The food was fantastic I had the fajitas, I ordered a raspberry margarita on the rocks that was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.
Went for our Anniversary and Bryan our waiter was awesome.
Great food, Wonderful service, and the Pinata Desert is unbelievable, also the Dry ice Margarita Mixologist was Unbelievable.. A little Pricey but well worth it...

We were celebrating my son’s birthday. We made reservations on open table. We were seated immediately. Very generous portions. My son was very happy with the choice. To finish it off, we had the chocolate lovers piñata. It could not have been better. A little pricey but definitely worth it.
What a fun place! And for my birthday we had the piñata... so cool and it fed the whole party!! Great service!
As a family we met up here for an early Saturday lunch. It was not crowded at all and making reservations was easy online. Hostess and waiter were friendly. Food was good, bit pricey Portions were on the smaller side even though prices were high. Either way we would visit this place again in the future The chips are very tasty and they bring you a lot of them. If you are on a diet...don't eat them, you won't be able to stop. Even though the barbacoa was pricey...it was dang good.
Great experience! Food and drinks were good, good service. The gac was really good and fresh, chips were super ligh and crispy. We had steak tacos and jumbo shrimp fajita, the butter sauce with shrimp was really good!
Amazing experience!! Of course, it includes great food and great service. We had such a wonderful family and friends leisurely dinner with amazing service by our server Jackie. We ended with delicious Chocolate Pinata!! Worth a try!!
Highly recommended! Our waiter & waitresses went above and beyond to make my son’s 15th birthday unforgettable. They signed him “happy birthday“ and made a beautiful chocolate piñata plate.
Very professional & friendly stuff

Besides Martina’s snobby attitude & treatment, I’m giving a 5 star review. I asked her for a booth & she took us to a table. She stated she didn’t have servers at the booths. Yet a few minutes later she sat 3 different set of people at booths. White people. Are you trying to set a racist tone here? I got way better treatment at Gordon Ramsay’s, Michael Jordan’s & Ditkas than this. Seriously & I’m coming back. If Martina is there, I will ask, am I at the status to get a booth finally? Since I’ll be bringing some white friends for ya. Anyways the food was delicious & so were the drinks. Our waitress Adeloya was super sweet & attentive which helped alleviate Martina’s treatment.
The place is cute & nice. They clean the tables very well afterwards.
I like the molcajate salsa & they give you a large portion of really well made chips. The margaritas are not overwhelmed with tequila & made well. The steak was cooked perfectly in my steak fajita bowl.
Anyways will be returning as stated above because my friends want to dine in and the food and drinks were good.
By far the best Mexican restaurant I've been to. I was in Chicago visiting my boyfriend and he recommended Uncle Julio. The first thing I applaud is the ambiance and set up of the restaurant. It was a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. I do not care for salsa, however I enjoyed the salsa that was provided with the chips. I ordered tacos and they were the best tacos I've ever had. The meat was seasoned to perfection. I was surprised to receive pinto beans rather than refried beans, but that surprise was short-lived when I tasted my food. Those beans were also well seasoned. My Grand swirl drink was delicious. I will absolutely attend this restaurant again the next time I am in Chicago. I will recommend this restaurant to anyone who was looking for a great authentic Mexican meal.
Nice Mexican restaurant decor, nice Latina dancer paintings on the walls, lighting is dem and cozy. They make fresh tortillas in a mechanical tortilla maker in the center of the restaurant super cool. Chips and salsa are one of a kind. Good place a date.
Went to Uncle Julio's for dinner. Had queso, shrimp fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, and habanero stuffed shrimp. I am not sure we like tex mex, as we were expecting it to be more Mexican than "tex" but it was decent. Giving it five stars because their chocolate piñata was worth the entire visit. It was filled with fruit and churros. It is absolutely something to experience and highly recommend giving it a try, at least once. Definitely bring some people to help you eat it because it is way too much for two!
