Poe's Tavern - Savannah - Photo album

We were driving through and stopped in for lunch. Very clean, Edgar Allen Poe themed restaurant. We sat on the covered porch where there were a couple TVs and a nice breeze. Service was polite and attentive. Food was well created. We had the nachos, which was a great appetizer and plenty for four. I
Outstanding restaurant and food. My server was Jonathan and he took great care of us. I ordered the Tell-Tale burger. It was fresh, high quality, and delicious. I also recommend their blue cheese coleslaw
All around incredible — great service, great environment (love Edgar Allan Poe so the decor was great) the open air concept was nice as well, but the food was AWESOME — granted we got grilled chicken sandwiches and burgers — but the Chicken sandwich I had was scalding hot (as were the fries) and the
The Buffalo BBQ shrimp salad with blue cheese dressing was 👏 AMAZING! Such a great combo of flavors. We were there for a late lunch, it was quiet and service was fast.
Great service! You can actually order a drink to go and drink while walking around town. The burger patties are ground and made in house. The onion straws are crunchy and tasty.
Had the pleasure of enjoying a few beer at this bar the other night. The waitress was very refreshing, but I did not catch her name. Her somewhat confident appearance was endearing in a way. The place is quite nice and with a good selection of draft beer and food. But just try it yourself
From the moment we walked in the service was great. Immediately greeted by the bartender, whom we decided to sit with from that interaction alone. Cocktails were not only eye catching but wonderfully made & delicious. We went with the burger of the day & the Amaontillado. They were cooked perfectly,
Stopped here on a whim after SCAD graduation, it wasn't crowded and smelled delicious, sat at the open air huge bar in the middle. Loved that the whole side of the restaurant was open to the outside. We ordered the fish tacos with a side of blue cheese bacon slaw Holy Moley delicious! And a jalapeño
Had 45 minutes to wait for our room at the Best Western to be ready and the front desk person suggested Poes for lunch because it's right behind it. Great service, friendly atmosphere, delicious food and reasonable prices.
Food and staff absolutely amazing! Very kind! Loved our server Hailey she was such a joy!
