I don't know why people write reveiws that make no sense..the food is excellent and priced in line with most other places ..one person said its smokey in the bar?how can that be?you cannot smoke in any restaurant in savannah..if you had any issues they are quick to make it right.I've had plenty of visits there and the food is excellent the staff is friendly.I would recomend this place to everyone I know..and do..
Best kept secret in savannah---BUT THE SECRET IS OUT. We are regulars at Rachael's----why go anywhere else when you've tried everywhere in Savannah and its got the best food in town. It's a great place to go when you want to chill and enjoy time with your friends and loved ones. Each offering is cooked homemade and to order. Best bacon wrapped sirloin that tastes almost like filet mignon for around $12. Best rib eye in town. Best pizza by far---better than Mellow Mushroom... and they have a grown up grilled cheese with a heaping of waffle fries for $4.50---my husband's addiction[choice of four cheeses and homemade thick yummy bread]....they also have a new deck with large screen....would be a great place for an event. Bar is separate from restaurant...TRY IT YOU'LL LIKE IT!!!! Can't wait to try everything on the new menu....new menu is unlike anything offered in Savannah--yum!!!!!!!

DE-LICIOUS! Great service. I'm new to Savannah, live in Georgetown. Ordered this Mediterranean chicken pita meal 3 times so far. YUM. My husband ordered a burger twice now(doesn't remem the name) but bottom line that burger was juicy and cooked RIGHT. we always order to-go so I can't tell u about servers. But every call or interaction with their staff has been outstanding. The owner, I assumed, picked up the phone one time with cheerful greeting and politely took my order, I think Rachael greeted me one time and opened the door for me while she appeared to be on her break out front, another time the front hostess was very friendly and helpful..I sent my mom to pick up food today and even she commented on the great customer service! Yes I AM impressed bc I don't witness consistent customer service these days. I am very conscientious of where I spend my money. I will be back to Rachaels again. This is how u build a restaurant to last generations. Value your customers, value your business, teach your employees to do the same. Yay Rachaels! I'm trying a burger next time : )
Yum!. Not sure why this place has such bad reviews...the food was amazing, the service was excellent, and our to-go order was ready in less than 10 minutes. Wings and the grass fed bacon blue burger are amazing!

EXCELLENT! You'll love it!!. We tried Rachael's for the first time while in Savannah. We were amazed at the variety of menu options and food was unbelievable! We loved the jerk chicken, clam chowder and the biggest, mosts unique burger we've had in a long time. The service was steller -- Rachael even made the rounds to all the guests. The personal touch was impressive. The presentation of our meals were memorable as well -- so much so, that we took pictures of the clam chower and burger and posted in our album on Facebook. They have the BEST happy hour deals, too. The pricing overall was very reasonable. We are foodies, and love all types of cuisine. We highly recommend Rachael's 1190 -- you won't be disappointed!!
I have never had a bad meal here. The service is always welcoming and friendly. The whole vibe is very close to "Cheers." There are locals that are greeted by name, there is a pool table, and lots of TV screens for games. I highly recommend Rachael's to anyone, and always take my family and friends when they visit.
The only reason the atmosphere rating is a 3 is due to the string restroom smell throughout the building, however I do believe this is because of sewer work happening on the street.

The adult grilled cheese was fabulous. You have a choice of 2 cheeses to put on it. I had it with Swiss and Cheddar. Toasty, melty goodness.

Sometimes it gets a little loud inside, but the patio sitting outside is really good and you can watch sports on large screens there too! The food is to die for and the service and friendliness of Rachel's makes it always a pleasure to go there!
