Helpful and friendly staff with amazing made from scratch breakfast. Great quiet and cozy place to eat breakfast. Would highly recommend to anyone I know!
My family and I had to stop by Mattie Belles as we are from Mattie's hometown in Vale, NC. Such a charming bakery with the best chocolate chip cookies! We adored Mattie and know she would be proud that her name is carried on! If we are ever in Savannah again, we would definitely return to Mattie Belles!

Mom and I had like much today, it was perfect! Very nice people, good food and perfect size portions. Mom said it was her keep nd of place, we will be back on a regular basis!

What a well-kept secret! I just learned about Mattie Belle's and stopped by for a Buddha Bowl. So delicious!
I had a delicious turkey panini on homemade bread with tomato soup, dessert a hummingbird cupcake! Nice atmosphere, food fresh & tasty will return for sure.

This is my second time here. The owners are very plesant. And the food is great. I just invited my daughter to put this place on her to do list. I am happy i stopped here today.
The grits are amazing! It's a plus that the sausage is already chopped for easy mixing in a grit bowl.
This morning, I needed a wedding cake for a sweet couple who were getting married. What a great experience! They made a beautiful cake in a short amount of time! Such a lovely cake and an even lovelier experience! Highly recommend them!

Made a new lunch discovery. This place is really tucked away, I have been driving by it for however long they have been here. Anyway I ordered the Cuban panini. It was very tasty and freshly made. And a pecan square, which was decadently sweet, and well made. That's all I have tried thus far. But the place is very clean and orderly and the service was great.
Amazing place!! Great service and the food is so fresh and flavorful!!! I highly recommend the sandwiches!!!!!!!!!

My favorite is the butternut squash & sage quiche-Yum! Wonderful scones- both sweet & savory. I haven't tried the sandwichs/panninis yet but plan to... This place is hidden from the road so you have to go behind Sweet Potatoes ( thus the .5 deduction). I've had a number of their bakery goods- cinnamon rolls and large oatmeal cookies are good too. The place is neat, clean, quiet and has quick & attentive service. They also do full cakes to order and cater. Everything is made on site- nothing pre-made or packaged.

Sweet lunch spot. Higher price point than I'd like for lunch, but well worth it (treat yourself). I had a Buddha bowl - fresh veggies w/some cooked veggies over quinoa. I added a fried egg and bacon. Really delicious.
Mattie Belle’s is hands down the best spot for a yummy, healthy lunch in Savannah, especially on the south side! Their salads, Buddha bowls, sandwiches, quiche, etc are all exquisite and are made with healthy, fresh ingredients. Eat here weekly and recommend to all my coworkers and friends!
This little place is so cute and hidden. I had the best cup of coffee here! I also got the Turkey Lurkey panini and it was fantastic! This was a great place for meeting friends for lunch. There is also some small tables outside, and they bring your food out. The service was quick and employees were very friendly!
I absolutely adore this hidden gem I just found today. My daughter's physical therapy appt was next door, and I saw bakery that caught my eye.
But let me tell you,
Walking in you hear beautiful classical music playing in the background..the atmosphere is relaxing and absolutely wonderful.
I ordered the biscuits that are made from scratch with bacon egg and cheese.
My kids ate all of it up!

Absolutely THE BEST paninis in Chatham county! Also had the blueberry crumble for a sweet treat and i nearly hit the floor with excitement and love. This place is outstanding and I will DEFINITELY be not only returning for myself, but i will be recommending this locally owned treat to everyone I know!
Every Wednesday morning I get the sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit... and it is divine. I'm sure they have other wonderful things, but I don't care. Best biscuits in Savannah!
Great little hole in the wall eatery. They have excellent overnight oats with fresh fruit.
Would give it 5 stars for a better location but on the inside is definitely a 5 star product.
Friendly folks and delicious food and coffee!! Locally owned and operated - sources locally for the coffee (Cup to Cup) as well as for the homemade fresh breakfast and lunch items!! Many items lean toward a healthier choice!
