Visited this place during happy hours and it was worth it. During happy hours, the appetizers and drinks cost half the price. Although the timings are very odd (4pm-6pm) from Monday-Friday, if you are free during those times, then it is worth your money.
Ordered coconut shrimp, firecracker shrimp, Jamaican chicken wings and everything was delicious. The ambience is also pretty good and definitely one of the good places to click pictures.

Convenient location, spacious restaurant. Decor is island themed. It transports you to a beautiful island. Bar is well stocked and beautiful to look at. Menu is very good with jerk chicken, jerk shrimp etc. New items are frequently added. Drinks are tasty. Ultimate pineapple frozen cocktail is my favorite and it is served in a pineapple. It tastes very good. Salmon is tasty too.

Nice environment, good food, service was decent. The drinks are strong 😉 and they do offer very good non-alcoholic drink options also. Only concerns were being seated at a table that was wiped down but still had someone else's rice left behind 😕 and there were a lot of dusty areas

I am giving Bahama Breeze 3 stars because while my food was average, at best, my wife thoroughly enjoyed her dinner. I had their wings as an appetizer and the applewood cheeseburger as my main dish. Both were just average or maybe slightly below. My wife had firecracker shrimp and seafood paella. Both were excellent.
I guess the lesson,if there is one, is to not order bar food from a island style restaurant.

We went there yesterday 6/9 for a double birthday celebration and we had a blast. Attentive staff, live music, amazing food and drinks. Our waiter was the best. it was our first time there. My sister and boyfriend were happy and I am happier for having chosen this restaurant.

AMAZING. Bahama Breeze of Schaumburg is a wonderful place to dine. The food is superb, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere ties it all together. I cannot recommend the Jerk Shrimp Pineapple Bowl enough, it is so great! Our server, Christian, was very welcoming and respectful. Well worth it, going back soon.

Nice place, friendly staff, very helpful with all the questions we asked. Decent prices. Decent food. And AMAZING drinks, highly recommended the painkiller, goes down very smooth. We will definitely go back again. Everyone who had the tequila sunburt salmon said it was delicious, the coconut shrimp was good. And the chicken sandwich was a little bland. But there was a decent selection to choose from on the menu

Was invited out here. First time here and it was a nice place. Good reggae music & good food as well. My friend & I started out with the Island Hopper Combo (Jamaican chicken wings, crispy coconut shrimp, onion rings & conch fritters) with 3 sauces (citrus mustard, jerk bbq & roasted pineapple chutney). After the appetizers, we ordered some drinks (long island iced tea & frozen bahamarita). Then the entrees. I had the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes & cilantro crema. My friend had the calypso shrimp linguine. Everything was very good (that long island iced tea & the grilled chicken dish were excellent) but slightly disappointed with the chicken wings. I thought they needed some spiciness but they weren't jerk wings so maybe that's why. I was expecting a kick in the taste buds. All in all it was a good dining experience.

Well the waiter was nice and courteous, but i did have a problem with a drink i ordered! I had to send it back because it tasted too bitter, not well mixed! And the seafood paella came, I didn’t notice one of the shells was broken on one mussel because I dug in soon as it hit the table! But unfortunately shells were throughout my dish and I couldn’t enjoy it because every bite I bit into shells! I picked through the dish but couldn’t even eat half of it because it was annoying looking for shells! Fire cracker shrimp I ordered was great though! Lobster Mac and cheese was ok!

First time ever being here and although our waiter kept disappearing and forgot our drinks several times, the calamari was amazing and the jerk chicken pasta was amazing. When the waiter was there though he was very helpful and when my friend didn’t like her food he apologized and replaced it. The music was good and the atmosphere was good Also. I will definitely return 👍🏽

This place has it all....ambiance,great food,great drinks,fab decor and we sat next to a giant firepit with my fresh drink out of a fresh pineapple.The kerk chicken was good but wish I wouldve had some jerk sauce on the side because just a bit dry but the chutney was really good and the black beans and rice were yummy! Great experience.....dedinitely be back!

We were there for a double birthday celebration. A party of 18, and our servers had a great system worked out. We had several separate bills. Anyhow they were attentive, food was good as well as drinks. We brought in our own cake and they were happy to refrigerate...did not charge a slicing fee and even brought us two desserts on the house. Our server Joe and other helpers were great. Thank you for making it an enjoyable evening. We will be back!

This one star is generous. Bahama Breeze used to be one of favorite restaurants, we would go there for all special occasions. We went there on March 20,2018 and it was the worst experience ever, our food was ice cold, our server was overwhelmed and all three of us got violently sick. All of us are still sick today and will NEVER return. The manager didn’t even care that we had issues with our food

Great place to enjoy yummy food and killer drinks! They don’t play with the pour 🤪. We had a great time and very friendly and helpful servers. They took the time to explain the menu and offered drink recommendations. It has become a family favorite 👌🏻👍🏼

Very impressed by the staff! I went with a large group of individuals with special needs and the staff spoke directly to each individual and treated everyone with dignity and respect. This place is so amazing and the Ambience is wonderful. It honestly makes you feel like you’re not even in Chicago has a Caribbean kind of feel. If every waitress was like Madison I would come every single day. She is more knowledgeable and considerate than any other Waitress I have ever met.

Waitress was super nice I think her name was Christa. It was my sister & I 1st time there & we enjoyed everything. We had spinach dip, chicken empanadas, jerk chicken wings. Our entrees were she had the fish tacos (which she said was great) & I had the buttermilk fried chicken breast with mashed potatoes (which I loved) DEFINITELY going back
