Everyone was super helpful, answered our questions, and were very nice. And the shrimp were fresh (only a few hours old) and at a good price.
We provided our own cooler - they weighed the shrimp and scopped them into the cooler for us. And we then scooped the ice (free / they have an ice machine) to keep them cold for the drive back to Atlanta.
When we visit Savannah / Tybee Island next year for vacation, we will be stopping by again for more fresh shrimp.
We stopped by Scuba Steve's on our way home from Tybee. We were excited to pick up a couple of pounds off the boat local shrimp and beautiful filet of grouper. Both were enjoyed when we made it home in time for dinner. We've added Scuba Steve's to our "to-do" stop for every Tybee trip.
We were able to pre-order 5 lb of great fresh shrimp there. All the staff we encountered were fun to deal with. Lots of other good looking seafood was available.
He has some of the best fresh shrimp around. Steve catches them straight from the ocean and they taste like it too. He does have other seafood when in season and his prices are reasonable. I will going back.
2nd time in 2 months between visits….SO good scallops and red snapper. Ready to come back just for this fresh seafood.
Took some amazing grouper and fresh local shrimp and mad a phenomenal meal. Steve takes pride in his product and has great prices.

Food was great with great service just a bit overpriced but it is close to the beach?
Great customer service. We purchased Georgia shrimp that came off the boat that evening . We boiled them just a bit of salt. They were sweet, creamy and fat. It had a crab flavor.
Picked up 3lbs of Jumbo Headless shrimp and some very nice (U10/15) scallops.

These were fantastic shrimp and scallops, in fact they were closer to U10 scallops, much bigger than I initially thought.
We are very excited to cook these up, the young lady behind the counter this morning was friendly and knew what was the most fresh offering of the shrimp selection.
Owners are nice couple and friendly -we bought 10 lbs of shrimp it fresh and taste good would recommend to friends and family plus free ice to keep seafood safe in the cooler till get home. They confirm that it from local fishing boats not from Thailand and I can tell.
We stopped by to pick up two pounds of shrimp for a low country boil. The price was perfect and the shrimp were super fresh. Will definitely be stopping back in next time we visit Tybee.
Steve mans the counter himself and the shrimp is as fresh as you can get it. At our request he even pulled out a few pounds with the heads still on. The shrimp were wonderfully sweet. 100% will be stopping by again the next time we holiday in Savannah/Tybee.

I purchased 2 pounds of shrimp and a red snapper filet. The man behind the counter was very nice and made some great suggestions for seasoning for cooking shrimp. They don’t steam or boil any seafood there, but the seafood is all fresh. This was the best seafood I’ve had by far. If you decide to take a vacation to Tybee, you must get some fresh seafood here.
Excellent shrimp- *LOCAL* and wild caught! Too many restaurants in Savannah are serving shrimp from Indian and Thai shrimp farms. It’s disgusting and very cheap. I would rather spend a little more and get shrimp that are from our local waters and support shrimpers here in our community. Thank you Scuba Steve!
