food food but this is all that's left..DELICIOUS!
I’ve been coming to this place for years, and I have to say the service in the food are incredible. You never have to ask for a refill, your food never takes too long, this stuff is always friendly. The only bad thing I could possibly say about this location is the hours are very strange

The original owner, Hirano's, has gone back to Japan and sold his businesses. Fortunately, the Abercorn location was the only store to inherit his precise recipes, consistency in flavor and service. Hirano had the bar raised pretty high for over 20 years.
I prefer the Hirano's at the Abercorn location across from Armstrong State University. Their flavors, sauces and food are NOT watered down!
Did I mention service? The restaurant has about 10 tables with various seating arrangements, plus bar seating in front the chef. Service is fast, so please don't be a table-hog. If you see more people coming inside, please release your table and continue socializing outside -- time moves fast when you are trying to enjoy a lunch break.
Best Ginger dressing, shrimp sauce, gyoza sauce......well, everything. Over 30 years of loyal patronage and I have not experienced incorrect orders, poorly cooked food or watered down seasonings or sauces. Only AT THE ABERCORN LOCATION ACROSS FROM ARMSTRONG :-)
PS - for tourists, ABERCORN is pronounced AB-er-CORN.
Well.. I’d never had Japanese before and I’ve been 2 nights in a row. I love love this place. Fast wonderful service. Food so savory and a explosion in taste. Can’t say enough. This Tampa girl !!

It's a small mom and pop kinda place. I ordered a teriyaki beef bowl. Small portion for lunch size and very oily. Cone with a side of ginger salad 🥗
Friendly service. Good prices. Excellent food. Kid friendly. Delicious freshly cooked food. Had the lunch terryaki chicken bowl that comes with a little salad. The ginger dressing on the salad had a wonderful flavor. Group of 8 and we all ate our bowls clean! Perfect portion.

I have to defend the "daughter" mentioned in a previous review...I have NEVER been treated badly at this restaurant...by any of the staff. My husband and I go about twice a month and we are always greeted and treated warmly. The food is perfect, the prices are affordable and the staff is wonderful! Don't let one "bad apple" reviewer (that sounds like he has a personal vendetta towards the "daughter) spoil this perfect little spot to eat. Go enjoy some wonderful food :)
Always consistently good food, we look forward to lunch there a couple of times a month and they remember us and our order and just ask if we're having the usual. Would definitely recommend for a quick and delicious meal, with very friendly and attentive staff members.
Delicious sushi! I enjoyed what I ordered and it was a great place to stop in for lunch in between work!
