My sister and I had a wonderful first experience at Wayback Burgers today. This is mainly due to the friendly and extremely helpful manager, Eric. He answered every question we had and even gave us background information about the store and its products. On top of this incredible customer service, the food was fabulous! Wayback Burgers is now our favorite burger place. In addition, the store offers many coupons and deals, even for teachers. That makes my family of teachers extremely satisfied!

I LOVE this place!! I can’t believe it took me so long to go here. I got the single cheeseburger with fries and it was awesome. Customer service can be hard to find in Savannah sometimes, but not at this place, the whole way back crew was amazing and extremely helpful. I will definitely be back and definitely will be spreading to good word about this amazing burger joint!! �������

This was our first visit to any Wayback Burgers; but certainly won’t be our last! Enjoyed the burgers and the milkshakes! Customer service was too notch too!

Excellent food and great customer service!! This restaurant has always been awesome for many years. The manager and staff are all polite, friendly, and treat customers with respect. I love their classic burger and fries. I love the nostalgic atmosphere. My most recent visit was on Saturday December 9 with my daughter. I complimented the manager and staff in person. The Best Burgers in Savannah!! Highly Recommended!!

Hi. It's been a minute but this had to be done. I wasn't looking, but I found my new burger spot. Wayback has been on the menu for me twice in one week. I hardly ever eat the same place twice in a month or more. It's just so many choices. Wayback takes the shake. Made with my favorite, real ice cream. I'm sorry but soft serve doesn't cut it. I tried the Red Velvet shake and at first sip I was GOOD! It had chunks of cake that were just yummy. But what surprised me, those chunks of cake didn't clog up the straw. That alone is worth 10 stars. The vibe is mellow. Low key and a great place to have a conversation while your eating. No blaring music or TV. I also tried the Mac &Chz Bites. Order 2. They are addictive. We ended up getting 2 more to go. I did learn they use 100% vegetable oil with zero cholesterol. All that said, to me it's all about the beef. I have had 2 Cheesy, and 1 Bacon Double burger in my 2 visits. I gotta say I can't tell you which one I enjoyed more, and I was raised on butter and bacon. So far they are 2 for 2 with me. I will be back. Great job, to the owner and staff for understanding the meaning of hospitality. Great food! I absolutely recommend giving them a go.
Honestly, I wasn't expecting the food to surpass my expectations, and I could be critical.In short, I was very impressed with the quality of the burger and also the French fries. Everything was fresh and cooked just about perfectly. Highly recommend this joint if you're looking for a rock solid burger!
*Edit* My review is mostly the same as before, the food is great, the staff are friendly and get the food out fast. The owner is really good to city employees. The edit comes from me finding out they have and I tried their funnel cake sticks and they were fantastic!
Had lunch here and loved it! The fried pickles are some of the best I've ever had. My burger was very tasty. They must use some kind of special pepper jack cheese because it was really flavorful and delicious. My husband ordered The Cheesy (it was just meat and cheese) he loved it. We also tried the chicken tenders, they were good but we will probably skip them next time and try some fries or chips instead. Our order was cooked quickly and perfectly. Can't ask for anything more! Great visit!
Burgers were good. Not amazing but pretty good for a fast food burger! Lots of options and loved the shakes to balance out the salty and sweet. The cajun tots were super good! They’d be reason enough to go back.
This place is fantastic! When I ate here last weekend, there were only two gentlemen working. But let me tell you, they were working hard and with a smile on their face! Service was excellent and so was the food. I had a burger, onion rings, and milkshake. I also tried my husband's tater tots. Everything was delicious. Can't wait to go (way)back!
The vegetarian options are amazing both my dad and I are vegetarians, we were able to create our own burgers. We also got the mac and cheese tots and those were amazing! The restaurant is very clean and had a very casual atmosphere, the workers were very friendly as well!
Great food. Fairly quick service. Mainly leaving a review because I just witnessed the manager give a burger and drink to a homeless guy in need. Much respect to any company that takes care of the community
Best burger! Service was polite, but they weren’t able to take orders except via app, which was a pain. Glad I stayed and enjoyed that meal!
Pulled up and got some burgers. It was decent. Didn’t fulfill my burger crave unfortunately but it was still good. The gentleman taking my order was nice and got my order together right. Cook time wasn’t that long even though there were a couple people in there. Try and get the chipotle mayo for dipping.

There some confusion with my pick up order online, where it didn't show at the store. The manager took such great care of me. I want to give him recognition for this and I hope the company employs more folks like him. He was awesome and very kind.

This was my second catering order and both were superb. My order was 100% to my requests. My order was ready and hot when I arrived and the staff was helpful and friendly.
First time going here, great food, reasonable places, the staff were friendly. The store was very clean and I loved the outside seating. I would recommend this place to my friends. My friend ordered the the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, we didn't know that fries don't automatically come with it, we will know for next time.
